They were good, friendly, they came on time and they came back to clean up and to take care of the problems left.

It was great and they did a good work. They were efficient and very considerate with my yard.

The owner came to our home in September 2018 for an estimate. We shared we wanted to overhaul much of our landscaping, including new lighting, mulch and edging. We were clear that we wanted to get on their list for early spring installation, and he agreed that wouldn’t be an issue. We paid a $250 deposit. When spring 2019 rolled around, we couldn’t get them to commit to actually starting the project. They said by end of May, and that didn’t happen. Messages took 5-7 days for a response in many cases, and the owner never took accountability and picked up the phone to call us himself. Overall, a really poor experience. They did give us the deposit back. I was disappointed because we have used them for small things in the past like fall cleanup and mowing and they were reliable and always did great work.

I have looked a long time to find a group where I am pleased with their work. With Petrarca...so far, so good! Recently hired this group and their work is impressive. They come out once a week. Quick, cuts at a healthy height and all trim work is performed. Even removed the dead leaves and debris in the gutter down by the end of my driveway. You are given a menu of options, single cut, double cut or bag clippings from which to choose. Yard in back is cross mowed that provides a cool pattern. Even liked how they distributed their invoice and provided a link for you to pay online. So far, this group is TOP NOTCH!!! Would and have recommended them to others. Great job everyone!

I called at the last minute to get my yard mowed at my new home. They fit me into the schedule and came out the next day. Did a great job and their customer service was excellent. I will definitely use again.

I wouldn't hire anyone else! The price listed is for just the grading and reseeding lawn.

Applications are on time and described in full on the bill. My lawn was a mess when I bought the house 5 years ago and now looks great.

When Andrew stopped by and gave the estimate for the work, he said that they were scheduling two weeks out. Two weeks came and went, and I never heard anything. For the next few weeks I either e-mailed or called every week or two to see when they would be coming to trim the trees, but the only response I got back was that they'd "have to get back with me on the date." Around week 5 or 6 I called and said that if they weren't planning on showing up to do the work, I was going to call another company and hire them instead... still no scheduled work date was given. When they finally did show up, I never received a call or e-mail to let me know they were coming. I was already at work when they arrived. I live with an elderly relative, and she was startled when the dog started growling and barking like crazy because she had no idea that they were outside working. (They never knocked on the door or rang the bell to announce themselves.) I can't complain about the work they did... the actual work was well done. My issue is with the lack of responsiveness when asked repeatedly as to when we could expect them to show up and do the job. Also, who shows up to work on someone's property and not announce themselves? I am happy with the final results, but wouldn't hire them again because I feel it's unprofessional / bad customer service to not let your customer know when to expect you after their repeated attempts to be given a date. I gave an F rating on punctuality because I didn't know when they were coming to do the work. To me, they were a month late because they showed up about 6 weeks after the estimate. I would have given them an A or B rating overall if they just would have let me know when they were coming, and announced themselves when they arrived.

Very well. Showed up when they said they would. Got the job done did not drag it out like previous lawn-care companies. Prices very fair. Andrew is very knowledgeable and give excellent recommendations. Having them do additional work this summer.

My husband's snow blower broke, so we ended up calling for help. The day they were supposed to come out our car actually got stuck in the driveway so first thing when they arrived they helped get my car unstuck so we could move it. After that he cleared and salted the drive quickly so we would easily be able to get the car into the garage. Very pleased every time we have had dealings with them and hiring them for regular service with lawn care.

At first I thought Andrew was great, this was 2013 when he put in the flagstone patio and firepit. Redid entire landscaping front and back of yard and cut down two over grown trees , and put landscape lighting front and back. I had the idea he was a young and very good at what he did, but wrong in 2014 all we needed done or redone he hardly responded to my request ( he had all his $$ now). The cement or whatever he laid in flagstone patio is all coming apart, the fire pit is unsafe, he should of put a metal piece inside since the stone around is like a sandstone and could of exploded if fire was real hot, and stone around pit just laid on top without any type of cement to hold stone in place so this will all have to be redone with a reputable company. (Thank goodness we didn't build hardly any fires last year.) But I called him numerous times last year on some of the issues from the previous year he would either half redo the problem, just threw a bag on top of some of the soft or missing cement on flagstone problem never resolved. Also lighting 1st year 1 light went bad last year another light went bad, he did fix this but than another light went out this winter, left message to his office no call back. I fired him after a horrible experience last year when his employees in the fall dumped at least 8 yards of leaves in my side yard when I live in a development and have a corner lot and leaves were dumped there on a Friday evening without letting me know, I was home, someone could of let me know what was going on. Andrew said they needed to dump somewhere to finish other jobs that evening since they needed the space in their bagger I guess. When calling Andrew about this I asked if these leaves would be picked up that evening, his reply was "ya". Well no one showed up and my husband and I bagged 7 contractor bags of leaves from other homes and ours, and that night we fired Andrew. I had previously gave good reviews in 2013 but once this young man has your money, forget you. One more thing, his mulch is awful and I needed only 15 yards and he charged 1300.00 when I asked for a breakdown he couldn't give me this in writing but did write off $275.00. People need to be aware of his prices and what I paid for 2 years of work and unsatisfactory work. I'm sorry I hired him and eventually will have to have the patio redone and for now can only afford to redo the fire pit just to be safe and useful and also half the plantings he put in died, some not even a year old. Being he is young I would of thought he would of treated us as one of his best customers with the money we paid to him. We would of been treated with respect especially the 2nd year of his service, instead we were more of a burden. When he would talk me he would say i was too fussy and mean, when I was just calling about the problems with patio, dead plantings and lighting, and than the leaf dumping, you would of thought he would of been out that night resolving this problem or answering me with more than a "ya". whats that suppose to mean?!. Maybe that's why he's gone through over 25 employees in 2 years. Sorry I gave a great review 2013 but I really wanted to help him in his business, but we are so unhappy with his work we don't want anyone else to go through this. If he just would of tried to make it right until it was right, and been a little more respectful and answered with sentences.. Young with a lot of growing up to do and learning what planting go where so they don't die within a year, and how to build patios and firepits that don't fall apart in one year.

Came out on time and did a great job. Kept most of the gravel in the drive which is a big plus compared to other providers

Overpriced. Charge thirty something a man hour and comes out with 3 people, so triple that. I was home when they did the cleanup and noticed he spent about 10 minutes working on his equipments which I am wondering if it was included in the price I had to pay. 10 minutes is probably another 20 dollars or so. I didn't receive the angies list discount either.

Each service (for me) is $35.00 less 5% for the Angie's List discount, but obviously your price depends on the size of your driveway. Andrew uses Google Maps (Street View) to obtain a rough view of what the cost of the work will be for snow plowing, so the response time is fast for receiving a quote. I was not present at the time of the snow plow but when i got home from work, it appeared that they had done a nice job. NOTE: The quote for snowplowing services DOES NOT include salt, so you still have to salt your own driveway or ask for them to do it (for an additional charge), it was not a big deal for me because I have a certain type of salt i like to use, but just a heads up that you have to ask for that extra service.

The guys were so nice and professional and did a fantastic job. The whole property looked beautiful! The office staff is fantastic as well. I live in Texas and was paying for the services, and they were very accommodating. Would highly recommend!

There were some minor issues with contacting the company originally. My husband called in and there was no return call, but when I sent a message explaining this I got a call back immediately. We were able to make arrangements for Andrew to come out to the house the following day to walk over the property and discus cost and exactly what services we are interested in, both immediately and in the future, starting with the leaf removal. It was arranged for the leaf removal and a price agreed upon and estimate of 250 based on hourly rate was given. When the men arrived to do the work the ground had frozen so they had to leave and return later in the day. Instead of being able to do the work with their blowers they had to rake the wet heavy leaves onto tarps and carry them to the truck, much heavier work, and more time consuming. When we did see the they were in good spirits and polite while working, (though I will admit my daughter and I were gone most of the time, and my husband slept since he works nights). We were completely satisfied and thrilled with how our property looked afterwards. We will certainly be hiring them to maintain our property and would be more then happy to recommend them to others.

I followed up 3 times over a three week period requesting a quote and to see if Petrarca wanted to do the work. I left messages for them with the receptionist each time I called. I never received a phone call back or any sort of follow up. This was quite surprising to me as Petrarca had received sterling reviews on Angela's list. From what I could determine during the first visit they appeared incredibly knowledgable and professional but their lack of follow up has proven to be disappointing. Update - after 3.5 weeks they ultimately called to discuss our project details but we had already hired another contractor.

Guys did a great job. No problems whatsoever. Very courteous, polite crew that gets the job done.

We wanted a few small yard projects done. After waiting a couple weeks for the landscaping we made a follow up call and they stated they would come that week. Then two more weeks went by and they did not come to landscape, only mow. Then we got another company.

They were very good in the beginning but they're starting to make it a rushed job every time they come here now. They're in and out in 10 minutes. Part of their services in the beginning was that they would blow all the leaves off he grass and the clippings off the deck after they were done mowing and I've had to remind them a couple times to do it because they haven't been doing that lately. I pay $30 a visit and they come once a week.

He is great guy. I have been using him since he put in my landscaping nine months ago.
