Air Authority Heating & Air Conditioning

Description of Work: i have a yearly service contract with Air Authority. it is about $500 but it covers 2 visits a year and the cost of another service call during the year. Parts and labor are extra. i have used the company for over 8 years and have recommended them to several friends. they tell you how much something is going to cost before they are do it. Description of Work: Called for service on furnace on a Wednesday, and technician who arrived Friday was friendly and efficient. Dustin quickly diagnosed the problem and had the part on his truck. We had signed up for a service contract as well. Upon starting the inspection, Dustin found a large hole in the heat exchanger, which he showed me on a camera inside the unit. Though it was a mild early December, he was apologetically explained the safety hazard and liability, and promptly red-tagged it. He quickly called the office and got a salesman to come right over to explain our options. When Dan arrived, he was pleasant and knowledgable, giving us options at different price points - no pressure, though it *was* December and we needed a furnace sooner rather than later. Installation was scheduled for the following Monday (luckily the mild weather continued for the weekend) . Installers were prompt, polite and respectful of our home, laying down tarps and wearing show covers. Upon leaving for the day, they did forget to cap an exhaust pipe, potentially allowing natural gas to fill the basement. The installers came back Tuesday to get the new AC unit installed (figured we'd get a new one of those too). They did a fairly good job cleaning up the debris in the basement, but did leave some sharp metal on the floor which I caught the cat playing with. All in all, they did a really good job, and we will definitely use them again.
