The owner was easy to contact and was generally responsive to questions. Work was scheduled and performed on the scheduled date. His crew is hard working and were very professional. Prior to the work I had researched how other companies pour walls. I contacted Jerry (the owner) prior to the work and asked several technical questions about how they would perform the work. He assured me his methods were acceptable and the job would be completed to industry standards. I observed the entire process of the pour and they do not follow best practices during the pour. Although his crew worked extremely hard there is no leadership on his team. Each individual worked independently to finish the job into the dark. It was obvious that the crew needs a leader. Jerry showed up just prior to the concrete arriving and stated he was going deer hunting. As I watched the work progress and the trucks arrive it was obvious all they do is pour the concrete in the forms with no plan to keep cold joints from forming, no vibration was used, and in the end they were digging up clean out concrete from the ground to get enough material to fill the forms. The finished product looks like Swiss cheese in most places and cracks have already developed. This company hides behind the old saying "concrete is always going to crack". I am not concerned about the integrity of my walls but for the money I am confident there are better companies to choose from for your poured wall needs. Do your research prior to choosing a poured wall contractor and go see some of their work prior to selecting. I went with this company solely on others advice and them being the only contractor locally and thinking they were the only game in town. Big mistake on my part. I would never use this company again on a new build and suggest other to look elsewhere.
