Very thorough and when I called in the morning he came over in the afternoon. Very prompt and did everything he said he would do. Definitely recommend.

Brian was honest, polite and punctual. He quickly diagnosed what was wrong with our washing machine. Given the age of the machine, we decided not to repair.

Brian answered the phone when I called which is always nice. He came out to the house that day and started immediately to check out all the controls and heating elements on the dryer. During checkout the dryer started working. Brian narrowed the problem down to a potentially bad electrical breaker for the dryer or weakening heater element. Since the dryer was working and not wanting to simply replace parts without firm evidence the part was bad Brian offered a return visit if the unit stopped working again. The return visit would not have a labor charge but only a charge for the necessary dryer parts. A very fair deal!! Brian is very personable and explains everything he is doing during his work. A real craftsman that I would use again.

It went excellent! Brian was professional, helpful, and friendly. He went above and beyond to teach me things I should know about my dishwasher. He was honest, helpful, and got the job done.

I was impressed that given the cost of the repair, Brian suggested I consider whether I would rather cancel the repair in favor of buying a new dishwasher. I have had other service people pressure me to do work in similar circumstances.

I was very satisfied with my experience with AMB. Brian was on time, friendly, and very professional. I was having ice build up in my Kenmore Elite refrigerator due to lint blockage in the drain. Brian disassembled the freezer and also showed me how to do it myself if I had the issue again. I was surprised that he was willing to offer me training to help save me money in the future. He did not try to up-sell me on any services and was finished in under an hour. He will be my first phone call if I have other repair needs.

Called Brian on Friday 10/23/15 and made an appointment for Monday 10/26/15 at 3:00pm. Brian called 20 mins out to let me know he was on the way. He was FANTASTIC! Brian encouraged me to stay with him as he worked on the dryer. He wanted to explain what he was doing and made sure to give me an estimate of cost based on all scenarios. I recommend Brian to anyone!

After becoming incredibly annoyed by another repairman who 1) repeatedly missed appointment times, 2) talked my ear off about totally unrelated things, and 3) told me that he would probably have to replace the "motherboard" of my oven in order to repair it, I finally got on Angie's List and found Brian of AMB. Brian responded immediately to my inquiry, found time in the same day to get to my house and look at the problem, and FIXED IT! One day, one minute, ALL DONE. I will call Brian for every single appliance repair job I have from this point forward. Totally reliable, and totally knowledgeable!

Brian was the only contractor who answered when I called on the previous Saturday and then immediately indicated that he was available to swing by and check out my issue on the subsequent Monday. I explained to him that our oven was not lighting most of the time and only occasionally lighting in a very unpredictable way. Upon arriving he diagnosed the issue, identified the igniter as the problem, and demonstrated to me and thoroughly explained why the bad igniter was causing the problem with our oven. He had the replacement part in his truck, removed the old igniter, installed the new one, and demonstrated to me the difference in the performance of the old and new igniters (by showing the difference in the current being drawn). Tested the oven twice and cleaned up and packed up his tools and left. Overall Brian was honest, pleasant to work with, quick to respond, prompt, and efficient in completing the work. I would highly recommend him to anyone on Angie's List.

I called Mark (owner) in the evening on 09/08/2015. We booked the appointment for first thing 09/09/2015. He was very polite, showed up on time, was respectful of my home, made the necessary repairs, and billed a very fair price. As I understand it from my research, most repairmen would have simply patched the leak in the line, but Mark replaced the entire line, which I appreciated. I don't want to have to worry about a failed patch. I would definitely hire AMB Appliance Repair again.

Fantastic service! I called at around noon today, Brian answered the phone. He said he could come out at 2:15 that afternoon. He arrived at 2:30. He took off his shoes and got to work explaining everything to me as he went along. I mentioned my washing machine was acting up and he took a look and fixed it! Bonus for me! He knew exactly what the problem was by my description of the problem and he was right. Brian is very personable and very honest and has fair pricing. I would recommend him to everyone who has an appliance in need of repair. I was quite impressed with his professional, friendly and knowledgeable behavior and am very glad I called him. I will definitely use his services again.

I called early in the day and was told that someone could be here that same day. Brian, the owner, came to do the repair. He was very nice and professional and just needed to make a simple adjustment and the washer was working again. I will definitely give AMB a call for any future appliance repairs, and will recommend them to friends and family.

Three trips out for the one price. First to diagnose and order the part, second to repair, and third to push the unit back a bit so that we could re-install the kickplate. (I probably could have done the latter myself, but I wasn't sure how hard I could push!) Very professional, very careful, very kind. He is our appliance repair person for life!

Brian arrived later than expected due to longer than expected service call ahead of mine. He called to let me know he was delayed. Since he had added my service on to his schedule the day before, I was not concerned. Just an expected possibility when you are the last call of the day. Brian was pleasant and professional, performing all the contracted service plus quickly assessing that the lid switch was the cause of my washer spin cycle not working. A $50 part versus buying a new machine! I am glad I researched the problem online and then talked to Brian before I decided to buy the Laundry Deal to have both machines cleaned and checked thoroughly in addition to the part fix. He did a great job, cleaned the area completely and left it better than he found it. I would use Brian again and feel comfortable recommending him to anyone who needs his services.

His service and timing was very responsive. When you left him a message he was very responsive. Had also pointed out a problem with a new hot water heater that we had just had installed and we were able to get it fixed before we had any carbon monoxide problems.

Brian replaced the heating elements and did a great job of cleaning the entire dryer of old lint. He then made sure that there was no other issues with the dryer that needed attention.

I called the company before purchasing the deal because of a problem I was having with my refrigerator. I knew the nature of the problem and I knew it was not a major issue. I called Angie's to ask a question about AMB's package deal but the rep was unable to answer the question and he could not call the company because it was after business hours. He suggested that I call the company the next morning and provided the contact information. When I called the company I spoke with the owner, Brian. I told him I was a member of Angie's list and explained why I was calling. He was very nice and professional and answered all of my questions. Based on what we discussed, he suggested that I go ahead and purchase the deal so that could get all of my appliances checked and cleaned. Since I also had a problem with two range burners that weren't working properly, I agreed with his suggestion. We scheduled the appointment for the next day since he had another appointment not to far from my area,, and I went online and purchased the Angie's package. Brian came out the next day. This is a one man shop, but Brian is efficient.and professional. He was punctual for our appointment and he explained everything that he was doing. He also provided tips for the disposal and dishwasher and noticed that the disposal latch underneath the sink wasn't properly closed. He cleared ice from the drain line in freezer and vacuumed the refrigerator condenser; tested the oven igniter and temps; checked the range top burners and cleaned/repaired two burners that would not properly light. I now can use all four burners without a problem; he checked the garbage disposal; and provided suggestions regarding a question I had about my dishwasher. I was pleased with the service provided and the price. I would use AMB again.

This was a very good experience. He was customer friendly. He also gave tips on how to keep my machine clean. He also gave me a magnetic business card and pen with his name on it. He also showed me with the cover off the machine some other items to watch for. He came the same day. He was much more helpful than a competitor.

The service was outstanding. First, I was surprised when Brian answered the telephone, as it was late in the evening. My second surprise was he was honest and upfront. He listened to my problem and presented me with options. As the machine was stored for several years, he stated that it might be costly and I should considered replacing the machine. I opted to have him come out and provide an estimate. My third surprise was that Brian was available the very next day. I had called multiple companies that either did not answer, did not call back, or was not available for several days. Brian showed up within the timeframe of the appointment set and was awesome. Brian was very personable and explained everything. Based on his expert advice, I had the repair completed and everything was done within an hour, which included Brian leaving to go get the part. As he worked, he explained everything to make sure that I understood. Brian gave me a Angie's List discount and now my washing machine is working perfectly. I was without a working washing machine for over a month and it sure feels good to go downstairs and wash my own clothes. I don't typically write reviews, but this experience was so positive I just have to. Brian was absolutely fantastic. He was able to schedule me same-day. He talked me through all the issues and possible problems with my washing machine over the phone. I knew what I was getting into before we even scheduled the appointment. Even before he got my business, he was very friendly and professional talking me through my options. He genuinely wanted to help me get this fixed - whether or not it was him who fixed it. I think its important to note that LG customer service pointed me to three companies, all of which are here on Angies List. All three had negative reviews and one had an owner who is defensively responding to all the negative (but honest) reviews. It is terribly unprofessional if you ask me. Moving on, I took it upon myself to find another, different, better servicer because the first three left such a bad impression. Then I found AMB. Again, Brian was great. He tested the machine, figured out the issue and got straight to work. He was very personable, professional, and pleasant. I showed an interest in the repair and he went out of his way to show me what was wrong and how he intended to correct the problem. He promptly fixed the washer and cleaned up after himself. Now for the price. He charged less than quoted on the phone. His price - including parts and labor - was just barely over what LG's recommended company charges just to show up at my door. The complete service by the 'other guy' would have cost me approximately $235. That is $100 more than AMB! Also - AMB's warranty. Its amazing this is not better specified and advertised. First, once the appliance is repaired, AMB guarantees it for 30 days. Anything goes wrong, they fix it in the 30 day window. Next, the specific part they replace - it is guaranteed for 90 days. Last, the labor is guaranteed for 90 days. If they have to come back for any reason in the 90 day window - you're not paying for it. I find that pretty awesome. All in all, I got spectacular service at a better price with AMB. If you're still thinking about it, stop. Call Brian at AMB and get your appliance(s) fixed. I apologize if this review sounds too good to be true. When you get service that is so far over and above what you expected, you get carried away.
