They came in, did everything and cleaned up after themselves. They worked quickly as well.

It went very well. They cleaned up nice took consideration of our neighbors as well.

I could not have been happier. Super professional and had the best quoted price in the area. I have already recommended them to at least 8-10 people. They were amazing. My neighbors were astonished that the job was completed so quickly.

It went wonderfully. They had ten men on the roof and completed the job in an afternoon. It was reasonably priced and they also did the gutters.

I am very happy with the job GridIron Guys did. Bill started off the project with a good estimate, explained the scope and price of the job. 18 guys showed up at two o'clock on a Friday and had it finished by eight o'clock. Finished product is great, 10 year warranty is comforting as well. Highly recommended.

I am not happy overall. They were and continue to be quick with communication and easy to deal with. The quality of their work is lacking. We chose them because they were the cheapest bid, which maybe should have been a sign right there. Work was done as scheduled and they were very fast, completely done in a day. The clean-up was almost no existent. They left a few old T-shirts on the lawn and porch, there was lots of old nails in plain sight in the yard and on the driveway (still find some to this day), a few old shingles and various debris lying around, and stacks of unused shingles were left on the porch right in front of the door. Right on the very front of the peak of the awning shingles, a shingle was already partially sticking up (this was extremely visible, anyone looking at the house in any capacity would have noticed it). Less than three years later, we hear a dripping in the walls during a rain storm. We called that day, and the next day they came out to check on it (like I said, communication has never been the problem). Apparently some type of molding we have around our chimney is unique and required a special sealing, which was done either incorrectly and/or using cheap materials, because as they told us, the sealant cracked after three years from the change in temperatures which caused the leak. They fixed it with new stuff that should last 50 years. We also saw that a shingle on the front of the house was sticking up, they fixed that, but not after we saw water damage in the dry wall in our house and signs of excessive moisture in the area. As of now, no new problems. I'm upset that we weren't notified that our chimney area required special attention, and that we should keep an eye out on it, and that they clearly didn't do it right the first time. I'm also upset that we have these problems with a roof less than three year's old. We specifically put the new roof on right after we bought the house so that we WOULDN'T have more water damage. It doesn't make me feel good about the upcoming years. Finally, the front awning only has a drip-edge on one side. They told us it was because a piece of wood trim is missing on the other side, and they couldn't put one on. They told us this just recently when they came back to patch up the roof. First off, why didn't they mention this when they put on the roof, or better yet, during the initial estimate? This is a VERY easy to see part of the front house. They put on lots of replacement wood during installation, maybe we could have had them fix it then. Instead, nothing. Secondly, I remember right after the finished that it looked odd. After they told us why the drip edge wasn't on, I went back and found an old photo of the house before they new roof. Sure enough, no wood piece missing. Seems like they tore off the piece somewhere in the process, which is why they wouldn't have mentioned it during the estimate. This was our first time dealing with roofers, and looking back I see some mistakes we made that could've saved us some headaches. But, this still was sloppy work regardless of whether or not we were vocal about complaining about things.

They did a great job. Work with us on a few minor issues and made repairs without question. Nice to work with and stand behind their work.

They ended up doing the job cheaper than anybody else. They did a very good, fast job. I was totally amazed at how fast they were and how efficient they were. In half a day they stripped it and did a whole new roof, in about four hours. There were about 20 guys working on the roof and everybody was like clockwork. Everybody knew what they had to do. They got up there, they worked in such teamwork and unison I couldn't believe it.

The ripped off the old part and installed the new roofing material. They had 10 guys come out and were finished in a little over 2 1/2 hours. We thought this company was very reasonable compared to other quotes we received. This company is the best company we ever hired!

Bill Lonjak visited my house to assess the work and provide an estimate. He made an appointment for just a few days after I called and arrived at the agreed to time. He was very helpful in describing what his company would do and how they would accomplish the work. Even though his estimate was the lowest of all the estimates that I received, I chose to go with another bidder because his estimate was very short on detail. His estimate form had only 8 items of work of which he only used 6 in my estimate. Other bidders documented dozens of things that they would do.

Very well for the both. The roofers came out early (about 20 workers) and were done with the tear-off, new roof and clean up by 12:30 in the afternoon. The siding was done by one worker who installed vinyl siding on the entire house, including all the trim and vinyl shutters. Work was done in about 3 days. We were very pleased with the products, the work and the value provided for what we paid.

I liked everything about them. They came out quickly for giving the estimate. They were informative. The man who came out was a former math teacher. He explained everything to me. They came out when they said they were going to come out. There were 20 workers on our roof. They finished the job in one day. They cleaned up after themselves. Everything about them was great. I have already referred them to others.

Initial estimate and sales call was impressive. I was concerned about some sections of wood needed replaced. I also wanted to have some bathroom vents installed in the soffets, which I was told were not very expensive. This part of the conversation never was communicated to the work crew. They never replaced any wood, which some other quotes suggested that some of the wood needed replaced. I asked the crew as they started to put down the new shingles about the condition of the wood and they said it was fine. I'm concerned if the other companies were lying or these guys were in a hurry and wanted to finish. I guess I'll never know the real truth, but the roof itself looks real good. They spent a fair amount of time cleaning up, but I still found old nails (approx. 20-25) as well as some unused new nails still in the wire raps. I would give the the roof job and A, but cleanup a B. I put more value on the roof itself than the clean up. They were much cheaper than 5 other quotes and I figured to save around $1,500 by using them. I had no problem spending an hour doing touch up clean up. I had to put my gutter screens back in and I found alot of junk like nails and pieces of the old roof in them. I got no follow-up sales call to see if I was satisfied. The invoice was stuck in my door and the crew left. They charged the exact amount of the estimate. I suspect that the invoice was cut before the job was started, which is why I'm concerned that the wood issue may have been overlooked by them. They warrant the roof the be leak-proof for 10 years, so I'm hoping the the wood issue was overstated by the other estimates and Grid Iron guys truly felt that the wood was in good shape.

They showed up on time for the extimate. They came when they said they would to do the work. Finished it quickly and when they were done they cleaned up everything. They were neatly dressed, they was no smoking or swearing.

Initial interview and all return telephone calls were punctual and professional. There were several discussions with Bill regarding ventialtion concerns on part of the house (low slope roof portion). We were assured each time by Bill the ventilation on the low slope roof would be evaluated and corrective actions taken if possible. Brett (supervisor) was completely unaware of these previous discussions and thus was unprepared to address the concerns the day of the job. On previous conversations we also emphasized our concerns of having no cigarettes left in the lawn (due to our children). We were initially told workers due not smoke on the work site. Workers do smoke on the work site and left many cigarettes in the lawn. We even found a cigarette along with a staple used to attached the felt in the attic (see attached photograph). Overall clean-up was extremely poor. Cigarettes, many roofing nails (see attached photograph), many screws, and a large amount of old shingles were not cleaned/picked up. We had concerns regarding one area of siding and shingles. Brett was very prompt in addressing and evaluating this area of concern. The area of concern was pre-existing and not related to any work Grid Iron Guys performed. Overall we are happy with the work and roof itself. However we were very disappointed with apparent lack of communication between Bill and Brett (supervisor) and the clean-up.

Bill came to give me the estimate and explain what they were going to do and he told me how they differ from the other guys. I know nothing about roofing but felt very informed about the process. The day of the job Brett showed up with his crew of about 10-15 guys. I couldn't believe how quickly they got the job done. By 2 or 3 in the afternoon, they were done and gone. They did a FANTASTIC job of cleaning up. I have yet to find a nail in a flowerbed. I liked the fact that I didn't have to pay them until after the job was complete and I was satisfied. The roof looks great.

I was not very happy with their services. They said it will be finished in two days; however, it took a month to finish the work. They did not clean the mess properly after the work was done and I had to call them couple of times to get someone to clean it up.

The salesmanship was very professional, with a detailed quote and description of company history. I am glad that he recommended the roofing material that we selected. The workmanship was impressive and complete in one day, except for some details that were finished the next day. In fact, as they were tearing off the roof, I asked if I could replace my skylight too, which was not in the quote. They agreed and installed it for the cost of the skylight. They even had a guy go to Lowe's to pick it up. Excellent service.

Grid Iron Guys were fine. They came out and had everything one in a matter of 6 hours. We were very satisfied with them, but the gutter guys they brought out were terrible, which is a reflection on Grid Iron because they were the ones who contracted out.

When we first contacted Gird Iron Guys for an estimate on a small repair, they failed to stop by the house to review the opportunity despite being local and working down the street from our house. Weeks later we spoke again, Gird Iron Guys finally stopped by and we agreed to the firm's quote with the understanding that the job didn't require a full crew but we would be scheduled soon. Never heard from them again.

Bill came out and gave the estimate. He makes sure you feel comfortable with their company and the products they use. Due to weather concerns they had to split the job into two days, which Bill actually apologized for. The clean up was so good you would have never known my roof was being worked on. They covered the landscaping where necessary. Bill also called to make sure I was satisfied with how the roof looks. They had a better price and better materials than two quotes I received from people who do roofs as side jobs.

We Had seen ad in local newspaper and a friend had them do their roof. We saw the work & were impressed although they asked us to let them come 1 week later, they were prompt, came with a full crew tore off & replaced total roof on house and garage & cleaned up great. Everyone was friendly, No bad language. They knew what their job was and did it.

They arrived on a Friday morning. They began to tear off and by the end of the day had half the roof done. They returned promptly on Saturday to complete the job and do a thorough clean-up. Because there was snow on the ground Brett said they would be back when it melted to run the magnet on the bare ground in case they had missed any nails.

Contractor did a great job removing old roof and installing new dimensional shingles.
