JERRY'S HEATING AND COOLING

If this is the same "Jerry's Heating and Cooling" business that use to be in Gallipolis, Ohio, they are about worthless. I had them come out and check my air unit because it wasn't cooling very well, They came out and said it needed freon, fine, if that is what it needs just add it so my house will be cool. Over the next few days, I seemed to not notice a difference in the air tempurature since the adding of the freon, so I contacted them and they would not return phone calls, so I contacted another heating and cooling company, and they came out and checked my unit and told me that I had no freon in my unit. Just a few days before this I paid Jerrys Heating and Cooling to fill my unit, and this other company even checked for leaks in my unit to make sure none had leaked out. There were no leaks, I just got charged for a service call and product they didnt even do. So I ended up paying again to have more freon put in my unit so my house would be cool on hot summer days. I have told everyone I know about this company and have warned them to never use them. If this is the company that use to be in Gallipolis, I sure hope people read these reviews before chosing them to do any work for them. Now I guess we all know why they moved. Every one in Gallipolis knows the type of shody work they do and want no part of them any longer

If I could give lower than 1 star, I would. I called this *business* on Fri, Dec. 2, 2008. My heil unit was not acting right. I purchased my house two yrs ago and never had any problems. I found out these people were the original installers of my unit. Or so they said. Anyway, let me just give the facts of what they did. They sent a tech out to my home that day. The problem we were having was no heat. The temp kept getting lower. That was the coldest day so far and we had no heat. He said he *fixed* it & had to order the breakers to REALLY fix it. OK. So, I come home at 5 pm to no heat for a weekend of 20 degrees. Um, no. I call their emergency line and you have to lve a message. I left one every hour and no one EVER called me back until Monday. I have asthma and i am also in a wheelchair. I CAN'T GET SICK. I also can't go to a hotel b/c of my situation. My hubby and dog and I spent that weekend bundled up with two space heaters to keep warm. Which I had to buy. We have endless amounts of blankies, but the air itself was 20 deg. He came back on Mon, *fixed* it again. We had heat until the parts he had to order came in. Yeah, right. I called him EVERYDAY for 3 weeks and he NEVER did anything. Everytime, he said the part was *on order*. That first nite, he also said to call him when i got home from work and if i had no heat, he wld come right over to fix it. I left him 5 voice mails and he never answered until 9 pm. THEN, he said it was too late to come out. He did that twice, two weekends. I finally called a diff. place. They fixed it in 2 days.1 day to see what was wrong. They ord the part, it got here in 2 days. They came out 1 more time and fixed it in one hour. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH JERRY'S HEATING/COOLING 740-446-8280 in GALLIPOLIS, OH 45631 They are unprofessional and simply, plain stupid. I would sue them for lost wages and health risks if I had extra money. LOSERS. Idon't care if you can't fix something, but don't lie to me and say the part is on order and never call me back. I kept calling for one month and they NEVER got back to me.
