Excellent in both cases. Mr. Cohen is very professional in his approach to the work: he returns calls, is timely to appointments and keeps you informed of any changes. The work was done when scheduled and completed early. He is "hands-on" - not just booking the work but was involved in all phases. The quality is excellent. His prices are competitive. He recommends what he believes you need and does not push or "up-sell".

My husband called Tim's business and his cell phone daily for several weeks, leaving messages for him. Tim would NOT return our call. I even left a message telling him I hoped everything was ok with him because I couldn't believe that he wouldn't simply return our call. I told him I had given him a good review and knew people who were looking for wallpaper hangers and couldn't believe he would ignore us. We have never heard from him. Very disappointing to be treated this way after doing business with him.

I was very impressed with all aspects of the work they did. They were clean, friendly and professional. Tim submitted a proposal and all contact after went smoothly. They showed up on time and left everything 'ship-shape' when they left. I will definitely hire them again.

It all went very well. Mr. Cohen did exactly what he said he would do when he said he would do it. He and another experienced painter were here on time--even a little early-- like 7:30 AM. They were both hard workers and liked to see everything done right. Cohen Painting has worker's comp and liability insurance which was very important to me because of the difficulty and risks associated with painting a 19 foot ceiling. The price was very good. I had three other estimates. I recommend Cohen Painting.

Tim did a phenomenal job. It was a small project for him, but he took the time to spread it out over two days to do it right. On a first day he patched little holes in the wall. The next day he was back and hung the paper. The paper had an intricate pattern and a bit of a shimmer, so I was worried because any small defects would have been noticeable. But he truly did an incredible job. The pattern alignment was perfect and even up close to the wall you cannot see the seams. He also papered the outlet covers using the pattern alignment! It would have never even occurred to me to ask for that but it makes a huge difference! It is the perfect accent wall and looks more like mural than wallpaper. So if you are looking for the best, Tim is it.

He is excellent. We have a lot of crown molding and he was very detailed. He cleans up everything really well and is a perfect painter.

Tim did an excellent job. Tim is a complete professional in every aspect of the job. All the surfaces were meticulously prepared, repaired as needed, sanded, primed, and then painted. They sized the wall, hung it and touched up the paint around the painting. I was impressed that both the owner and the installer took the time to read the instructions befor hanging the map. It had them doing the center piece first which in unusual in hanging wall paper. But by doing so, the map with the cuts lined up perfectly. They took the time to touch up paint around the map afterwards. It looks great!

Tim and his crew were punctual, neat, quick and precise. They did beautiful job and cleaned up each day after themselves. I'm never doing my own painting again. Not one drip while they were working - amazing!!!!

Mr Cohen was friendly and accommodated our needs while working and days ending work. The cabinets paint didn't hold up well and chipped easily. He is hard to reach via telephone for responses but does answer his e- mails quicker.

Tim did a great job. He was punctual and completed the work when he said he would. All the rooms look great and they did an excellent job of making sure all the furniture was put back, carpets vacuumed and rooms nice and neat. Tim called a few days before he came to perform task and was right on schedule. He also completed work in a timely fashion with little intrusion to our lives. Tim's work is of high standard. The repair work on my ceiling is impeccable! You cannot tell it was repaired at all and looks like the original ceiling design. My husband and I had requested multiple quotes from him for entire house, interior and exterior. He was fine in allowing us to decide what we wanted done first and when we want to contract it. But we know we'll use him again and again because of his courteous service and reasonable pricing. In fact, he is currently painting the exterior front of our home as I write this!. One last point I'd like to mention. When Tim presented me the bill for our bathroom, he remembered I contracted him through Angie's list. He took it upon himself to give me an additional discount as he advertises and this was without prompting from me. An honest man he is and I highly recommend his services. .

Tim did an excellent job of fixing and painting the water damage areas. He was very friendly and professional. I would definitely hire him to do more work in the future.

We contracted with Cohen's Painting & Papering to fix and update the walls in our Master Bathroom which has about a 13 ft. high peaked ceiling. He stripped the remaining wallpaper that we couldn't reach, cleaned off the wallpaper glue, fixed cracks and holes in the walls and ceiling, and repainted the walls with the three paint colors we had selected. The whole process took 3 uninterrupted days from start to finish. The result is just what we wanted. His workmanship is excellent; there is no evidence that the room was ever wallpapered or that there were any cracks or holes. He took care to make sure that no work dust, etc was tracked into the rest of the house. All debris from the job was taken away and disposed of by him. He and his helper always arrived when scheduled and he always made sure to let us know his schedule for the remaining days of work. We will definitely use his services again when we need to have more interior painting done and would certainly recommend him to anyone who needs a painting or wallpaper job done.

Tim is a true professional. From the first email to the last coat of paint, everything worked exactly as it should have. He did a great job and we were very pleased. You can't go wrong calling him.

Tim is extremely professional and a talented painter. I very much trust him to do excellent work. He painted my entire house in Cleveland heights a couple years ago. He painted the office in my new home and painted the master bedroom with very high ceilings. He is neat, respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. He has always been flexible with scheduling which I really appreciate. He does charge a premium but it is worth it to have someone you know will do great work and you can trust.

Tim and his employee did a great job in our home. The job needed a bit more work than anticipated when we discovered that the wallpaper in our bathroom was never installed correctly by the previous owner and was covering up damaged walls. Tim explained what the problem was, gave us a solution, was upfront and reasonable with price adjustment, and repaired the walls correctly. He did a beautiful job and we are very happy with the results. We highly recommend Cohen's Painting and will use them again!

Great crew and I can't say enough about how pleased I am in the work that Tim and his crew did for me. First the job was quoted for one coat and Tim applied to coats for me with no additional charges. Next I stopped in to see how things were going and the painters found $50.00 dollars left out and they made me aware of it right away. Tim will get all of my painting work in the future.

Ice dams had built up in the back area of our home and melting had caused leakage, which had damaged the walls and ceiling. Mr. Cohen treated the area (sanding, patching, plaster repair), and then painted it. The work, as usual, was impeccable. There is no evidence there was ever an issue in that room.

Time Cohen and his associate came everyday on time to the job site, and straightened up every evening the areas that were worked on. They were very understanding of our 10 month old, 60lbs puppy, who occasionally would run off with their rags!!!! (Thank you Tim for your sense of humor). Very professional job.

He does an excellent job and is always very thorough. He has replaced drywall in several places due to water damage and filled cracks in walls.
