Excellent, Dan is a true professional in every sense of the word. He embodies reliability and integrity with true class. Goes above and beyond. We were so delighted with his initial visit that on our next call - he was quick on the phone and listened to our requests - we were able to come to terms nicely. I researched landscape lighting thoroughly and the store bought products don't compare to Dan's. Having worked with many contractors, none compare to Dan. He showed up on time always. Did what he said he would do. Was courteous, experienced and worked quickly and efficiently. Lastly, he went about the work with a passion. We will enjoy our lights for years to come and we feel even better about them because we went with a Litescape by Dan.

Working with Dan was a super experience. He is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He ran into difficulties with our older home but he sorted things out and stuck with the job until it was done. He even refused our offer to compensate him for the extra work.

Dan came out the next day in the snow to investigate why 2 of our LED lights were not working. He isolated the issue and fixed the problem immediately. Dan is the best, very efficient and very kind. He is the best!

Excellent! Dan was quick to respond to my request. We had a major backyard landscape overhaul last year after having approx 20 diseased trees removed. We hired a professional landscaper to bring more design to the existing mess that was created. Our previous woods was transformed into a park like effect surrounding our waterfall. The existing lighting did nothing to accent the backyard, Dan literally transformed the picture showcasing our waterfall, newly installed pine trees and native trees to create a serene peaceful space to enjoy our new landscape in the evenings. Dan was prompt, working within my timeframe and keeping me informed of the project and his schedule up to installation. Thank you Dan...you are the MAN!

Great! Dan responded immediately to my quote request and worked with me by phone and email to arrive at the best solution for my needs. He kept me informed along the way as he was preparing my order. He arrived promptly as scheduled and showed me the work he was doing. He was very helpful in giving me ideas on other lighting and electrical needs! He also showed me (and left me a specially prepared sample) on how I could transform my old system into my own do-it-yourself lighting project in my back courtyard. I appreciated his candor and guidance. He was one of the most friendly and helpful contractors I ever hired.

Superb!!! First off, Dan was extremely responsive and was in constant contact as far as when he could get to the job and the time he would arrive. My job was very small compared to the projects that Dan takes on but you would never know it - he is extremely professional and went above and beyond and took the time to show me how to work the Transformer for my future knowledge. THANK YOU DAN!!!!!!!!!!

Dan replied to our request very quickly. He gave us a detailed estimate within a couple of days and the work was done promptly. His pricing was very competitive. He explained in detail ways we could change the intensity of the lights and gave us a thorough walk through when he was finished. He was professional and very courteous. We love our lighting! We will definitely call Dan again if we do further lighting!

He is extremely knowledgeable about landscape lighting and the finished product exceeded our expectations. in fact, we may have Dan re-do our front yard which was done by another contractor. It went awesome! Dan was great! I had planned on getting several bids, but Dan had such incredible reviews on Angie's list, I just went with him. I gave him all A's except price which I gave a B. In fairness to Dan, I don't really know if he deserved a B instead of an A for price because I didn't get other quotes but it just seemed a little higher than I thought (or perhaps only hoped) it would be. Dan came out to our house in the east suburbs and spent plenty of time with me and my wife understanding what we wanted to do. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and not notice the difference, but I also didn't want to break the bank. Dan understood this and made some suggestions of different light locations and different styles of light to get more out of our system. He had good suggestions and was very easy to work with. We initially didn't have a rush on it, but were gearing up for a big backyard graduation party for our son and Dan squeezed us in early to have it done before the party. He worked with our existing system. He was complimentary of the wiring work done by our original installer instead of being one of those guys that thinks every other contractor does terrible work. He listened to what we wanted, sent us a written estimate within hours and was just great. He came back at night to turn it on to make sure we liked it. It looks great. Somebody broke 2 of the lights by accident during the first month. We thought we would be out $300 to get them replaced but we texted Dan a photo and he jumped into help mode and explained how we could fix them with just a $10 part. He made our day for a second time. Highly recommend Dan! Hard worker, dependable, honest. Wants your business at a reasonable price and doesn't treat you like you are "an interruption" to his work like some contractors. Wish there were more people like him out there.

Dan Husney is amazing. He was so personable and knowledgeable from the start of the conversation. His response time was very short...just a few days. He does all the work himself so he cares about you and your property. He did an amazing job finding the cut wire and replaced several areas of wiring at the same time that he replaced two broken lites with LED. Would you believe he even exaimed and diagnosed my sprinkler problem and told me what company to call and what part I needed replacing on the back flow device to ensure that job was done correctly. He even talked to that irrigation company on the phone for me and explained what the issue was. I’m definitely keeping his card for all my landscape lightening issues.

If only every tradesman I hired to work on my house were like Dan! I can't speak highly enough about his professionalism, expertise and skill. Dan was on time or early for every meeting. He had excellent advice for the design of the lighting display on my home, and got the job done ahead of deadline. And, the finished product was fantastic--just what I was hoping for. As far as I'm concerned, if you are shopping for someone to do this kind of project there is no need to talk to anyone but Dan.
