A Buddy's employee came out and measured the appropriate rooms after I had chosen the flooring. They then presented me with an itemized bill for the service, to which I agreed and paid a down payment of $300. They then said it had to be measured a 2nd time, which it was, and they then said $500 was added on to the cost. I then cancelled the installation. I had taken out their GE credit card to get 12 months same as cash. When I called to cancel the card, I found that they had billed the card with the first agreed-upon amount of $2,575.25 (which was less my $300 payment). This was done on 10/19/10. The date for the installation had been 11/4/10 and 11/5/10. I called very upset. They did remove this from the card and paid my $300 back, but this aggravation delayed the work on my home for 3 weeks while they horsed around. Unbelievably unprofessional and they perpetrated credit card fraud. The state Attorney General would have been the next person contacted, but they hurried and made sure I didn't do that.
