If you are considering
building with ProBuilt the following were areas that really stood out:
     

• Working from a builder spec home (model) and blueprints all changes were very easy and all drawn to our liking, the process was smooth and professional - suggestions were made to assist us with ideas and concepts.·

    

• The building process is well documented.   Working with all the suppliers such as flooring, lighting, cabinets, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, trim was easy and truly allowed for a custom home.  This is a custom builder so you will meet with many local suppliers - experts in their field who make great suggestions and support you in your decisions. 

     

• There are multiple walk through?s where decisions are made on electrical, closets, mirrors and bathroom fixtures, paint colors and progress is reviewed.  ProBuilt has a top notch construction manager that keep us informed, keeps the trades in line and will hold on any item he is unsure of or the trades are unsure of for your clarification.  Much attention to detail was exhibited.  They worked quicklyto get the house enclosed to keep the elements out to protest the raw lumber - I cant say that for many other builders I have seen.

        

• ProBuilt?s staff all have a role to support in the process with very fluid hand-offs to each person in the office.. 

        

• When visiting the home under construction the trades such as the drywall, painters, plumbers, carpenters,

cement, stone masons, were friendly and informative and willing to answer questions.
        

• Good quality products were used throughout the build, this is so important, top rated brands and higher grade items are

common and standard with ProBuilt.  They are relentless on keeping your build clean as possible while being constructed, in addition they don't allow any smoking or food in the house while being built.
        

• The ProBuilt team utilizes IPads to share all information, changes and information.  It is very clear that if you mention to anyone

on the team a change or question it is documented real time on their IPads which virtually eliminates errors as they are sharing one working file that virtually eliminated errors on our build,  we had many changes along the way that were handled flawlessly due to this use of current technology.·        

• After move in support is fantastic, those little items that pop up are continually addressed and fixed immediately.  This is truly a relentless dedication to ensure we are happy and the final product was superior.

 
Suggestions:       

• Plan on blocking out significant time for selections such as tile, wood floor, carpet, lights, trim, appliances, cabinets and the design of the kitchen, plumbing fixtures, external stone, siding and trim colors and materials to mention a few ? you will need to make many of your selections very early in the process so the items are available when they are needed.           

• Include most of the elements of your new home in the initial build agreement ? this will allow for less cash outlay as you add features and enhancements during the process  - which you will!!.  It will be very clear that many amenities you add are a great value during the build and very expensive after - as an example we ended up with about 12 more recessed lights costing a fraction of what it would have costed to add later.

        

• Visit the project often to ensure you have no surprises and you may see something you want added or changed before it can be too late (or much more expensive), they welcome you to visit your project often as another set of eyes on the project will minimize any errors.

The home is very energy efficient!!
