Terminix - Middleburg Heights -Termite & Pest Control

We signed up for a yearly service agreement. It has been great! We had a problem in between scheduled applications and they came out to re-spray. Very professional. Would highly recommend them!

It went very well. I no longer have the problem as far as I know. The price itself was more reasonable than Orkin.

We have had them for many years. They come out four times and we pay in advance for the whole year. We also have termite insurance with them. Before we moved into this house in 1973, it had been treated by the company for termites. We just kept up the termite insurance policy and they come every year. They have been very satisfactory for us. In addition to the price we pay on pest control, if we have any problems with any kind of pests in the house or outside, they will come free. I have no complaints at all about Terminix. This has been going on for several years and we will continue to use them.

We like the person who comes out to do the treatment. We have a contract with Terminix for about two years. They are fine. We pay them every three months. We don?t see the person anymore as he always comes in the morning when we are not here. He only treats the exterior of our house these days which is fine. During his initial days he used to treat our garden and it had worked out well for us. He used to do treatment for ants initially. He leaves a thorough note of what he has done, and if there are any problems he would come back. We don?t see bugs anymore and we are happy about that. We don?t have any problems with him either.

The pest control company was friendly and helpful. The alarms haven't gone off since I had them come in which means they are getting the mice. The price was fine. I had to go with them. The quality was good. They were responsive. They were punctual. They were there before I was.

They spray both inside and outside my house. The person who comes out is punctual and professional. The quality of his work is good. Their customer service is not good and they are not customer oriented.

The termite procedure went well. We haven't had any problems, although they were to come back a year later to take a look and make sure everything was good, they made an appointment, but never showed up.

We had mice and ants before we called Terminix, now we don't. We have also used their promised service of free extra service if we see pests between visits. They came out shortly after we called and took care of the carpenter ants that were emerging at the beginning of the season, prior to our next scheduled visit.

I have had them as a service since 2002 and have been pleased with their service. They took care of an ant problem that I had not been able to resolve by another company. They always call if they are running behind. My house is on a slab and is more likely to have an ant problem. I have had several technicians to my home, and all of them have been good.

They couldn't kill the carpenter bees and said they didn't have anything stronger they could use. They treated the perimeter of the house but the borer bees came back. After the first two visits they started showing up unannounced and I'd come home to a bill stuck in the door. One time during the winter (not a great time to treat the exterior of a home), there was a bill and no evidence that anything had been done; no footprints in the snow around the house. When I called to complain, they said that I wouldn't necessarily see the powder they spread around the house, but they'd send someone out again.

They were fine, they got ride of my problems. The technician was on time, did the job right. He was courteous and helpful. Their prices were in line with most of the other companies I looked at. I went with them because they could make it out to my home sooner then anyone else and came on my schedule.

They inspect for ants, bugs and anything that is unusual. They come every three months and will make an extra call if you need them to. They are punctual, professional and reliable. They call you before they come and guarantee their service.

They do good work; come when they say. They don't drag dirt into the house. They left a book to identify pest that I might see.

Seems like a nice guy and gives us advice about keeping pests out of house. Also gave advice about pouring bleach down drain to eliminate foul odor.

They are very thorough. I once forgot about an appointment so they just came out the next day with no complaints. $450 for the year.

I signed up for an annual contract and after a year I still have carpenter ants and spiders. I had them come out for the last installment over a month ago and since then we have had carpenter ants and spiders. They do not show up when expected. They seem to have a rotating door of employees. They were very rude on the phone and would not let me talk with a manager after several phone calls and requests.

Our overall experience is satisfactory. I don't like being tied to an annual contract. However, they will come out for extra visits if you experience any additional problems. For example if you notice any pests between sprayings, they will come out and spray again.

We were very happy with the service and the personnel and would call them again for any bug issues. The fact that they educated us on 'ant' facts really helped us in understanding where and why ants congregate. We are very careful about keeping all wet wood far away from our house.

This company treats our home on a quarterly basis. Due to these treatments, we seldom have any insects in our home. Any problems that arise (for example, yellow jacket nests around our deck in the summer) are promptly treated at no additional cost once we notify the company. The service technicians are always polite and leave their shoes at the door when treating the interior.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN PRETTY GOOD, ALTHOUGH I HAVE NOT COMPARED PRICES TO ANOTHER PEST CONTROL COMPANY. FROM READING ANGIE'S LIST, IT SEEMS LIKE OTHER PEOPLE HAVE HAD A COMPANY COME ONLY ONCE AND THEN NO FURTHER PROBLEMS.

INITIALLY, THERE SEEMED TO BE MUCH CONFUSION ON THEIR PART AS TO WHEN THE APPOINTMENT WAS TO TAKE PLACE. DUE TO THIS, IT TOOK ABOUT TWO WEEKS FOR THE INITIAL SERVICE CALL. THE SECOND VISIT WAS MORE TIMELY.

WE SIGNED A 1-YR AGREEMENT WITH TERMINIX. THEY WOULD TREAT THE OUTSIDE PERIMETER OF THE HOUSE QUARTERLY, AND INSIDE IF REQUESTED. IT SEEMED LIKE THEY DID A DECENT JOB, HOWEVER WE WOULD SOMETIMES START SEEING BUGS BEFORE THEIR NEXT SCHEDULED TREATMENT. AND, WE WOULD GET A DIFFERENT PERSON AT THE HOUSE EACH TIME, WHICH MADE ME WONDER IF THEY HAD HIGH EMPLOYEE TURNOVER. THEIR PRICE WAS SURPRISINGLY REASONABLE.

THEY CAME OUT AND TREATED FOR CARPENTER ANTS AND OUR PROBLEM WENT AWAY QUICKLY. AT THAT TIME, WE SIGNED UP FOR A 1 YEAR/QUARTERLY SERVICE PLAN. ALTHOUGH THEY OFTEN SHOWED UP ON TIME, THERE WERE TIMES THAT THEY DIDN'T SHOW. WORSE YET, THEY WOULD STOP BY OFF-SCHEDULE WHEN WE WEREN'T HOME AND SPRAY THE OUTSIDE ONLY. (A HASSLE, BECAUSE WE WERE PAYING FOR INDOOR SPRAYING ALSO WHICH MEANS WE WOULD HAVE TO RESCHEDULE ANOTHER VISIT TO GET THE INSIDE SPRAYED; NOT SURE WHAT SPRAYING OUTSIDE DOES IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER, ANY WAY). ADDITIONALLY, WE HAD ONGOING PROBLEMS WITH BEES OUTSIDE WHICH THEY DID EXTRA SERVICE CALLS TO ADDRESS. IT NEVER REALLY HELPED MUCH OTHER THAN THEY WOULD KNOCK DOWN THE BEES NESTS THAT THEY SAY. ALTOGETHER, THEY DID AN AVERAGE JOB BUT I DIDN'T FIND THEIR WAS ENOUGH VALUE THERE TO RENEW THE CONTRACT.

FRIENDLY RELIABLE SERVICE - JERRY. HE IS VERY TRUST WORTHY. LETS ME KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE BUG WORLD WHEN THE SEASONS CHANGE. INFORMS ME WHAT TO LOOK FOR. IF PROBLEM OCCURS BEFORE HE RETURNS FOR QUARTERLY EXTERMINATION, PROVIDES CELL PHONE SO CLIENTS CAN REACH HIM. SINCE TERMINIX, ANTS HAVE BEEN TO A MINIMUM.

THEY CHARGE PER MONTH OR ANNUALLY (YOU GET A DISCOUNT). THEY COME OUT THE SAME DAY EACH MONTH AND CALL TO LET YOU KNOW AHEAD OF TIME THAT YOU HAVE SCHEDULED SERVICE FOR A PARTICULAR DAY. HOWEVER, THEY SEEM TO HAVE A GREAT TURNOVER IN THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY DO THE WORK.
