Hired them to do a flood repair in our finished basement which involved replacing 2 feet of drywall, installing all-new door trim & baseboards, and painting walls & doors 1. After we hired them Ken Koster was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. *Unconcerned and nonchalant when his worker didn't show up or was late. Said I had to understand" *Said worker was not good with cleanup & asked us to help him with that *When poor quality work was brought to his attention he said I was nit-picking. (I have photos) *Allowed unqualified workers to do jobs *Over ordered supplies (paint, door trim etc) then took them once the job was complete. Tried to quote 12 gallons of paint for a small basement which took less than 5. 2. Workers were sloppy, unprofessional and did poor quality work even though we were told they were masters. *Got drywall mud on furniture, decor & other personal property and left it like that. *Drywaller (Oscar) used our kitchen sink, I assumed just to get water but he must have been cleaning his tools and got drywall mud on the cabinets, the sink and the dishes my wife had just washed & had out to dry and left it that way. *Oscar left huge gaps when drywalling around outlets. (I had to buy oversized outlet covers to cover the gaps) *Oscar did a poor drywall job where the sink was then actually asked if I wanted it smoothed out since it was where the vanity or pedestal sink was going *Master painter left overspray, cut in work was sloppy & left lots of missed spots. (Didn't leave us even a drop of paint to do touch-ups) *Oscar painted and installed door trim & baseboards. Poorly painted, left gaps between pieces & corners were not mitered properly which left gaps and looked awful. *Oscar broke a floor tile then tried to cover it up. When I discovered it he said he would fix it but Ken said "We are not repairing any tile." *Junky work van left oil stains in our driveway and trash that flew out of it in our yard. *I asked Oscar if they were going to paint the doors so they matched the trim as I assumed it was part of the quote but instead of telling me it was not he painted them anyway then told me it was $50 each side of 4 doors. *Because Oscar was often late, had to take time off, just didn't show or was called off of our job to go to others our job took much longer than necessary. Then Ken complained to me that this job was taking too long. *Oscar removed toilet to drywall on the first day & didn't replace it until the last day. He didn't ask to use the upstairs bathroom ever. So don't know where he was going but suspect it was the milk jugs her took out every day. There should be a place to add pictures because I have plenty to back up my review. My wife and I would be happy to give any further information or forward pictures. Just email unhappycustomers2021@gmail.com

We were very happy with the job Patch King did. Todd and his colleague were on time, efficient, and did great work. We had a water damaged ceiling. We had already ripped out the damaged part before hiring Patch King to repair the 8' x8' hole. Patch King understood our issue and got us on the schedule within days of the free estimate. I highly recommend them.

Todd did a great job replacing and repairing drywall in my livingroom and basement. It was a tricky job. He did the work as agreed and did extra with the basement repair to make it a smooth transition into the already partially repaired basement ceiling. The quality was top-notch all the way. I am so pleased with the quality of the work, professionalism, and timeliness (on schedule as promised). I will definitely reach out to them first for any future work.

Very professional and great knowledge. Todd is the best! He took the time to explain everything and went out of his way to help me with my kitchen remodel. I have an older home and he solved some tricky soffit and lighting placements. Ken was very responsive... everybody was very friendly and offered an honest approach to be trusted. I highly recommend them.

Kathy was a joy to deal with. She was very accommodating and went out of her way to work with my schedule. I changed my appointment with her four different times because of the other work being done in my house. She was very friendly and easy to deal with. They were a little high but the extra personal service I got made up for it. Todd, that did the work, did a great job and cleaned up after himself and left it the way I expected it.

Patch King helped with a kitchen remodel that included soffit removal, wiring, drywall and painting. The team members varied somewhat due to illnesses, but the final product was pretty pleasing. The electrical work was challenging,ae but done successfully. The team members were clean and respectful of the property. Several team members are smokers, who did not smoke in the house, but their clothes were permeated with the odor.

I hired Patch King through another app. I had originally asked for seam repair and finishing work in a half bath (the smallest room in my home), when another contractor left me stranded (hired through Home Advisor). After speaking to Ken, we determined that a better solution was to remove the existing down to the studs and skim coat the ceiling (I performed these tasks). Patch King was to puck up the drywall from the home improvements store, hang the new drywall, and mud and tape the seams including to the skim coated ceiling. On day one, the one man crew spent the entire day hanging the drywall, no mudding or seams were done. The expectation was that a 20-minute mud would be used on day 2 which would allow the seams and mudding to be done in the same day. On day two, the installer was joined by an apprentice. They worked a full day on the seams and sanding. But acknowledged that there was still finishing work required to finish it to satisfaction. On day 3, the apprentice showed up alone with the expectation that he would only need 1-2 hours of finishing. After inspecting the work, there were visible waves of high spots, a brand-new switch was stuck off from mud being dropped on it, and the light fixture was mudded over. Ken came over and inspected it with me. We decided that the apprentice would put more 20 minute mud on the waves and return the next day to finish. On day 4 the apprentice came alone and spent and hour sanding the previous work. I was unable to inspect before he left. Ken called me asking me to pay for the additional time spent by the apprentice at the same rate he charges for the installer. I declined, since my invoice for the work that was done was already $1,100 for the smallest room in my house and the rework was caused by the original sub par work of his installer. I am relieved that I did not pay for that work, since the walls are still not completed to professional standards. In the picture attached a seam was not even touched, there are still waves in the seams in the ceilings, and several areas on the walls are not smooth. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the quality of the work. I would not recommend Patch King for any work of any kind. My experience could not have gone any worse.
