We are very pleased with the work we had done. Tim took wallpaper off two bathrooms and painted walls and ceilings and baseboards, and other trim and doors in both bathrooms. He was very neat and cleaned up as he worked and before he left each day. He would always arrive on the date and time that he said he would be here. We're both very happy with Tim's excellent work.

It was wonderful!! I couldn't ask for a better job. My husband and I had painted a smaller room and after how long it took us, we didn't want to have to do the 2nd bedroom ourselves. I called Tim and he was able to come to give us a quote. We liked the quote so contracted him. We got lucky he had a cancellation so he was able to squeeze us into his schedule. He was able to get two coats of paint done in one day (we provided paint). It looked perfect and they cleaned up after themselves. My husband was home during the day with them, so when I got home, I had two perfectly painted & fresh feeling rooms. I do want to state that we had already patched all the holes in the two rooms that needed to be patched because we had planned to do the rooms ourselves. That probably helped them to get both rooms done in one day instead of two. They were very professional, on time, did what they said they would do. They estimated it might take them 1 1/2 days, but they were able to get it done in 1. I plan to use them again for future paint jobs.

Tim & his assistant did an excellent job. In a word, they're meticulous. They take great care to ensure that ever surface is cleaned, primed and prepared with precision, and they're brush strokes are pinpoint. They cleanup each day and left our home in the same condition as when they started. Their respect for the client and their home are tremendous.

Tim and Mike did a very nice job! I was impressed by how they always showed up at the agreed time in the morning, and how they cleaned up after themselves each day. They were meticulous with details, and I'm very happy with the results. I would certainly call them again if I need similar work done in my home.

We were very satisfied with their work. They blended an area of ceiling that did not match previously. We had just had new cabinets installed and they did not get even a smudge of paint on them when they trimmed. They came on time and Tim was responsive when we first made the call to him wanting an estimate. They were very receptive to our concerns regarding keeping our house/hardwood steps clean and non-marred. The left over paint cans were the only signs that any work had been done. They do a great job!

We've used Cohen's Painting in the past for interior work, and the quality is always excellent. In addition, Tim Cohen is extremely clean and organized, and he works very efficiently. Highly recommend Cohen's Painting. Excellent quality. My job was somewhat difficult as I had to fire the painters who had done about 50% of the job due to shoddy work. Tim did a great job, reasonable price and quick. I will be using him for more work once we get our tile floor done. He is someone who takes pride in his work and is a real professional.

Tim and his team meticulously covered all my furniture and floors with plastic sheeting so that when they were through there was no drop of paint or even dust show they had been there. They matched the existing color of my walls perfectly, so that the repairs blend into the surround area without being noticeable. Tim also touched up a few areas not included in the original proposal at no extra charge

This is not the first time we have hired Tim Cohen (Cohen Painting and Papering) but because of the quality of his work, we would be remiss in not writing another review. We had two projects completed by Tim this year. The first was the painting of the outside of our house, which basically meant the windows and garage door since our house is brick veneer. The work was done so neatly that the when we had our windows washed, the gentleman who washed them told us that there was not any paint on any of the glass surfaces (he thought that was amazing and so did we). The other project was to improve the look of our 43 year old kitchen cabinets. We did not want to replace the cabinets but after 40+ years of hard wear and tear they were showing their age. Tim and his team lightly sanded the outside surfaces and color matched the areas that were changed by the wear and then varnished the cabinets twice. We are absolutely delighted with the results. Tim Cohen?s work is impeccable and he is completely dedicated to producing an outstanding result. He will leave your home after each day of work as clean and neat as before he started. Tim and his team are friendly, polite and respectful; they are a pleasure to have around. We recommend Cohen Painting and Papering without qualification and he has our complete trust.

Tim is the type of contractor you hope to work with; he was prompt, professional and courteous. Tim was also flexible in working with our schedule and availability. If he had a clarifying question and we weren't available, he would call us to confirm. His work was excellent and he was careful about not leaving any mess behind.

It all went extremely well. They were on time each day and did a top quality job. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Will call them for next painting job.

First of all, they were on time. Secondly their preparation was excellent - they set all their equipment out, reviewed what was to be done, and started the job. Kept me updated as they proceeded. Their work was very clean, they were respectful of both my house and space - and put up with my dogs (who were very interested in what they were doing). I'd hire them again in a New York minute!

Tim and his son do high quality work and are very easy to work with and very professional. Although Tim's quote was not the lowest, we went with him based upon Angie's list reviews and his knowledge and experience. Tim gave us a fixed price quote, which he stuck with, even though he ran into some unanticipated problems with the wallpaper removal. This was one of the reasons we went with Tim. Other contractors would only say that the wallpaper removal would be on a time and materials basis, which leaves the cost open-ended. We were extremely happy with the quality of work and the results. In some rooms where we thought that the ceilings only needed some touchup, Tim painted the entire ceiling for continuity purposes, at no extra charge. We would highly recommend Tim and his son and will utilize them for any future work we have in our family.

Tim and his son (Tim, Jr.) did a fantastic job patching and painting our kitchen and downstairs bathroom. They were punctual, professional, and polite. They were dependable, paid attention to details, and cleaned up every day by the time the kids were coming home from school. We couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommended!

Tim is a genius and we have been using his services for 10 years. I would give him 10 stars out of 5. They were very professional and are not messy at all. They are very particular and do pristine work. They always showed up on time and were great to work with.

Tim was utterly professional and prompt. He told me he would have an estimate to me the next day. Two weeks went by and I had not heard from him so I called him to check on the status. He apologized and told me he would get it to me right away. It has now been 6 weeks and I have not heard from him since. It has left a very negative experience for me.

If you are looking for high quality work at a reasonable cost, you can't go wrong with Cohen's Painting and Papering. Tim Cohen, the owner, does the work himself. He is assisted by his son, Tim, and other employees as needed for the job. This assures that the owner's high standards will be maintained. Tim and his son worked on my project. They were both very professional. They arrived punctually each morning, and were very respectful of my home. They were very neat and clean. They cleaned up before they left for the day each day, and even assured that I had access to my kitchen at lunch time. At the completion of the job, my home was left clean with everything back in place. Tim and his son started by moving and wrapping all my furniture in plastic. They also removed and wrapped window treatments, and removed and moved large wall hangings and mirrors. They then began the extensive repair and prep job, followed by the painting and papering job. Tim and his son were very meticulous throughout the process, and I now have perfect, beautiful walls and ceilings throughout the major living area of my home. I am looking forward to having the team back to complete the rest of my home!

Mr. Cohen responded promptly to our request for a quote. He provided a written quote via email and called afterwards to ask if there were any questions. We had some other contractors on the property the day he scheduled the job but he was able to work with them so that both parties were able to complete their work. He also did a couple little extra things for us which we really appreciated.

They are terrific. I couldn't recommend them enough. They're prompt and very very neat.

The owner promptly provided a quote and explained the type of products he would use and what the finished look would be. Assured us he would be doing the work (no subcontractors). Kept us informed of start date/time; was on the job at the appointed time each day. The owner and son were very meticulous with the prep, painting and assembling the cabinets. They were also friendly and kept us informed of the progress of the project. The area was vacumned up at the end of each day and their equipment was stored neatly over nite in the garage as agreed upon. The cabinets look great...would definitely hire this company again!

I called the office and set up an appointment to get the estimate of removing all the wallpaper in an old house. Tim called me the day before the appointment day to confirm it and I thought everything would go smoothly. Well, guess I was wrong. He didn't show up at the scheduled time. I am usually understandable because every once a while something unexpected could happen. So I called him again a couple times in the next few days and left my contact information in his voice mail. I just hoped that he might be the candidate for helping us out according to his good score at Angie's List. Unfortunately I never heard from him since then.

They are going to come again. I like their professionalism. I will use nobody else except for them. We have been to numerous people but they are not even close to them.

Both Tim and his son were very professional. From the bidding process to completion they were first rate in their approach. Excellent workmanship, obviously very experienced in their work. I would highly recommend this company and would definately use them again.
