They were really good. They were prompt. They moved the furniture back when they were done. They did a nice job it was very nice.

The finished product is outstanding for the money! I would caution homeowners to be patient and not worry the first couple of days. It seems like there is an insurmountable amount of work and that there is no way its all going to be completed in a week. You quickly realize that it all comes together quickly at the end. Our carpenter, Rick, was great and addressed all concerns in a timely manner. Jason, the owner, problem solved and remedied some minor complaints quickly. Overall, very happy with the service and final product.

Overall it was a good experience. Brandon was on time or always called if he was going to be late. The quality of the work is excellent and he did a nice job cleaning up after he was finished. Our salesperson Mary Jo followed up after the job was complete to make sure we were happy with the results.

We absolutely love our new kitchen. Everyone we worked with at American Wood Reface was professional and a pleasure to work with. Mary Jo provided us with the initial estimate. She was easy to work with and gave us a number of different options and some great ideas we hadn?t thought of. As we made some changes along the way, she always gave us an updated cost before the work started. Our carpenter was Terry. His work was outstanding. Very professional, hardworking, and a perfectionist. He worked on both Saturdays to ensure the work was completed in the 2-week estimate. On the final day, the last thing that had to be installed was the slide in range. Unfortunately the range height was taller than the counter height. Even though it was my fault for not measuring correctly and he was under no obligation, he worked over 3 hours more to find a solution. Just couldn?t be more pleased with his work. Every whose seen our kitchen has raved about it. The attached pictures show the before and after kitchen. Note: the cutout wall above the range was done by a different company.

We are very happy with the experience. Jason Hicks arrived on time for his initial (and all subsequent) appointment and was professional in all aspects of his presentation. He went over and above to accommodate my wishes. His employee who did the work was also professional, on time, an expert craftsman, and personable. We would certainly use Jason Hicks again and recommend him to others seeking the same remodel.

This went even better than I was expecting because my carpenter (Pat) was able to do all of the cutting and sawing and most of the sanding in my driveway and attached garage, so no tarps covering everything including the doorway. Pat finished in 4 days instead of the expected 5 and the end result was everything I'd hoped for and more. My 1950's cupboards had catapulted into the 21st century (see my before and after pictures) and Pat was meticulous in everything he did, including clean-up every day before he left. Every door is perfectly straight and plumb, cornices mitered exactly the way they should be, every seam on the facing perfect, and every inch of the exterior of every cupboard covered in such a way that you'd never know that they had been refaced and not replaced. . This is not your parents' refacing. No veneer, no plastic, no painted particle board. For me it was a great alternative to replacing all my cupboards and it was much easier on my budget.

Mr. Brandon did a wonderful and conscientious job. He was on time, respectful, and cleaned up daily. I would highly recommend American Wood Reface. Great quality and very reasonably priced.

We had seen the expert craftsmanship of Terry on two other jobs. He did previous to ours, so we asked Terry for our work and he was assigned to our job. He worked timely for six days. He is meticulous and does outstanding work.

The experience was wonderful from the beginning to end and I love my new kitchen! Every person that we dealt with was professional, friendly, and knowledgable. I took a considerable time making my decisions and they were always patient. Ben walked us through each step in the process & helped talk us through our options. Terry did amazing work when he was here. The additional cabinets that they built for us are solid wood and match the resurfaced cabinets beautifully! All of our friends and family are impressed by the results and a friend's mother is already working with them.

Began project on time. Professional management & carpenter. Due to illness (carpenter) work delayed 2 x thru 10 day (instaed of 5). Compressor very loud, dust extensive, & acetate fumes overwhelming. Hours ran to 8pm, 2 nights & all day Sat. and Sun. Returned for 2 corrections, delayed 3 weeks'

Brandon was our carpenter. He was meticulous and a true craftsman. (I would ask for him specifically if I were to use them again). We love our "new" kitchen.

The installation took 4 full days, the workman sealed off the area because there is a considerable amount of sawdust. The workmanship was excellent, and the quality of the products is exceptional. When we wanted to put rollouts in some of our cabinets, Jason instead recommended that we convert them to rollout drawers and at no additional charge. We took his suggestion and are very glad we did. They came out beautiful. Also, Jason helped us design our bar panel which really added elegance to our cabinetry. Our cabinets turned out beautifully, they look like brand new cabinets at a fraction of the cost. We also had a quote from another company that did refacing whose price was a little less but in their quote they did not replace the drawer boxes, just the fronts and they used a veneer facing instead of the 1/4" facing that American Wood Reface uses. In addition, American Reface nails and glues the facing instead of using only glue.

It was pretty good. It was a good product and it had a good warranty. They were on time and they cleaned up well. The price wasn't bad.

Terry did an excellent job; he worked to make sure the counter top was level and moved the cabinet above the stove so that there was more space for the electrical outlets. He did a terrific job cleaning up after the job was done. We really like our new kitchen.

Salesman was professional. Even mailed a sample out before the job to make sure the color choice is what I wanted. It was not and they worked with me to make sure I was happy with the color of maple I selected. Made sure everything was in place before ordering the wood. Their office is wonderful to deal with. Price was good. Home Depot gave us an estimate of $11,000 and American Wood Reface did the job for $6,000. The carpenter "Brandon" was a real craftsman. It took him five days we had a lot of work. He refaced all - replaced all the doors and hardware. Put everything back in place even new dishwasher (reworked the space so my new dishwasher would fit) no extra charge - cleaned up each day before he left. Brandon was polite and professional. I could not believe what a beautiful kitchen I have. I am so pleased with the quality of their work!

We were very pleased with everyone involved at American Wood Reface. Mary is wonderful to work with and was very patient with the multiple changes I made to the countertop style and color and to the backsplash. Our cabinets were 3 different heights by the stove, sink and refrigerator. Brandon did a great job of raising those by the stove and sink to make them all standard height. The owner, Jason, was very responsive to any concerns we had and answered all of our questions. My kitchen looks like I had brand new cabinets installed and I am very happy with the results.

From our very first meeting with MaryJo we were treated with the most professional quality service. We were interested in refacing our kitchen cabinets, and installing granite countertops. Mary provided great ideas and expert advice. We had spoken to two other companies and we agreed after Mary presented us with her ideas there was no other company but American Wood Reface for our kitchen. We signed our contract set an installment date and the crew arrived on time and ready to work. Within 4 days our kitchen was completed on time and the quality of the workmanship is EXCELLENT. We got to know the crew quite well while they were working on the kitchen. They understood how excited we were for the kitchen to be finished. I received a call from Rick our lead carpentary telling me how wonderful it looked and wondered if I had arrived home to see the kitchen. The personal touch that Jason, MaryJo and Rick and his crew provided us was professional and greatly appreciated. It was a wonderful experience for us to work with American Wood Reface and we highly recommend their services.

i found american wood reface at akron home show. very lucky. saleswoman listened to what i had in mind made a few suggestions(ie: my elderly mother might get her arthritic hands caught in the hardware i wanted/ and had never considered problematic-big thanks) not hurried to pick out wood, hardware,or laminate the carpenter Terry was great, worked hard answered any questions i had. always cleaned up after the day. excellent experience. would not hesitate to call again or recommend this company. as i said, i was lucky enough to find this company before i joined angies list, but was not surprised to see them on it.
