Repair looks great! Very professional! Definitely would use him again & recommend to all my friends & family.

He showed up on time and did what he said he would do. We had a lot of missing mortar in between the bricks on our house and he repaired and filled in all the gaps. It looks very professional and we will definitely use him in the future if we need brick work done again.

Peteâ s color matching skills for both bricks & mortar are unsurpassed! His communication was timely, the work amazing, and I even liked his choice of radio station! Pete repaired 2 corners of our front porch where cement was stuck to the bricks from a former wall. He dug out and replaced the bricks & mortar and you canâ t tell anything was done. Highly recommended.

Pete did an amazing job repairing our retaining wall. He was diligent and came almost every day in a row until the wall was finished. We didn’t have to track him down or ask for updates. He kept his work site clean and organized. His prices were reasonable and our wall went from dilapidated and poorly made, to refinished and looking brand new. We would recommend him to anyone.

We were fortunate to have been contacted by Pete Vilardo, a skilled mason with many years of experience. We live in a 100 year old home with cracks between the bricks on the outside of the house, with large cracks on the inside basement wall corresponding to the cracks on the outside. Also, on the steps and wall leading to our backyard there were several large loose stones which had the potential of causing a fall risk. Pete was very professional, explaining what needed to be done and why, always on time and completely cleaned the work areas. He paid close attention to detail, mixing the correct amount of ingredients in the cement he used in order to match the color of the cement between the bricks. He expertly filled in the cracks in the basement wall and stabilized the stones steps and stone wall leading to the backyard. I can truly say Mr. Vilardo does excellent work and exceeded our expectations.

He was very punctual and responsive. Easy to deal with. Mostly worked alone. May hire him for more masonry projects soon.

Pete was so professional and knowledgeable about the job I had a crack and my brick wall that was repaired by another contractor and did a horrible job. Pete refixed my cracked wall matched up the colors so it would blend in I'm very happy with the job and I'd recommend him to anyone.

Pete was great to work with. The job was to repair a chunk of my wall on the lower foundation of my back porch that broke off. The house is over 100 years old & it looks great again! He was friendly, cleaned up afterward, and was appreciative of me hiring him. I will certainly call him again if I need masonry work.

Couldn’t be happier start to finish. Pete’s responsiveness makes Jimmy John’s look pathetic. Pete came out to look at the job within 2 days of my initial call. When we told him we were ready for his quote, he sent it within 24 hours. I told him we were good to go and he came out within a week on a Sunday. Job was done before the end of the day and our new window is going to be gorgeous. One would be hard pressed to pick out this new window cut-out from the 33 year-old originals.

Vilardo's was excellent to work with on this project. I've recommended them to at least a half a dozen people asking me about the masonry work done on my house.

Pete has 39 years experience and was much more knowledgeable about stone work than the other contractors that contacted me. He also performed a complete repair job of my stone wall that included precleaning via pressure washing, removal and reapplication of the mortar where needed, and completely caulking along the base of the 54' wall. He also was very prompt with his initial contact and quoting. While I originally wanted to obtain 3 quotes, I settled for 2 since the person at the second company kept trying to put me off and when he finally did quote, his price was 3.5 times higher with no precleaning or caulking. The 3rd company would not pick up the phone to arrange an appointment even when I asked them to do so. They only wanted to correspond via texting, which I did not like. I would consider using Pete in the future if needed.
