The inspection showed the system to be in excellent condition and resulted in a renewable annual inspection and as needed maintenance service contract as required by Portage County at a very reasonable price of $155.00 per year.

It went well. Both the woman who scheduled the appointment and the service technician were great. I've forgotten their names but both were extremely helpful and informative.

They were totally good, I'd give them an A. They came out when I needed them and gotten the job done in a day. I don't have any complaints at all.

Mack is who serviced my "mound" septic system since we built this home in 2001. They were under contract to do the inspections, change filters, etc. They did that, but being a new septic system owner I was not aware of necessity to pump out the septic tanks every 3 years. My bad for sure, since I likely should have known better, but when I asked the Mack guy he said they don't do that stuff, call someone. REALLY? He was always very polite and did his job very professionally, but never gave me any advice on caring for my system, and they don't do it anyway? I called Supek Septic Services and they were awesome. I told them the problem and they sent a supervisor out who said my tanks were so full of sludge he wasn't sure it was even working as it should. It took him 2 hours to pump sludge from all three tanks, and only the first one should have any sludge, and only a little in 2nd. My 3rd tank had so much sludge I was pumping sludge into my mound and causing possibly irreparable damage to the mound. We won't be able to evaluate the exact extent of the damage until spring, but had Mack Industries been a "full service" septic company I wouldn't be facing the possibility of replacing my mound in only 15 years of service.

After speaking with the receptionist, whose name I have forgotten (sorry!), we came to the conclusion that the noise was probably an unbalanced aerator which I could take care of myself, if I wanted. I did so and saved some money via that route. Furthermore, she knew the details of the septic system that we have and mentioned that there are filters that are supposed to be replaced every 6 months. With that information, we setup an appointment in the next few days. The day of the appointment the Supek rep arrived promptly and proceeded to pump the tank and replace the filter. All in all it took about an hour to complete. He then set up a contract to come out and replace the filter every 6 months and informed me that the next pumping should be done in 3 years (the receptionist had also said this at the time of my call). Great service! Cost for the Filter contract ~$220 Cost for the tank pumping ~$250 (once every 3 years)

Great, appointment was scheduled quickly, within a couple days of calling them. They arrived when they said they would and the cost to pump the tank was exactly what I was quoted.

They were outstanding! I contacted them thru Angie's List merely to let them know that is how I found them. I then called the office, described my problem and was scheduled with a tech that afternoon. The tech arrived, looked at my system, determined the cause and replaced the sump pump. My problem was solved immediately.

Todd arrived on time and did a great job. We've never had a septic system before so this is all new to us. Todd assured us he'd do a thorough inspection and then school us on the system. He did everything he promised and left us feeling secure that we had chosen the right company. He and his son tested the system inside and out and then explained it all to us, step-by-step including what to DO and what NOT to do. Excellent and informative and we would certainly recommend him to anyone who has never had a septic system. Very professional, very good job.

Todd showed up on time met by the relator to let him in, by the time I got there 10 minutes late he had identified serious failure of the system and recommended full replacement. Far better to know before we bought!!! He was extremely knowledgeable and gave advice on how he would approach the situation as a potential home buyer with a faulty septic system, the next steps we needed to take and even advice on being first time septic system owners. If we do go through with this purchase I would definitely consider his company for the new install.

Talked to a woman on the phone. Was abruptly and somewhat rudely told that the provider would not be doing anymore septic tank installations this year. She gave me an estimate over the phone that ranged between 8,000 and 15,000. Ironically, I knew the ball park and have the funds to pay for the install.

I'm giving Supeck an "A" for customer service. Gayle was so friendly and so helpful. We are in the process of purchasing a new home and needed the septic system inspected. Unfortunately we are on a time constraint for inspections and needed someone out pretty quick. Gayle said she had to call her service guy and that she would give me a call back. I have gone through this before where I'm told someone would call me back so I thought that I probably would have to call around now. But true to her word, Gayle called me back with the good news that Bob would be able to meet me in an hour to do the inspection that would take approx. an hour. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Bob as my Real Estate agent met him for me as I was at work. Even though Bob was not able to pass or fail the inspection as the home has not been in use for several months the fact that he was able to come out same day and Gayle's customer service I would definately use their company again. The $240 might seem pricey for some but I rated it fair because it was same day service and within hours of my inital phone call, so I think the price is fair for that service. If I purchase the home, I do plan to use them to pump the septic since it hasn't been pumped since 2006 and to come out in a few months to do another inspection one the system has been in use again after not being in use for a long period of time.

Gayle was extremely helpful when I called Supeck's. She referenced the county files to identify my system and its date of installation while we were on the phone, as this was the first pump-out to schedule, since moving into this older home. Lou was the service technician and he explained the key components of the system to me. Lou recommended one repair to consider within the next year or so. We also discovered my aerator wires were broken and the aerator motor appears damaged after many years of service. Supeck will be contacting me with a quote for a replacement. Thank you.

I found Supeck on Angie's List and was impressed by their reviews. I called and was greeted by an incredibly informative woman, (I forget the name). She spent at least 5 minutes explaining how a septic tank works, since this was my first septic system. She gave me prices for the clean out, of a couple different sizes of tanks. She even looked up in the county records when I last had it serviced. I was so impressed I requested service ASAP since our sewage was backing into the basement if we used a lot of water. In less than 2 hours they were at our house and solved our crisis. Lou, was awesome at explaining everything about a septic system you ever wanted to know. He was clear on what should, and what should not be flushed, or put down a sink. We were used to city sewers and the education was appreciated. The price was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but the professionalism more than made up for it. I HIGHLY recommend Supeck, (and especially Lou), to anyone looking for septic services. I called in February to see if I could get a quote for a septic tank at my new house which was to be built in early spring. I was met with a receptionist who flat out told me they couldn't do it because the ground was frozen. Funny, but we had one of the mildest winters on record. The receptionist also promised a call back from the owner and reluctantly took my number. I never heard back from anyone and found a few companies that were more than willing to do the work as soon as possible. The other companies said the winter was very mild and excavating would not be an issue. Apparently, I called Supeck during vacation time. I cant figure out why such a highly rated company on Angie's List would blow me off. Either that, or the receptionist had a bad day.

This was the second time I had Supeck out to clean my septic system. They are always friendly and responsive. They can't tell you ahead of time when they will be at your house, but you can call in the morning and get an idea of where you are in the schedule. Besides their overall demeanor, the thing I like the most about Supeck is their willingness to support the homeowner in doing certain jobs themselves to help save them money. This year I cleaned my own upflow filter after getting instructions on how to do it from the technician, and saved myself $120. Last year I had a pump go out, and although I bought a replacement from Supeck, they let me install it myself and saved money there, too. I will continue to use Supeck in the future.
