Description of Work: I had a clogged drain. I called Jerry and he came out that day and cleared it up in no time. I've had similar problems a couple of times over the past year, and each time Laux has been willing to respond same day, sometimes in minutes. A year or so back they installed a new water heater for me. The job was well done and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: We had a broken pipe that was badly leaking. He came quickly and fixed the broken pipe. While he was here, he also fixed a faucet that wasn't working properly. He did a great job at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Description of Work: They replaced my old sump pump with a new sump pump and a backup sump pump with |battery. Everything went fine no problems.

Description of Work: Three commodes had the insides and water intake lines replaced, two commodes had tanks removed and reinstalled with new bolts. One sink was removed from wall, then replaced. They worked with us so that we could remove wallpaper from behind the commodes and sink as they were doing the repairs.

Description of Work: Mr. Laux and his son replaced one outside faucet, repaired another, and installed a new sump pump. I had purchased a sump pump seperately but it was too big for the pot I had. Fortunately, Mr. Laux had one on his truck that worked perfectly. Very satisfied with the service and will definitely use for future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Our 75 gallon hot water heater "blew" and ceased functioning. Water sprayed out the top (direct power vent) and went everywhere including landing on the electrical outlet. As I am very wary when it comes to being electrocuted, I did not want to attempt to turn off the heater by pulling the plug. The power vent was still running and still emitting small amounts of water. | |After reviewing plumbers on the list, I called Laux plumbing. This was based upon the following: |1. 100% positive reviews |2. They were not a large company and you would not necessarily get the most competent person, but the person who was next available on the list for a service call. |3. It was obvious that this was a small business and since I own a small business, I felt that I would receive very personal service. |I called on Saturday evening when I realized we had a problem. Jerry Laux answered and after explaining the situation, he walked me through the process of turning off the electric and the gas line. I asked him for a quote and after obtaining the size, the type, etc. he immediately gave me a quote. |I had already received a quote from a different vendor in November for replacement. We knew the 13 year old heater needed to be replaced, but as life turns out, it had not been done. I could not remember the amount of the quote, but thought it had been in the $2,200 range. I called them and the person indicated they had no access to quotes and that would only be available on Monday morning. The only reason I called this vendor is that they had replaced our HVAC unit in the fall and wanted to find out how much the quote had been. | |On Monday after being switched around between several people, I talked with someone who gave me a quote. The quote was for $3,400. While the quote included annual flushing of the water heater, I really felt that they were attempting to take advantage of the situation as we had been without hot water since late Saturday. | |I called Jerry back and asked to proceed. Though he was not available to install the water heater until Thursday afternoon (4 days later), I was more than willing to wait. The lack of integrity on pricing from the other vendor and the reviews on the list convinced me that it was worth waiting on the installation. | |Jerry and his son Andrew called about 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment time to let me know that they were on their way. The took care by laying down drop clothes to keep our carpet from getting dirty. They worked efficiently and had the old heater removed and a catch tray, a new pressure relief tank installed, a drain line run to our in floor drain and the new heater installed within 2 hours. |I talked with them as they did the install and became even more comfortable with my choice based upon our conversation. I would like to thank Jerry and Andrew for doing such an excellent job and would recommend them without hesitation for their competence, pricing and level of care. |

Description of Work: Jerry came out and replaced two leaky valves for us. On another occasion he repaired a leak at our water valve entrance to our home. He is very punctual, clearly explains the repair before starting and also gives a price quote before starting the work. I will definitely call him for any future plumbing needs!

Description of Work: Installed water line, disconnected utility tub from wall so that the old refrigerator could be removed from beside the tub and the new frig could be placed. This is a narrow spot He then returned the next day after the appliance delivery and hooked up the tub again. Everything ran super smoothly ! He also installed a new sink faucet (I had already purchased) in my kitchen. His son did some of the work and they were out of the house in no time.

Description of Work: I had two new toilets installed 3 years ago and have had nothing but problems with them. I have had plumbers in the past, and their fixes were temporary. Laux came out as soon as possible. He and his son were professional, extremely honest and knowledgeable. They had to come back the next day and did so promptly, having to get the special parts the toilets required. I have had no problems since that time. Description of Work: Brought city water into my house. Disconnected cistern and brought plumbing up to code. also replaced kitchen faucet. Mr. Laux and his assistant were excellent and very fast with their excellent work. I highly recommend him!

Description of Work: Repaired a leak in an upstairs toilette. Also performed another repair on a bathtub, hooking up the overflow which wasn't done when tub was initially installed.

Description of Work: Had a drain in a 2nd floor bathroom that was leaking. They had to go through the ceiling to get to the drain. Mr. Laux was very professional. His son assisted him and was very polite also. They gave me a quote and the time frame to fix the issue. It was fixed within that time frame. He was very neat and cleaned up the plaster from his work.
