Repairs went well. We took the snowblowers in for repairs early in the season. The snow blowers are working good.

Bob called me back and explained he had found the issue and that there would be no charge as there were no other repairs required. very grateful and will definitely call again for any future equipment issues!

The repair went fine, but I had this done towards the end of the season, so time will tell if the price they charged was worth the amount of mowing time I'll get our of it. The shop does NOT accept credit cards, so come with cash or check.

I've used Bob's two times, and both were great experiences. A few years ago, I had a mower repaired (they picked it up, repaired it, and returned it, good as new). This week, I stopped in with my gas blower that wasn't working well and wasn't going to clean up the leaves that will be down soon enough. Bob fixed it himself in less than 5 minutes and when I asked how much for the repair (which was a simple fix but not something I would have known to do), he said it was on the house. Talk about a way to build loyalty! As a result, I later brought another piece of equipment (an old chipper/shredder/vac) to be tuned up.

They tuned up my 20 year old snow blower and replaced the bottom scraper, along with tuning the carburetor, replacing the spark plug, etc.. I took it back because it seemed a little sluggish and Bob got right on it that same day and had it tuned in a couple of hours! Bob couldn't have been any nicer or more professional, and really cared about 'making things right' with the customer. I would definitely take a mower or snow blower to Bob for service.

He was very good. I'd recommend him to anyone. Anything with a small engine in it, he's the guy!

Self-propelled function on lawn mower quit working. Bob's Mowers tore transmission apart, replaced bearing and re-greased. After first use at home it was still not working quite right and returned to provider. He made additional necessary repairs (at no additional cost) and it has worked fine ever since.

The mower sat out all winter because we couldn't get it to roll, everything was frozen. Bob picked it up within 24 hours of me calling and had it completely repaired and returned by the end of the week. Everyone at his business was friendly and cooperative. After using the mower for the first time, the mower stopped operating. I called Bob and he picked it up that day. The problem was a switch and was unrelated to the first incident. He picked it up, replaced the switch and dropped the mower back off for no charge. I would and will be using them again.

Only service performed was an inspection.

Awesome. When I took these items in, the YardVac would not start, the snowthrower would not maintain a constant RPM, and the chainsaw seemed to be stuck on full throttle. I received a call in less than a week that all three items were ready for pick-up. When I went in top pick these up, Bob started each one to demonstarte that they were now working properly. When I asked for an additional adjustment on the snowthrower, he took care of it on the spot. I have not used the snowthrower or chainsaw yet, but the YardVac runs great!. I was able to blow the leaves from both my yard and the neighbors yard in less than a half hour.

Bob and Bob's Mowers and More are fantastic. He is very knowledgeable and keeps you informed every step of the way. He came in, picked up our lawn mower, and had it repaired and back to us within 3 days. He even picked it up on a Friday and worked on it over the week-end so we could have it back to us quicker. Bob did not charge us any extra fees because he worked on it over the week-end, he just did it because that is he kind of business he runs. He ought to give a seminar on customer service - he obviously knows that customer service is the most important thing to a consumer (although his prices are very reasonable also). Thanks for making us believe there are actually business owners out there that care about their customers. I would definitely recommend him if you need a lawn mower or other small engine repair done. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and keeps you informed. You can't ask for more than that. Bob will get your repair done quickly, at a reasonable price, and with you fully informed during the entire process. You will not be disappointed.

I selected Bob's Mowers primarily based on the amazing reviews. And now I understand why they are so amazing. When I first talked to Bob (by phone), I felt like he was an old friend that I just met. Even though it was a minor repair, he made me feel like I was his most important customer. Bob sent two young men to my house to pick up the mower, and the friendly and knowledgeable service continued. It has been a very positive experience. "I'll give you a good price if you give me a good review on Angie's list." Maintenance and repair was done in a timely fashion and I had my snowblower back at home before the first snow. However, the repair cost $270 almost half of what I paid for it NEW. And still today the snowblower works, but it doesn't clean the snow like it did before. But most of all, Bob had an attitude that made me feel as if he was doing me a favor when in fact he was doing the work I could probably have done somewhere else at a lower price. Don't get me wrong, the snowblower works, and it was done promptly. But I didn't care for the attitude nor the price. And I won't go back. My price should have nothing to do with Angieslist.....up or down. And for customer like me that is loyal and keeps people like him in business, I didn't think he was very appreciative. BTW, I have used many Angieslist providers and have never left a negative review.

I took the mower over to Bob's shop and I explained the problem to him. He asked me a few questions and took a look at the mower. It only took him a few minutes to figure out what the problem was and fixed it. It was so quick and easy. He was such an easy man to work with; very professional and so helpful. The amount I paid him was minimal. I will call Bob again if I ever have a problem with the mower, or when it needs a tuneup. He gets an A plus rating from me.

His truck came on the Monday morning, took a cash down-payment of $50, and took the tractor away. I hoped to be able to get it back in four days, by Friday, and the driver said that there was always a chance. Lo and behold, I received a call just after noon on the next day, Tuesday, telling me that the work was finished and the tractor could be delivered that afternoon! The driver brought it back by 5 PM, and it looked very clean and the deck was back at normal height. When I mowed the lawn on Thursday, the machine cut like a charm; the sharpened blades, cutting at the correct height, made all the difference. I would gladly use Bob's again for service or repair to my mower.

Bob's picked up our riding mower & did a complete tune-up on it, changing out filters, replacing blades, replacing the battery, & dropped it back off on a Friday. Went out Saturday morning to mow, & it died again. Needless to say, I wasn't very happy after $374. I called them to report it, they said they'd have to come get it on Mon or Tues ... but ended up picking it back up on Sat, finding the issue, fixing it, & dropping it back off - all at no charge & much earlier than expected. Nice recovery! I would call them again due to that customer service!

They did a great job on that repair but broke off the plastic throttle handle.

We were trying to prepare our garden patch on the only day we had to work on it, and pulled out the old Mantis tiller. Try as we might, be couldn't get it started, so we began looking for someone nearby who could fix it. We went to Angies List, found Bob's Mowers recommended, called him, and told him our predicament. He told me to bring it in. As soon as I got there, the owner stopped what he was doing, assigned others to that work, and immediately assessed the Mantis, discovered what was wrong, went to the phone, ordered the parts, and then began taking the faulty parts off the Mantis. When the new parts arrived, he installed them, and tested the machine. It started right up; he cleaned and oiled a couple more things, then gave it back to me, told me how much, took my money, and sent me and my Mantis back home to work on the garden. Couldn't have been faster, more professional, or more accommodating. I was very impressed. Do I recommend him? Absolutely. Couldn't have been any more competent or efficient when it came to repairing Mantis tillers, which I am sure he doesn't see that often.
