+ -1 moreThe Mentor GLASSMAN and his assistant responded to our call the same day shortly after we reported the broken window and came out to temporarily cover the opening. They soon notified us that the particular model of window was no longer being manufactured and offered to build us a custom-made window. They later came out and installed the new custom window matching the original casement window. They were prompt, professional, and the quality of their work was excellent. We would definitely use their services again, and we would not hesitate to recommend them to others.
Description of Work: Removed broken glass from large casement window sash and installed new double-pane insulated window with argon fill.

Description of Work: We had an appointment last week for Dave Reed to come to our home to provide a quote. He called the day before and rescheduled for today. Today he simply never showed up, and he never returned our call (about 15 minutes after the time he was supposed to be here) to ask if he was still coming. Totally unreliable and unprofessional. Be warned!

+ -1 moreHad received recommendation from acquaintance. Promptly provided estimate upon request. I ordered reduced E / argon fill without a competitive bid. Order completion was estimated to be 5-days. On exactly 5-days, Mentor glass called to make installation appointment. Workmen were pleasant and completed the task cleanly and in about 5 hours including the time to remove the windows, take them to the shop to install the glass and return to install the upgraded windows.
Description of Work: Replace double pane glass in two double windows due to seals broken allowing moisture between the panes.
