Description of Work: John/owner and his helper installed about 32 feet of quality 6-inch continous gutter with hidden hangers and a downspout on our back patio cover. John came out the day after I called him to give me an estimate, but couldn't actually do the work for a couple of weeks after--due to other, major jobs he was currently working. Not a big problem for us--and he squeezed us in relatively quickly, giving us ample notice before he came to perform the work. The job took about an hour to complete--high quality workmanship with soldered [not caulked] endcaps on the gutter and downspout connection. The following evening there was a horrendous storm in the Dayton area--lots of wind, rain, and hail. The gutter & downspout handled the deluge well. We are very pleased and would use this small local company again should the need arise. His price was lower than several other companies who provided estimates. Highly recommend South Dayton Spouting & Siding.

+ -1 moreAfter the owner came out to see where the leaks were occurring, he explained why the leaks had occurred and agreed to put more screw in the gutters to make sure they were tight against the siding and roof flashing and to caulk the gutters with a high grade silicone caulking. Company owner me called to say that he had completed that additional work on March 31, 2009.
Description of Work: UPDATE to previous report. Replaced gutters...there was some leakage. After the company owner learned I submitted a report on Angie's List, he was much more responsive to my concerns....the owner did agree to come back out to assess the situation.

+ -1 moreThe service was very fast and efficient. I got an estimate the first week and they were able to schedule me the following week. They were in and out in about 3 hours, including removing the old gutters. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave a mess. Also, they installed hangers every 2 ft, so the gutter has a less of a chance to sag.
Description of Work: Had my gutters replaced with new, seamless gutters and downspouts.
