Guaranteed Appliance Repair Services

Poorly. Would not recommend. Unprofessional and a rip off. $150 visit for 5 minutes to be told he couldn't fix the problem. Disappointed by the service and demeanor of tech.

Worst company I have ever worked with. Do not use! Our LG fridge broke and we paid $150 to be told we needed a new compressor. Not a problem since warranty said it would be covered. We were told someone from the company would reach out to us. A week passed and no one did. My husband had to reach out to them. 3 weeks passed and no one once took the time to reach out to us. My husband had to call each week to find out how much longer until we have a working fridge. On week 3 we were told warranty was approved and they were just waiting on the part and they would contact us when it would arrive. Another week passed and no one did. Finally I reached out and they told me warranty was not approved but they had the part if I wanted to pay out of pocket. They told me Tom was the person who would handle it so I asked to speak to him since LG made it clear that this part would be covered. I was told he would call me and he never did. This company lied to us and wasted our time with no fridge for a month!

I do admit the 1st initial service call the serviceman made was on time and displayed polite behavior and seemed to be skilled but unfortunately he thought he knew what the problem was, but didn't. On the 1st appt he ordered a solenoid part, after that it took me 3 phone calls and 3 scheduled appointments to have that part installed but he never showed for any of the appointments. After the 3rd scheduled time and no show I then called Geig's Appliance who promptly came out and advised me of the problem, a temperature cold control was needed....completely different opinion than Guaranteed Appliance who said an solenoid. Yes a part was needed but not what I was previously advised of by Guaranteed Appliance. Unfortunately the part that was needed was no longer made and could not be found on the internet but he said only adjusting the temperature would work temporiarly... and it did. The freezer had been running in the minus temperature range, but adjusting the cold temperature has temporiarly solved the problem plus other problems that I had forgotten that I had. Now it is 5 months later and the freezer still is running good with no more problems. I've used Guaranteed Appliance several times in the past and always had so-so service but this last circumstance sent me over the edge! I will now always call Geig's Appliance if any repairs are needed for any of my appliances.

Found the problem and concluded that the cost of repair would be very high and recommended we replace rather than repair. I concurred. I found the repairman to be very knowledgeable and professional, I would definitely hire him again. A++

Called in the morning and they were able to squeeze me in after 11. Arrived in a timely fashion. He did not introduce himself when I opened the door only that he was here to fix a refrigerator. He seemed put out by the repair in my opinion. He proceeded to fix the problem and seemed put out that I didn't have a big enough bowl to catch the ice he had to chip away from the bottom. After he completed and explained to me what happened he seemed as he was talking down to me as he explained why it was leaking. I am pleased that he corrected the problem though. I thought the price was high for 20 min of work.

He is excellent and he answers the phone and very reliable and gives quotes.

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS COMPANY FOR 15 YEARS, HAVE NEVER FAILED TO BE PROMPT, PERSONABLE, HONEST, AND REASONABLE. THEY TELL ME WHEN SOMETHING IS WORTH FIXING AND WHEN IT'S TIME TO QUIT AND REPLACE. I COMPLETELY TRUST THEIR WORK AND JUDGMENT.

TOM IS AN EXCELLENT REPAIRMAN WHO HAS ALWAYS DONE A FINE JOB FOR US; HE IS EFFICIENT, PLEASANT, AND CLEAN

WASHING MACHINE BELT WAS BROKEN - CALLED AND THEY SHOWED UP WITHIN TWO HRS. - JACK GAVE TIPS ON HOW TO MAINTAIN OLD MACHINE - VERY POLITE AND CLEAN UP WAS GOOD.
