Ernest Harding

Description of Work: Ernest took a $650 deposit from me to do a deck refinishing job. He proceeded to not show up for 20 days and gave every excuse under the sun. Finally he showed up with his 'team' and they proceeded to the worst job I could imagine, I sent all 3 of them away after 90 minutes and now we have to remove the small section they did work on. I do not think any of the people he sent here had ever used a wood stain product and a small child could have done a better job. We are going to have to remove the stain in the areas they applied it. He is now refusing to refund my money. I know for a fact the stain which I kept cost $150 so I am out $500 and have to spend hours trying to fix the damage he did. We became acquainted with Ernest when he was here doing work with the landscaping company we use. It turns out he was let go for not showing up for work and was also misleading us about being allowed to pick up extra jobs like this. He is now going by the name "Handy Man Home Improvement" and has started his own business. Please beware!
