Allison Drywall & Remodeling

I contracted with Allison Drywall to finish a basement room. After a visit and e-mail from Ray, I wrote out exactly what we agreed to and emailed it to him. We talked by phone about each item and were ready to go. When the other guy (whose name I don't recall) showed up, he said: * he couldn't add the heating vent (per agreement) and I would have to contract that separately (with no reduction in cost) * they weren't going to install the light fixtures we had agreed to * that I had enough electrical outlets and they weren't going to install the extras we had agreed to This continued (cable jack, air outtake, etc.) There were also quality issues -- they wanted to put the sheetrock on top of the moulding, saying that was how it is usually done. (On what planet?) They went outside to make a phone call and left me waiting. They vanished, only to call and leave me a voice mail that they weren't going to do the job. I'm probably lucky that this fell through!
