Brian to the rescue! He arrived within 3 hours and got the washer working 40 minutes later, just before my guests arrived. Phew. He is meticulous and made sure everything went back EXACTLY. It was a tough job since this was a stacked washer/dryer and he had to remove the dryer on top.

Very well. My 20+ year-old clothes dryer suddenly stopped heating. I had wet clothes in it and another load finishing up in the washer. I was already trying to figure out the best way to get them dried, since I didn't expect to get a repair person right away. I called Brian, AMB Appliance, whose name I got from Angie's List. He happened to be on a job nearby and offered to come here after that. He did, he fixed the dryer by replacing the heating element and straightening out and tightening the vent. He was very efficient, explained things well, charged a decent price, and even looked at the wringer in the washer as well (he said it was fine). I would highly recommend Brian and AMB.

Brian was very punctual. He brought the correct parts and was in and out in approximately 30 minutes. He advised me that my house valve may need to be replaced as well. He gave me a $15 discount because I found him on Angieslist.

Bryan, the owner & service rep, was very friendly, courteous and explained each step of what he was checking. He sure knew what he was doing, which is obviously what you want. He was honest and fortunately it was a thermal fuse and was the cheapest of the different things that caused the problem. He vacuumed the whole inside of the dryer and repositioned the vent hose. His rates are cheaper than most repair companies. I'm a tipper if a service provided is exceptional which mine was and he said he didn't want it but I forced it on him. What he said he does with them was very touching. He puts the money in an account for his 9 yr old son. He showed me a check for a tip from a customer which he had the customer make it out in his son's name. I am definitely using him again if needed and I'm going to refer him to other people.

Brian was prompt, efficient & professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem & clearly explained what he was doing. He did more than just replace the damaged part, he cleaned & leveled my dryer so it works like new. I would definitely recommend AMB Appliance Repair as well as hire him again!

Outstanding! Brian was able to come within 36 hours to assess the problem. He arrived on time and called before to let me know he was on schedule. When he arrive he removed his shoes and went right to work. After checking out the machine he identified the issue and actually had the part we needed, that in itself is incredible... Smoothly, efficiently, friendly, honestly, and respectfully. Brian came out from Mentor to Shaker Heights twice, exactly when he said he would. The first was the day after we called; he diagnosed the problem and ordered parts; the next was when he replaced the shorted out pieces. He left me the option of saving some labor costs by installing the parts myself, but I agreed to have him install them to make sure it was done right.
