Green and Clean took $50 off the quote after I mentioned I was shopping on AL for a good price. David arrived on time and looked and acted professional. Smoke was coming from the bottom of the fireplace, he quickly sweep the flue. There was a loose plate underneath that needed re-attached so David used approximately 3-4 tablespoons of adhesive. ($45 so much for discount.) Afterwards smoke continued to escape so David returned and re-applied a large amount of adhesive which damaged flue parts inside the fireplace. I contacted a different company to make the repairs.

Hello [Member Name Removed], and thank you for the feedback, we do appreciate that! As we explained you few times , you should contact the company that installed your stove since you have warranty on any parts. We eliminated the question whether or not the smoke comes from the flue, so we swept the chimney flue and we built a fire afterwards to see what the problem is. Smoke escaped from the bottom of the fireplace since the part over there was damaged, so the flue is not the issue. We patched the area in the bottom for you with an high heat mortar to see if it helps , which it did, because we made another fire after that with you witnessing and the smoke issue was fortnutally addressed. After few days you called us claiming that the smoke is still coming from the button so we came again, on our expense, to re-patch it, but we kept telling and suggesting you that you have a part damaged and the patching may not help and you need to contact the company that installed the stove for you , which you did and we are happy for that. The mortar ABSOLUTELY did not damaged the part, it's only mortar, you had a damaged part which that was the reason smoke escaped from the bottom... Dave was professional, courteous and rates are reasonable. Our fireplace hasn't been used in years apparently it was covered with insulation and also a piece of plywood was tacked up. Green and clean are very professional and clean (covered our carpet with tarps not to make a mess and cleaned everything up after. The damper repair cost was not as high as we thought and we are very happy we found them. Will be using them in the future too.

The costumer was scheduled for a carpet cleaning service for two rooms for $99 , the date of the appointments was supposed to be on May 24th, 2018, at a window of time 4pm-7pm. Also, we confirmed the appointment two days ahead of time, as we always do. The day of the appointment, our tech, that was supposed to do the job for the customer, had an accident (it can happen and there are things we and nobody can control), that's why we let the customer know right away, at 9 am, and asked him if we can make the appointment earlier than 4pm since we made an arrangement sending a different tech and gave him another option of rescheduling the appointment to a different day and also giving him another discount for the inconvenient. So we found a reasonable solution for the exceptional issue and apologized many times. We take our work and reviews very seriously!
