I needed an entire new house system with all duct work installed and lines and power. I had window units for air and baseboard for heat. Greg's team was great to work with. Always on time and very professional. Did a great job on the install and I love the system Can't even hear it run. They worked and listened to me on ideas I had on what I wanted to have done, and we worked well together to come to a final solution that worked, as some of the ducts was hard to install. Would use the Blair team anytime. P.S. Great price on the system

We selected Blair Heating and Cooling to install a Trane Mini-split ductless AC system in our historic 100 year old house. The system has two compressors and a total of 6 indoor units. From the start, Greg Blair and his team went out of their way in suggesting ways to accomplish exactly what we wanted. His team sought our feedback on every decision made right down to the routes the outside lines took to make sure they were as integrated as possible. Even though the job was difficult as our house is a three-story brick house with terra cotta blocks in the walls and metal where you would think metal shouldn't be, all of them remained positive, helpful and really excellent. I can’t recommend Blair any higher. This is the second job they have done for us and they are definitely our only choice!!

For both it was about $10000. It was a high efficient air conditioning system in. They were fine. I didn't have any problem with Blair. They do a good job. They're very responsive. Anytime I've needed any service they've been out here and the price is reasonable. They are here when they say they are going to be.

They were very nice and I would have them again. For price, I didn't quite expect that but it was close to what they had said. It was okay, it was fine. They were very responsive.

Blair's services were great, from Greg who initially came out to quote the install, to the guys who actually did the install. We hadn't had any experience with local HVAC contractors, it ended up being a wise decision on deciding to deal with them. The install went smoothly, everything went just as planned, great looking work. Adam and the other guy who came out (can't remember his name) were the definition, in my experience, of what it is to be tradesmen. Clearly well-versed in their field, as well as informative without coming off pushy or salesey. Down to earth and professional. Give those guys a raise. Will request them for additional work, next on the list is an electronic air cleaner for the furnace.

Just bought my home and had not turned the furnace on yet. Robbie came out and inspected the furnace and also went over the filter system and things I need to do to keep it running at peak performance.

The whole experience from start to finish was seamless and very professional. We would highly recommend Blair for any service or installation work. Robert and Josh were great as installers. Robert's attention to detail was amazing. Perfection was not good enough for him. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect with the installation of our new unit.

Robert was very professional, polite, and came to just get our unit working. Didn't try to sell us anything, didn't try to invent problems. SO very nice to find honest tradesmen in this day and age.

I was very impressed with this company and the job they did! The service people were very courteous and careful about not tracking in anything going in and out. They finished each unit in 1 day. It looks neat and works great. Both renters were very satisfied with the results. I am also very satisfied with their job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know who needs work done for Heating and air conditioning.

Our AC would not run so we went to Angies list to find a reputable dealer. Found one in no time and they were fantastic. Prompt on time and had my AC fixed in less than an hour. Blair Heating will be our only repair company to go to from now on. We had a worn out part. He showed me the difference in the old part and new part. Plus our AC was a little low on freon so they put in 1/2 pound of freon. Runs like a brand new AC! Thanks Blair!!!

I thought that there were areas in which they went beyond normal service. For example, the owner of the company,who was also the person who did the estimate, gave me his cell number to call with any questions because it was the week-end and he was going out of town. I did have some questions and it was nice to be able to have them answered immediately since I needed the furnace installed ASAP.

They are close to me and have fair pricing.

I will say I left a message requesting an appointment for a tune up, and did not receive a return call. I decided to give them one more chance four days later, and someone answered the phone this time. They should check their phone systems to see if messages are getting through. The woman that took my information did not write down the city. The tech had trouble putting my address in his GPS because he was using the wrong city, so he had to call me. Other than that, the service was very professional, and reasonable compared to others I called.

They explained the work in detail , did the work as promised, and were very good about cleaning up after themselves. They even followed up three times by phone to ensure our satisfaction with the work.

I love the work they are doing for me. They are working on a serparate furnace because we have two. They are only charging us some labor cost. The owner even came out at 3am to make sure there was no carbon monoxide.

I used them because they were the cheapest around on parts and during the installation of my furnace. They were like about 30% cheaper than other estimates I got. I would recommend them but one needs to go through the policy and ask them questions before they sign up. Mr. Blair is a very fair and reasonable person to work with. He is pretty laid back. I’m very satisfied with him. He is honest and he is not trying to make a fortune off of everyone he meets. For instance, they wanted $5500 to put in central air and a gas furnace and everybody else wanted about $8500 for the same equipment. So, I thought I should give him a try. I have used his service over the past two to three years at different times and I have always been really satisfied with him. I used to get a $400 bill and now, a couple of times we have got a $150 bill after his service. The only feedback that would not be so great would be for one of his service technicians. The service technician was new and didn’t know Mr. Blair’s policy and maybe he went along with what he had been doing in his old company and Mr., Blair didn’t do that. So Mr. Blair rectified the situation out of the way. It worked out well. Mr. Blair wrote off the $200 from that technician’s service call. If one has any issues, Mr. Blair goes above and beyond to take care of it. He came to our house and we talked for an hour. He was in no hurry. He didn’t drive me off like a lot of people would. He is an excellent person as far as I can see. I would not hold him responsible for every worker he has. The main point was that he was willing to rectify the situation and didn’t give me any hassles. I have always had really good quality work from him. They have been to my house at least half a dozen times in the past three years. They don’t have tech support on phone or things like that. They come in and get the unit running, usually. The problem I’m having is that the unit has over lived its usefulness. It is time to get a new one. I plan on using them in the future.

Was somewhat confused to hear the inspectors comments describing a complete failure of the compressor (still under warranty) based its outstanding performance since being repaired.

They never called me or came back out. They did a decent job with the original request but they didn't follow through.

Installation was more difficult than expected as holes for the pipe had to go through some solid wood bracing between the floor joists. Holes had to be drilled in the brick outer wall and then back through the brick chimney. Taps and cut-off valves were installed and a pressure test was done. The workers spent most of a day on the job. Pressure tests showed that there were no leaks

Everything went very well from start to finish. We were replacing both furnace and a/c as they were nearing the end of their expected life. House has three levels and lowest level has always been very cold. Greg Blair came to house and said installing of a low-voltage fan that runs 24x7 would help significantly. He was correct....lowest level now quite comfortable without space heaters. All work done on time and very neatly, without it being necessary for us to be there. Cleanup was very thorough...we wondered the first day if they had even come, until we opened the utility closet and saw all newly installed equipment. Their office staff also very helpful and professional. Work completed exactly per the estimate. Duke Energy rebate, manufacturer rebate, and federal tax credit programs all explained and paperwork completed for us. Very positive experience in all respects.
