Medina Exteriors and Remodeling

BEWARE!!! I've NEVER posted a reviews but after my experience I felt I needed to! A year ago I got an estimate from Medina Exteriors to have my roof replaced due to a leak. I chose to wait in order to save up the money but had them fix the leak. A year later there was a hail storm and I asked them to come back to look for hail damage. I was told by Brett that he had put up a ladder but didn't see any damage. The day and time he stated he came to the house, My son and I were home due to Covid-19. We never heard a ladder put up and my dogs never barked (and they bark at everything). He didn't call me while outside or even knock at my door to let me know he was there. I had concerns about this "so called assessment" so I had a different company take a look. Sure enough, there was damage to my roof, but there also was damage to the siding and gutters. When I contacted Brett to inform him of my disappointement, I received a negative email that said... "It is what it is and beware that insurance fraud is illegal and is punishable by jail". WOW, I was stunned! I couldn't even believe the owner of a company would out right accuse someone of something like this!! He is actually accusing me of going up on my, VERY STEEP, roof and throwing ice cubes at it, the gutters and my siding! My entire neighborhood is getting new roofs because of that storm. I guess he thinks we all are committing insurance fraud? I am sorry for the negative review but when he accused me of a crime, I felt I had to say something!

Very professional - from quote through project completion. Installation was completed on time. Installers were very meticulous in all aspects of installation and cleanup. Would highly recommend!

Great service, quality and professional. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Had them replace 3 skylights, and are extremely pleased.

They were very professional. Had a little miss communication in the time they were suppose to show up. But they were very apologetic and show up at my door to apologize to me in person. rescheduled and the work was done and completed to my satisfaction. Took the time to see what the problem was or where the leak was coming from. I would hire the, again.

Everything went really smoothly. Setting up an appointment was easy, they called ahead and showed up on time. Were very knowledgeable about my options with the skylights and didn't try to upsell me on anything. Installation went really well also, the crew was timely, neat and courteous. The new skylights are great - no more leaks and much more energy efficient. Would definitely use them for other work in the future.

Everything was handled professionally from scheduling to installation to follow up to make sure I was satisfied with the work. Excellent, neat installation of the new columns.

We met with them at their old showroom / offices and things were slightly messy. I have seen the new showroom and realize we caught them as they were about to move. Bad timing. Based on the professional proposal and the feedback from neighbors that have used them they are clearly qualified contractor.

Brett's team was very professional and did a great job. They kept me informed on what was going to happen when and stayed on schedule. They followed up to make sure everything was completed properly.

They were nice and professional. Took a looked at the windows and their repair crew came and did a good job.

Although Medina Exteriors and Remodeling didn't do the work, Dan was very impressive. He took time to go over all repairs and answer all our questions. I would consider them for a larger job in the future.

All went very well. Would definitely use again.

They were very professional, offered suggestions/options and completed the work on time. The construction was done very well. We have received many compliments on the quality of the work they did. Two neighbors on the street contracted with them for projects following our projects. They were very careful during the construction and cleaned up the site/house well. Kevin and Bryan handled both projects. They were punctual, cleaned up the job site completely and were easy to communicate with about ideas/questions.

They were very vague and we could not pin them down on an exact price other than they kept trying to upsell us (maple cabinets when we asked for oak for example). Subcontractors tended to scatter throughout the house so it was hard for my wife to keep an eye on things. Opted not to use them...just had a bad feeling. We chose village Handyman instead.

Was looking for a steel roof, dan from medina exteriors was the only response. He came to the home and sold my husband! Itand quot;s the caddy of roofs its's expensive, but no more roofs on this house for our life time . It's beautiful and they did everything they said they would dan was there every step of the way.

First visit - reviewed the job and took measurements

We had 4 estimates for the roof replacement. Medina Exteriors was actually the highest estimate, but after talking with Brett, we compared apples-to-apples and actual material used, and were able to come to a revised estimate that was closer to the other estimates. We had work previously done by Medina Exteriors and were pleased with their prior work so we signed a contract with them for the roof. This was in January, and it was estimated it would be 3-4 months before work would begin. Due to the mild winter, work began about 3 weeks later. We have a fairly large roof, and the tear off and replacement was completed in 3 1/2 days. There were a few issues with landscaping and some leakage from the tear-off, but it was handled very well. There are always issues when a job like this is done, the difference with companies is how they handle it, and Medina Exteriors handled everything very well, were very neat and courteous.

We had never done any remodeling like this before. They walked us through the process. They were very good. As we changed our minds, they were very gracious. They accommodated us. I think they did a great job. They were a little more expensive, but I think they were worth it.

I am SOO impressed with them!! They finished the job on our two story colonial in ONE day! They were there when they said they were going to be and they were all very professional!!!

The job was done within the time frame given at the contract signing. The crew was polite and quiet. No loud music playing. The jobsite was cleaned up promptly and properly. The owner came to the house after the job and we went on the roof and inspected the work together. Everything was satisfactory.

All went well with Medina Exteriors. The only delay was due to the weather. The company's president, Brett Ruiz, visited the site several times to review progress and make sure that I was satisfied. The workers were skilled and polite. I had several bids for this work and choose Medina Exteriors because their price was competitive, I've seen their work often in the Medina area, their proposal addressed all my needs and offered viable options, the products were explained to my satisfaction, their workforce was sufficient enough to reduce contingencies related to worker absences and finally, an overall comfort level that I had in this local company.

I haven't yet decided if I'm going to use them or not. The guy who came out seemed to be helpful and knowledgeable. I thought their price is a little high and I'm looking for some more quotes. The experience with the quote was fine. I would consider using their services again in the future.

I met with Brett Ruiz from Medina Exteriors. He was prompt to our appointment and provided a very detailed and professional looking estimate. I chose to use a different contractor because Brett’s price was $3000 higher than another contractor who had nearly identical specifications for his work.

They did a nice job and they did it on budget. They did what they said they would. I didn’t have any problems with them. My experience with them was very good. I have nothing negative to say about them. I recently dealt with them to get an estimate for my kitchen.

They had somebody come out and do measurements and walk around the interior of the attic that they could access. Then they sat down and discussed the quote with us. It was the price. They were leaps and bounds more expensive than any other quotes that we got. They were professional and gave a lot of good information, but it was very expensive. I would definitely use them in the future for a quote, but I am not sure if I would use them for any work.
