Natorp Nursery Outlet and Landscape

Description of Work: They built a path to get from our house to the lower yard.

Description of Work: They planted trees.

Description of Work: We contracted Natorps in June of 2015. We had a man by the name of Tim Labonge come out and draw out the initial design. During our multiple conversations, he was very hard to talk to and would not take notes or write anything down. We asked that the plants be tropical so we can feel like we were on vacation. The initial proposal was around 18k and 3700 for irrigation. We decided to go with the company and paid 5k down. The landscaping was started on 8/24/2015. Once the plants were put down, we noticed some issues. Many of the plants were dead and had to be replaced only a few days after they were planted and in the middle island, they put down river rocks and not the slate we asked for and there were no tropical plants. We let Tim know our issues on 8/26/2016. We did not get a reply with a new plan until 9/28/2016, almost a month later! We also had weeds growing everywhere, almost 3 ft tall and our irrigation system was buried and did not work. After we decided that we wanted to have plants replaced with the tropical ones we asked for in the beginning, on 9/29 we were told now we had to wait until the end of October. A 3-4 day project is now 4 months in. In an email we stated our concerns on 10/17 again after no reply from Tim and we had to call the owner. "I wanted to let you know that I have contacted Craig Natorp. He is gone until Monday. The reasons being: 1) the "island" obviously, 2) the "island" and the obvious placement of the weeds that are 2feet-3feet high. They are only placed over the steps getting to the pool and again over the steps getting to the fence gate, but no where else, 3) the irrigation hose that is not buried, 4) when looking at my back door, the difference in landscaping on each side - when normally they should match, 5) *** the fact that I was put back on the waiting list for another month to finish the project even though this project has been ongoing 6) the project was promised to be completed in 4 to 5 days at the most and with your lack of manpower it took 3 weeks and is still not completed 2 months later 7) the mulch around the back edge of the pool that was supposed to be stone and was obviously not, 8) a new plan was supposed to be drafted up 2 weeks ago and this has not happened yet" We still didn't have a plan drawn up for the mistakes until 12/9, which is now too late to plant any flowers. We also asked for the river rocks to be replaced with BLACK Mexican Rocks and that was pushed out until 12/19 with may excuses. We should have been first one the list seeing this project started 6 months ago. On 1/6/2016 the rocks were finally exchanged and they were the wrong ones!! They were grey not black. After almost waiting a year, the owner of the company on 4/6 put a plan together for us, with all tropical plants. Craig wanted us to pay an additional 11,000 which we would not agree to. We decided to call it even at 7k, UNTIL we say the horrible job they did with the plants they did plant the previous year. There were TONS of dead plants, dead bushes, plants where they should not be planted and the irrigation system was completely broken. I have pictures to support everything I just described. Our back yard looked like you were walking through a field and not what we asked for at all, let alone the terrible quality. We called and emailed the owner Craig and he told me he was not arguing with me and send us to collections. I believe the 5K we already paid is enough for the 7 trees we have and the 5-6 bushes. Everything else was dead and we had another company come in and completely redo the back yard, so we have to pay $3500 for that.

Description of Work: Came out for detailed estimate for deck removal and paver patio and hard scape install. Took lots of time and provided detailed drawing.

Description of Work: Natorp's Inc. mows and trims our lawn on a regular basis, and they put down mulch. They keep our lawn going. They just mowed our lawn last Tuesday. Jamie, the girl that works there, does landscape design and she helps with some landscaping also.

Description of Work: Natorp’s Nursery came out to put some stuff in our ash trees to save them.

Description of Work: Purchased a 15 foot autumn blaze maple and installation of the tree.

Description of Work: Trim trees and shrubs. Remove weeds from mulch, re-dig trench between lawn and mulch, apply fertilize, insecticide, wnd weed control, apply new mulch.

Description of Work: The Natorp landscapist designer, Mr. Bill Knox, designed block walls for a boat parking and heat pump pads, with plantings for sides of house where erosion had removed all plants and ground was wearing away on the slope. Workers replaced and repositioned drainage pipes, built up the land to repair slope, installed block stone walls, graveled area and planted bushes. It ended costing more than we had planned but it is quality, attractive, and built substantially in a way that exceeded our expectations.
