Our furnace install was done professionally. The installers were great. I do not blame any of our problems on the installers. It is their corporate office and lack of concern for issues a customer has that will affect any future customers. They simply do not care. The day after our furnace install we received a text that stated "Anderson Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, and sister company A New Image Heating and Cooling are offering a FLASH BOGO! Valid this week! The Furnace is FREE when you install an AC! Call today for details.". I called immediately because we had expressed an interest in both heat and AC. I asked why we were not offered this BOGO when they knew we were interested in both and the sale was good for the week of our installation. We would have taken this deal and gotten both. I was told by the Mentor office that they were unaware that the sale text was going out and asked if I could give them a few days. The following Monday I did receive a call back and was told they would install our AC for $4,000. The original estimate was about $6,000. So they were offering to take $2,000 off to install the AC. My furnace was $5,695. Is this a deceptive advertising ploy to get another $4,000 out of us? I disagreed with this offer and was given a contact at their home office in Grand Rapids MI. I sent the info to Geoffery Kartes who is their Director of Digital Marketing in MI. That was four weeks ago and I have heard NOTHING from anyone. I even called Mr. Kartes and still did not get a call back. This is apparently a "pass the blame" situation where no one is willing to take responsibility. Associates in the Mentor office agreed with me, one of their associates even encouraged me to escalate my displeasure because he said this has happened before, yet nothing has been done. Maybe if they ignore me I will go away. I will not. I wanted to let potential future customers know this happened. I am also letting the BBB and the Ohio AG know. I was in the unfortunate situation of my air conditioner breaking down the day before Memorial Day and the temperature was in the 90's. I called for service at about 4:15pm as soon as I noticed it wasn't working. The technician said he was not able to come to my home until the next day, Memorial Day because he is not supposed to work once it gets dark outside. He informed me that there will be not just an after hours charge but an additional charge because it was Memorial Day. I don't remember being told it was going to be $250 just to come to my home. When the technician came to my home, he looked at the air conditioner and told me he had to replace a dual capacitor and had to be charged or a tune-up as well. The total cost was $521. This company took advantage of me with it being a holiday with extreme temperatures. I feel absolutely robbed!! I sent a letter and received a phone call by the company. The company tried justifying the outrageous cost, but to me it was pure robbery. There could be no justification in charging $521 for a part that cost only $40 to $60. I would never call this company again....never!

Found the problem and fixed it. Works great.

It went excellent and the technician was on time, personable and worked in a neat manner. He also explained what he did and why and offered other helpful tips regarding the heating and cooling and dehumidifying and humidifying my home through the winter months. Also, they are very pleasant scheduling and reminding me of my appointments.

Prepaid membership in Comfort Club includes annual furnace and humidifier check in the winter and air conditioning check in the summer. Visit was pre-scheduled; technician emailed prior to visit and he arrived on time as scheduled. Work was very professional and the tech answered any questions that I had. Very satisfied with the visit.

Came fairly promptly. Did a basic check of air conditioner (as it's only 2 years old). Answered all my questions and gave us plenty of time. We've used this company for years and bought our appliances from them. Very professional and knowledgeable. We will continue to use their services into the forseeable future. :)

I couldn't believe how much the other contractors were over charging ! They gave me lots of information, warranty and changed the water heater in a fraction of the price others were charging.

I just moved to Mentor and hired this firm because they are a local company. Two men arrived on time, removed our old unit and replaced it with a new Lennox. The men were professional and did a great job. They were patient with my questions and left the area clean as a whistle. I would definitely hire again.

I go with their comfort care service. They are excellent. I would use them again, and I would recommend them to anybody.

One gentleman arrived just before 9 am and brought in all the tools and supplies they would need and put cloth down on the entrance and work areas. Another gentleman arrived just after 9 am and they worked steadily throughout the day to complete the installation. I decided to finally check on them around 3 pm and they were in the process of taping up all the joints to seal the duct work and the work area had already been cleaned. Very professional with a great attitude. I know that they had some problems with the old duct work as I overheard some conversations between the two gentleman on how to handle it; no complaining that it was harder than they thought and the final price was less than the estimate. When does that happen...ever! But they said they quoted some work that didn't need done so they took it off the bill. It was a nice surprise. On a side note this has been installed for about two weeks and the zoning works exactly as promised. If the upstairs hasn't reached the temperature it's set at and the downstairs has then the downstairs dampers shut and all of the air flow goes to the second floor until the thermostat reaches temperature.

I have a contract with them. It doesn’t cost anything because I’m signed up for the year. The quality is very good, excellent. They’re kind of slow getting out here. They will call and tell you they’re going to be here. They call like an hour before they get here. I have used them for 20 years. I think they have to hire more people because if you are on their comfort plan, they did the air conditioning and the furnace. The air conditioning is about a month down the road and you are already in season. When they did the furnace in October or November, you are already in the season. That’s what I would say there.

This particular routine service appointment was excellent as usual, and included in the cost of our service contract. The cost listed below is for our annual service contract that includes seasonal maintenance, discounted service calls, repair discounts, priority service and other services.

As we expected, the hot water heater installation went smoothly. Previously, Anderson Heating and Cooling replaced our whole house AC, and they check our AC and furnace annually. From the people who man the phones to the installers and technicians, we can count on them to respond to our calls quickly, conduct business with the highest degree of professionalism, and provide us with the best service and product to meet our needs. We appreciate their strong work ethic as well as their consistent effort to provide the customer with the best overall experience.

We needed service on our heater and they came and serviced it. They left the area perfect.
