WOW!!!?Jeff came out to the house and checked the roof and the attic and came to the same conclusion that I had come to and that it was coming in around the stack pipe.After a close look he explained to me that there was a leak where the caulking let go on the stack pipe right under the hood that protects the area from water getting in. He said that it probably only leaks when we get those driving rain storms and the rain can blow up under that hood. He said he could fix it for me even though he didn't have to. I offered to pay him and he said it was not a problem. Now I call that customer service and would recommend this company to anyone.? Thanks Gridiron Guys and Jeff.

This was a great experience!From the initial contact to the estimate all the way through the job done, everyone on the team was very professional and pleasant to work with. The quote I received was very reasonable- I had four quotes and theirs was right in the middle. On the scheduled day for my roof, my home was swarmed with workers. They took care to cover plants, lay tarps, and ensure that my yard was protected. The team tore off three layers in no time. The work was complete within about eight hours, and the roof looks great. I had some damaged wood, and the foreman was great at explaining exactly what was necessary to replace. After the job, my yard was absolutely clean. I found a couple of roofing nails under the dumpster after it was removed, but otherwise the crew did a great job of cleaning up. This may sound goofy, but most of the crew seemed to smoke like chimneys (The smoking was not a big deal), but I was very impressed that there were no butts left on the property when they were through. I would highly recommend this company!

Set up an appointment with Matt to inspect an attic roof and quote out a ridge vent. Turns out a foam ridge vent is already installed, so no new ventilation is required. What really makes this experience exceptional is that this is the second quote from an Angie's List roofing company - the first company said that no ridge vent was in place and quoted $750 to add one. Kudos to Matt and GridIron Guys for honesty and professionalism!

I was extremely pleased with Grid Iron Guys! He completed an inspection of the roof and chimney flashing. He repaired a few shingles that had come loose and repaired the flashing around the chimney that had been leaking. He was very professional, efficient and did not try to pressure me into buying a new roof. I was in the process of trying to sell the house and he told me the roof was still in good shape and would not need to be replaced for several years. I truly appreciated his honesty and the work that he did for me was done quickly and competently. I recommend this company without reservation.

No longer does gutter cleaning @ June 2 2015

They showed up on time and the roof was removed and replaced in one day. The work was very well done and the clean up was great. They did leave the loaded trailer an extra day after the job was completed which did cause a minor inconvenience because it was blocking the garage.

The crew showed up as scheduled and started about 8:AM. The roofing material supplier showed up and placed the new material on site. The dumpster trailer was backed up the drive to the roof. The complete tear off and new ice guard and underlayment protection installed before they broke for lunch. 24 squares of GAF Timberline HD shingles installed and Leaf Relief gutter protection system installed over back and upper front of home. This crew was completed and cleaned up to leave between 4:30PM and 5:PM. One of the owners (Bill) had been on site 3 times during this project and performed a final inspection at 5:PM. Best price from 4 bids meeting my requirements. Provided my request for Proof of liability insurance, Ohio Workman's Compensation, City of Brunswick contractor registration ( bond/insurance) and was required to pull roofing permit from city of Brunswick. It has rained all day today and my roof appears leak free and looks beautiful according to my wife. I would highly recommend this company to my friends, relatives and other homeowners within my HOA. Excellent group of workers on this project.

There were a couple of issues that came up at the end a few months later that we were a little unhappy about but overall somewhat satisfied. Since then we have had the come out a couple of times. They were quick and prompt, they did a good job. They didn't do a good job educating us on some changes they made in the attic on how the ventilation works and we have had mold because of it.

It was good. The gentleman that came over to do it was nice and not pushy. They didn't really follow up to much after the quote. If needed I would probably use them again.

They came out and estimated. They worked with the insurance company. They completed vent work. It took two days for completion. It took a little bit of time to get started because it was right after a big storm and it was a bit busy. They did a good job cleaning up. I have found a few nails, but that's it. We had to go back and forth on billing a few times, so it wasn't completely smooth. I would weigh them against other providers before using them again.

I had rain coming down near my patio door. Matt fixed the problem, stating it was my downspout. He could not get into the gutters to clean because of my leaf guards. He then volunteered to refund my money. I refused the refund. They came out and fixed the problem, so no refund was certainly necessary. I would use Gridiron Guys again in the future. I was really satisfied.

Purchased a Big Deal for the above. Great price for the gutter cleaning an the did a good job. They were very neat an there was no debris on the ground or evidence they were even there. They were very polite and professional. They did recommend more work being done to my roof than I think is necessary, I felt like they were trying to scare me a bit about it's condition but I have no complaints about them.

Had a complete roof year off and replacement, same with gutters. The estimate was professional, accurate and on time (only 1 out of 4 companies that showed up when they said they would). The roof work was done very well, they were honest and hard working. Very clean and polite crew. Great customer service and communication all around. Gutters were done soon after the roof was completed. Work was done quickly, clean up too. Could hardly tell they were here. I have 2 young girls at home, and the crew was very nice to them too (they were curious, of course). I would definitely recommend this company to others, in fact, I already have.

They did a wonderful job putting on my new roof. It looks wonderful. They were incredibly responsive and helpful. They were one of the lowest quotes I received for a new roof (complete tear off). I am very pleased with the product and would certainly recommend them to others.

No repair was needed. Matt did inform me that roof will need to be replaced within 1-2 years. I live in condo so not really applicable for my personal expense.

They were terrific! They were very professional and helpful. I would definitely use them for any other jobs, and would definitely recommend them. They provided me photos of my clogged gutters, a few nails that were missing (which he replaced), and a clogged Radon pipe. He also gave me a quote for gutter guards and I was, again, just overall pleased.

workers arrived at 7:15 am and began working. It was a nine man crew who seemed to work well together. large tarps were used for roof debris. They moved deck chairs and tables, a bike, and a gas grill from second story deck before starting and returned them back to the deck after roofing was completed. clean up was very well done . a magnetic "broom" was used to pick up stray roofing nails from the driveway area. The house is approx. 1700 sq ft and the job was completed in 5 hours! Work noise was quieter than I expected. Am well satisfied with their work. The new roof adds curb appeal to my home.

They didn't complete everything that was covered in the deal. They cleaned my gutters, but I was more interested in the roof inspection and they didn't give me anything for that.

I called Gridiron Guys in a bit of a panic when my father found signs that my roof was leaking. The receptionist I spoke with was very nice and got me in contact with one of their guys in the field in about 15 minutes. He went over to the house that day, identified the problem, quoted me a price, and then came out and fixed it the next day as we were expecting rain over the weekend. He took pictures of the before and after to verfiy that the work had been completed and couldn't have been nicer or more professional. All in all a great experience. I highly recommend these guys!

A very decent job cleaning out our rather extensive gutters on a two-story house. They came out promptly after being called to arrange the service, and I was more than happy to have someone else do the chore late in the Fall. I did not get any report about the roof condition, though. as was expected. But I got my money's worth as it was.

it went well - easy to communicate with - and job done thoroughly. at one point though - one of their staff was walking along the peak of our 3 story roof in the winter- with no protection - it scared me that he could fall.
