+ 0 moreComplete roof tear off (2 layers) with new shingle replacement. Company kept me informed of start date due to weather and other current projects. Crew showed up on time and completed 95% of project that day. Only stopped due to darkness. Came out next day and finished roof. Attention to detail was great. Olvin (head of crew for this job) worked extremely hard to get the work completed correctly. Soffit work was completed a few days later and new gutters followed a day later. Everything looks great! Matt (quoted the job) was easy to work with and answered all of our questions. Would definitely recommend this company.

+ -1 moreHave leaking roof. Called company based on Angie’s List rating and that the listing indicated they operate in my area. Company said they actually don’t, but have a Gridiron Guy at another number who covers my area. Called him and was immediately asked who my insurance company is because recent storm caused lots of roof issues and insurance companies are paying for roof replacement. He promised to call and set up appt to look at our roof and I never heard from him again.

His communication & confirmation of arrival date & time were excellent. The installer went above and beyond. He inspected my roof after installing a vent and discovered a missing cap shingle so he replaced it for us! Kudos to a great team. I will recommend Brian and Gridiron to anyone I know looking for a roof install or repair. PS...I've heard they also install siding!

+ -1 moreOne of the company owners, Bill Lonjak, came o er to troubleshoot a problem we were having with moisture in our attic. Bill was able to quickly diagnose that the original peak vent was not allowing enough airflow and suggested just replacing the peak vent. The Gridiron Guys replaced the vent in one day and left my property cleaner than when they started and for less than I was expecting to pay. Thank you Gridiron Guys for the fast & professional work!

+ -1 moreIt never happened. I am completely disgusted with the lack of respect they had wasting precious time needed before winter to get my roof repaired. All that they needed to do was tell me from the first call that they weren’t interested in doing any roof repair work rather than have me wait 2 weeks to find excuses not to do the job. I could have continued looking for another company. Horrible experience and horrible customer service. I wouldn’t Clinton these guys for anything.
Description of Work: I set an appointment with these guys two weeks ago to come out to give me an estimate on reflashing my roof and repairing a coupe of leaks. The person that I set the appointment with said Matt would be out today at noon. I just got off the phone with Matt who called to ask if we could see the areas from the ground because where he is it’s raining. I told him yes all the areas can be seen from the ground. Then he proceeds to say he just wanted to be honest and let me know that they are 60 jobs backed up and they may not be able to get to it until Dec if they can even get to it then. I told him that I have wait 2 weeks for this appointment and asked him why the man that set the appointment with me didn’t tell me. He said you mean tell you that it’s been raining for two weeks and that we haven’t gotten way behind because of it. I don’t know what’s wrong with companies today. I would NEVER do that to one of my customers. Especially knowing that they have a roof that’s leaking. Btw for the record it has not rained for two weeks straight.

+ -1 moreI understand it’s a busy time of year, but I believe I deserved an answer. I called, explained my “small job” and wa given a mobile number to send photos and a description for an estimate. I did, and never received an answer. I called this morning and was told that for my small job they wouldn’t be available till spring. I understand that, but would have appreciated , at least a courtesy call explaining that they wouldn’t have time till next spring. The treatment I received was unprofessional, in my opinion.

+ -1 moreWhen I requested an appointment with GridIron Guys to get an estimate, I informed the scheduler it was for small vinyl siding repair - in case it was too small for them to do, gave them the opportunity to turn it down. Site visit was performed on 9/17. No estimate was left at my house. One was not emailed to me. No one called to discuss. I waited til Thursday night of that week to contact the office. I received a message the next day from the office, informing me that they'd passed along my message to the person who performed the visit and that he'd get back to me. Another week has gone by. Still no word from anyone regarding this estimate request. I get it - it's a small job. I could completely understand if they came out, looked at the situation and declined the job. That would be fine. However, to do the site visit and then just disappear like smoke in the wind? Not professional. Not acceptable. Don't think I'll be requesting their services again.

+ -1 moreGridiron Guys installed a new roof on my home in the late summer of 2016. i am very happy with the roof. With the roof they proposed installing vented soffits for an additional charge but I opted not to do that at the time. Then, in the spring of 2018 I noticed a problem on my roof that I brought to the attention of the company. I was told when someone was in the area they would stop by and fix the problem. I mentioned that I would like to do the vented soffits now as well. I was told a salesman would come out and review the work and get me on the schedule. Someone did stop out and I told them I wanted to have the work done. Since then, and after repeated phone calls, messages and emails, I’ve heard form no one. My repair still needs to be done and no one has talked to be about doing the vented soffits. Very disappointing.

I called several days later and was told that estimates are typically provided a week after the visit. It has been more than a week and still no estimate. I have therefore chosen a different roofer to do the job. I will provide a review for that roofer when the job is completed.

+ 0 moreInitial visit by owner, Bill, to provide quote for project was excellent. Totally professional. He described in detail re-roofing and choice of shingles, gutters, downspouts, leaf guards, and detailed quote was given at that time in our home. About 7 weeks later we accepted the quote and work began about 2 1/2 weeks later. I would give GridIron Guys an “A” rating except the roofers worked well past dark (full dark, not dusk), finishing up about 10 PM, which bothered my husband (what can they see? How can they do good work in total darkness? Concern for their safety, and clean up in the dark?). Two days later gutters, downspouts and leaf guards were installed—well done. A week later the project manager walked the roof to examine work and we considered the project complete. I should mention dealing with their office was excellent as home sites were provided to view work already done and to help us choose a shingle color. I would recommend them and have already to friends.

Jim even went out of his way to locate some matching Aluminum siding since we were missing some pieces of the original siding, which was 25 years old and not generally stocked anymore. The work was done quickly and professionally. Great job.
Description of Work: We had some localized damage to Aluminum siding and fascia during wind storms in November of 2017. I also needed some fixes to soffit that had come undone.
