Area-Wide exceeded my expectations. Brian was available for tons of questions and was fast to respond to messages. The quote received was extremely reasonable. I was able to get service around my schedule, the work was quality and done quickly. We even discussed replacement options to fit my budget but I was happy that it wasn't needed (nor was I pressured for the sale). I highly recommend Area-Wide.

Brian first opened the garage door to evaluate where the noise was coming from- which turned out not to be the door itself, but the Liftmaster garage door opener (installed in 2002). Turns out the noise was coming from a worn out gear (an original part) which pulls the chain that lifts and lowers the garage door. After seeing the replacement gear he wanted to put in, I said that sounds expensive. He gave me the price of $160 which included the part, labor and service charge. However, he gave me a 10% discount (senior discount or whatever) which brought the price down to $144, so I was happy. Once the part was installed, the garage door opener put back together and the chain attached, the door was so quiet going up and down. Very pleased with his quick diagnosis and correction to the noisy problem.

From Brian's call ahead today with an approximate 2:30 to 3:30 pm arrival time to wishing him a happy holiday upon leaving, this was one of the most professional and thorough service calls I've had in quite a while. Not knowing much about garage doors and openers, Brian answered my questions while continuing to check our doors. Before leaving, he pointed out a burned out bulb in one of the door openers and asked if I wanted him to replace it while he had the ladder out. I got a new bulb and it was done. By the way, the one slightly noisy garage door purrs up and down now. I am very pleased with Area Wide Garage Door Systems and will use them again if a problem arises or gladly refer them to a neighbor if they have a problem.

I contacted Area Wide early on Monday morning because my garage door had broken on Sunday. The owner, Brian Bowman, was extremely professional, and indicated that he would be able to do the repair yet that day. He gave me a time frame of 2-4 p.m. Brian was prompt, professional and efficient in the repair. I would highly recommend using this company.
