Arrangements were made a week in advance to treat a property for fleas on 8/17 between 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM. The technician was a no show. We called advise the tech was a no show and to find out what time they planned to be at the property. We were advised that they tried to schedule the morning appointment, but no one was available until the afternoon between 1 PM - 3 PM. Thanks for the call Terminix! Not! We waited for the technician to arrive for the rescheduled appointment. We waited until 5 PM. The tech was a no show again. Thanks again for the phone call Terminix! We called Terminix to find out what the problem was. The person on the other side of line said that the tech should have made the appointment; she had a real knack for the obvious; and gave us his phone number. After the second attempt to reach the tech he answered the phone. He told us that yes, he had us in his appointment book, but we were out of his area and didnt know why they gave it to him. He said he called his Area Rep and told him to handle the issue and have someone else make the appointment. They didn't. We then called Terminix to resolve the issue and find out when they planned to keep their appointment. After explaining the situation, the support person said she was going to talk to someone and asked us to hold, she would be right back. Wrong! We hung up after being on hold for 15 minutes. So we called Terminix again, got a different support person, explained the situation again, and added the aggravation of being on hold for 15 minutes. She advised that she was going to transfer us to someone in scheduling, because I lost it when she told us the earliest they could reschedule the appointment was a week out, and to hold, again. Guess what happened? We hung up after being on hold for 15 minuted again!! I would never use this company, even if they were the last exterminator on the planet and we were infested with bugs in Biblical proportions!!

We have used Terminix for years (approximately 10), but they have become less accessible and less concerned about customer needs and concerns. It is near impossible to call my Terminix local office directly - can only can get to a call center with wait times that are too long and employees that have little information except to make appointments. The prices have also gone up from near $80 to over $100 for standard quarterly pest control. The last 3 times I have had a scheduled service, the service provider came outside of the scheduled time, and I left work to be at the scheduled time. There was no follow up from Terminix after the last missed appointment.

They always put on their paper boots and all that so that they're not tracking dirt throughout the house. Our interactions with them is very good. Their work is fine.

My technician, Kevin, is very reliable, profession, educational, efficient and friendly. Anytime I've asked questions is always more than willing to take the time to explain the answer to me. I do not hesitate to recommend Terminix.

The provider answered all of my questions. They come out every six months and take care of it.

I had read reviews about them on Angie's List. They were very nice. They seemed to know what they were doing. They did a good job. The price was expensive. I don't know how the service is yet because they recently did the service. They were responsive. If it works, I will continue to use them.

They were wonderful. They did everything we wanted them to do. They were very willing to come out and do more if we weren't satisfied. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them. The customer is number one with them. They give me an approximation of when they're coming and they're always there. If they're going to be a little late or a little earlier, they always call and let me know. I'm happy with their service.

They were a little late, but hey, it's winter and they had a drive of 40 or more miles. My appointment for their arrival was made about a week before and we've had some different weather since. When they were done with the inside work and went outside to do the home and garage perimeters they had to quit. Their hoses as well as the ground were frozen solid and they could not finish the job.They were very apologetic, and almost embarrassed, that they could not complete the work. They left with the promise that as soon as it warmed up some they'd schedule another appointment and finish off the job. Their documentation is very detailed.

Went extremely well. Increased bug and spider activity immediately after, however 2-3 days later little to no activity.

Returned all calls promplty, answered all our questions. Our only complaint, was that the technician came early, as we wanted to be there when he performed the service. Since they came early we were not able to be there. But, in follow-up phone conversations, we got all of our questions answered.

We found cicada wasps flying under our shed and called to have them exterminated. We last had this problem about 5 years ago and used this company. I called them on 8/28 and left a message on their answering machine. When the office lady returned my call she said would set us up for service the next afternoon. I had to reschedule an appointment in order to accommodate them but felt it was important to get the exterminator out as soon as possible. I needed to be there since the wasps were under our shed and I needed to unlock it so the doors could be opened for easy access for the exterminator. I was home all day and no one came. I contacted the company a little after 5PM to see if they were still going to show up and was told that I was on Ken's list to have the work done, but they couldn't tell me what time he would be there - just that they were very busy. I was given Ken's phone number to contact to see if he could tell me when he would be there. He didn't answer his phone. The next morning I called Ernie's again and asked the lady why they hadn't showed up. She checked and said I wasn't on her list of jobs that were to have been done on 8/29. I had given all the correct information to the company on 8/28 i.e. where we lived and best contact number. I was told that the lady who worked on 8/28 didn't always put the information on the system but maybe had given the info to Ken. I was told to call Ken. I tried and left a message but he didn't contact us or leave a message. (I feel the office person should have contacted him instead of telling me to do this.) So either the clerk didn't pass on the job or the exterminator didn't bother to let me know he wasn't coming, All in all - this was a learning experience. After waiting for the exterminator to call or leave a message, I contacted Frame's on the afternoon of 8/30 and they arranged for an exterminator on come out on 9/3 between 11 am and 2 pm. What a difference on how they handled my call. Needless to say, I won't be calling Ernie's for service again. They may be a good exterminating company but their lack of customer service will keep me from contacting them again.

We discovered we had a bed bug infestation after noticing blood smears on our sheets and feeling things crawling on us during the night. We were absolutely panicked so we checked out Angies List for reputable exterminators. We called a couple of highly rated exterminators but it was Friday night so we got answering machines. Ernies called us back fairly quickly and said he would come as soon as he could that evening. The others called the next morning and said they did not do bed bugs. He confirmed we had bed bugs and checked out the entire house and all of the furniture. He gave us concise instructions on how we should prepare the house prior to his return on Sunday. Yes, he works on Sunday if the situation calls for it and it did not cost extra. He sprayed the entire house on Sunday and returned three times over the next couple of weeks to check for survivors. He sprayed a second time and then a third time just to error on the side of caution. These critters are disgusting. Our house is now free of bed bugs but we are probably pschologically damaged for life. I highly recommenc Ernie and would use him again. He is a bit of a character and he likes to talk but he is extremely knowledgeable on the subject of bed bugs and a highly ethical person in my opinion. .

The guy who came was really nice. He was upfront and honest regarding purchasing products to take care of an ant problem. He was prompt, punctual, and professional. I would definitely call them back.

My experience with Ernie's was good, and they were very knowledgeable. We set up a time for him to come back every other month. He came back the NEXT month, and I was charge for an additional month. I called, and they took the charge off. The man that was here was clearly very knowledgeable. He's is the only one that does the actual service. Once, he was a little bit late. He is a character, and a talker! You can't get away without at least a 25 minute conversation. He is over the top. We would use them again.

He came the same day, unlike the large chain stores that you contract. Additionally, when he got here he explained what was going on and explained I had nothing to be afraid of. In my opinion exterminators use language that is scary so that they can offer their services more often. Ernie has a college degree and he knows what he is talking about and he set a very different schedule and essentially said if you see any issues in the Spring to let him know. There was no pressure and he was affordable.

They are fine. It seems like they are a little expensive. I am not 100% on it but if I have a concern then I just give them a call and they come out. It seems as if the service is not the same now as it was when I first used them many years ago. They would come in and spray all around but now they just come in and if there is a problem they spray in one area and that’s about it, so for the price it doesn’t seem like we are getting the spraying. They come quarterly. The last time they came was in December. If I notice that there is a hornet’s nest or something starting somewhere I can give them a call and they come out and take care of it. I paid for the year all at once and I think it was around $300. I would grade them a B for my overall experience because of the cost. I would continue to use them in the future.

I think their prices were fair, especially since they water proofed our basement. This is a family owned business, and they worked with us every step of the way. They cleaned up after themselves, and took away all the debris, including an old piano. They did a professional job. They asked questions, and explained what they were going to do. The entire experience was excellent. We will use them again.

I appreciated the call letting me know that he was going to be a little late. I also appreciated the fact that when he got here, we reviewed the monthly service contract I had discussed over the phone with someone else (I had gotten the wrong impression over the phone that I could end the contract at any time; instead it was a commitment for a year). So I changed it to a one-time spraying. I showed him where woodpeckers had been going after the house, but he said it was more likely a mating ritual thing than insects. He did an inspection of the inside and outside of the house, including going into the crawl space to look for termites and other bugs. No termites, which was a relief. He sprayed for ants, which is an occasional problem. He was friendly and efficient.

We have woodpeckers feasting on our cedar siding. The rep was very professional and helpful. They are going to treat for any insects that might be getting on or under our siding, starting within 3 days. The rep told us the main problem was improper installation of the window and door moldings causing wood damage there. Very helpful. We now can move to correct our problem confident we don't have termites.

I have not had any ant problems since they exterminated them. They bend over backwards to help. The overall experience was excellent. They were punctual, responsive, and professional. I would use this company again. Any time I have needed them they were here.

Have not had any traces of mice. Very Professional technician. I signed up for a 1 year service contarct because they did such a good professional job

I was impressed with the thorough effort put forth by both the inspector and technician in addressing my termite problem. The representative from the other company neither entered the crawlspace nor suggested inspecting the garage, but he did offer to sell me an extermination plan for rare pests that are not a problem in my home, like bats. After reading up on the chemicals used by Terminix, which are a form of the pesticide used in the flea treatment Frontline (safe enough for dogs and cats), I was convinced that this must be more effective than the other company's plan involving baited traps placed around the house at 10-foot intervals. Ten feet is a large distance for a tiny bug to travel in order to find the poisoned bait, as compared to an interval of approximately 2 feet in which the liquid treatment disperses readily. It is now late fall. The extermination work has been complete for a few weeks. We won't know until next spring how effective it has been, but judging by the positive experience so far, I expect we will opt for an annual inspection by Terminix and ongoing treatment, as needed. I now realize that termites are an endemic problem in our region.
