Jeff is excellent! Jeff painted our entire interior of our home. I agree with all these other reviews - he's thorough, thoughtful, clean, and uber talented. He has a perfectionist eye to everything he does. He's also amazing at fixing imperfections on walls to restore them to their original beauty. We purchased an older home with a lot of wallpaper removal, chair rails, and some surprise wallpaper behind paint. He was truly excellent making all these walls appear good as new. We also had a lot of people coming and going from our home during this time, and he was almost our eyes and ears of the home during the day. You can trust this person to care for your home, ensure others care for your home, and to be extremely clean and careful with all your items. We can't recommend him enough! Honestly, we kind of miss having him around. He's a delight!

Jeff was very professional, neat, and timely. He only worked on our house the entire time. He gave us a time of when he would start and finish, and he was right on target. He would show up every day to paint, with a good attitude, and then would leave the house very neat and clean. I would definitely recommend Jeff...in fact I have to various people:)

Started promptly and took care of the old ceiling. After measuring and discussion with us an additional panel was required. Jeff provided this at NO ADDITIONAL cost! (A $35 item.) The new ceiling looks great, is easy to maintain, and will be maintenance free. It looks great and we could not ask for better service.

We were pleased. The job was completed in the time projected. I cannot tell where the ceiling damage was. All rooms were left neat and tidy. We would definitely recommend Makkos Painting and plan to hire him again.

Jeff Makkos has done painting for us several times during the past ten years or so. He always does an excellent job. He is prompt, very neat and thorough and he uses quality paint. In all the rooms he has painted for us I have never seen even a speck of paint dripped nor have I ever seen any rough spots on areas where he has done repairs. We're extremely happy with the work he does and we will definitely call him again.

Mr. Makkos did an excellent job. Top quality painting in a timely fashion. We were completely comfortable running errands/working while he worked in our home. I highly recommend. This will be the 4th time using his services. Also, I am unsure of the exact cost for all of the work he has done.

Overall it went better than we had hoped! He started each morning took a lunch break and finished up each evening by cleaning up. Each day he let us know what he planned for that day. He said he finished on the day he had planned to. He worked very hard each day and did soooo much work and we are delighted with the results.

He's very reliable, he's on time. He's just a good contractor. He cleans up after himself, and he's quick, the only this bad is that he's busy. I have recommended him to my brothers.

Jeff arrived on time and put thr painter's tarps down right away. He masked off the woodwork and trim areas. The first day he worked almost the entire day and cleaned up after he was finished. ( We had new carpeting installed a month before the painting project, so we were concerned about accidents). There were no accidents so we were very pleased. The next day he arrived a little later but we agreed to that as he was leaving our house the prior day. He followed the same procedure as the day before carefully covering everything and taping off the woodwork for the 2nd coat of paint on the walls. He was at our home about 1/2 a day.

I try to use contractors in my neighborhood if possible, and got Jeff's name from Angie's List, noting that his address was fairly close by. I explained the job over the phone, and we agreed to a date for him to look at it. He arrived right on time, looked at all the holes, and told me he'd call me the next day with a price. The next day, Jeff did call as he said he would, and I agreed to his price. Since it was a relatively small job for him, he told me he'd fit me in around his bigger jobs, which I also agreed to. Jeff called me a few days later and asked if I'd be home the following Saturday. He showed up right on time and spent several hours working on the job. I was already happy with his work upon his completion that day, but to my surprise, Jeff came back an additional three times to touch up his work and finally to sand it down. By the time he was finished, you could never tell that there had ever been holes in the wall and ceiling. I was impressed by his determination to make the job perfect. When he finished the job, he cleaned up his work area, and didn't leave any kind of mess behind. I complimented Jeff on the obvious pride he takes in his work. A lot of contractors today want to just slap something together and hold their hand out for payment, but Jeff was a breath of fresh air! I highly recommend Jeff if you need him!

He is extremely reasonably priced! He is just a great guy, he really is very very nice and gives Senior discounts. He is just fantastic. He is there when he tells you he will be. I would recommend him to everybody and anybody.
