Description of Work: He was very prompt and was able to diagnose my problem and fix it, with some work-arounds that only come with lots of experience. He had a bag of tricks in a briefcase that helped make this possible. I was incredibly grateful that I was able to make an appointment so quickly and that he handled the problem efficiently.

+ -1 moreHe was prompt in service and answered phone calls or called back right away. The service was really good. I really liked how he stood by his work.
Description of Work: He initially wanted to charge me $300 for parts and labor, and after he thought he fixed it, we found out that wasn't what the problem was. I ended up having to send it back to Apple, and he ate the cost of the repair since it didn't work.

+ -1 moreCalled and scheduled an appointment. He showed up on time, was polite and quickly identified and corrected the problem Subsequently decided to also perform upgrades. He took the computer over night and returned it the next day.
Description of Work: corrected a poor performing Mac Mini. Also upgraded the RAM and HD.

+ -1 moreI laid out the services I thought I needed in an email to Dave who replied promptly with a rough estimate of the amount of time it might require and an approximate cost. We then scheduled a time for him to come to our home which was at my earliest convenience. The whole process went very smoothly even though there were a couple of unexpected glitches. Dave troubleshot those and resolved them. These were problems I doubt I could have easily solved on my own. He answered all of our questions and was very helpful with additional tips so that we felt comfortable to begin working with our new computers and printer.
Description of Work: Setup a new iMac, MacBook Pro and wireless printer. Setup the Wi-Fi network. Migrated files from Windows PC to iMac. Demonstrated the basic operation of the new equipment and answered a few questions. Total time about 2 1/2 hours.

Description of Work: Dave replaced the hard drive in my Mac. I had run out of space. This is the third or fourth time I have used Dave to help diagnose/repair my Macs. Each time, Dave has been punctual, professional and more than fair in his pricing. In the last case, Dave diagnosed the issue over the phone, provided me pricing options based on how much storage I wanted to add, then came, picked my Mac up and brought it back the next day. I highly recommend Dave.

Description of Work: He came over and fixed the internet connection and hooked up my devices to the wifi signal.. He reinstalled the router because it was set up incorrectly. He is very efficient.
