It went very well. Eric responded promptly to my email inquiry with a quote. After several weeks, I got back to him about it. The cost of materials had gone up in the interim but he honored the quote anyway. He was very flexible and prompt, and the results are exactly as they should be.

Eric came out and worked with me on the printer. The issue came back again afterwards and he suggested that I don't put any more money into repairs because it was old. I had a newer printer that I hadn't had set up yet, so I had him come back out to set up the new printer. He was great.

I had tried unsuccessfully to set up the hardware, following the instructions from the store and from the information that came with the wireless router. Eric quickly identified an out-of-date ATT modem, but managed to install the router efficiently. Everything is working fine now.

I had what looked like a failed hard drive on my laptop. Unable to boot, tried all the repair disks and could not get the laptop to start up. The laptop had been acting quirky and even had the blue screen of death before it failed to start up. Eric gave me the straight story on odds of recovering hard drive and cost for a replacement hard drive. He took the laptop to diagnose it. He decided to let it run and run and run for over 18 hours, on the chance the hard drive would snap out of it. The hard drive came up and the laptop started up ok. Eric cleaned up the hard drive. Checked it, rebooted it many times and put laptop thru its paces. The laptop now runs faster than ever. Eric charged me for couple hours labor and that's it. Eric is a straightforward and honest guy who works hard. He takes care of his customers because he wants them to become clients. Eric's hourly rates are the best you'll find in the Columbus area.

The repair replaced my current virus software with one that works much more effectively. The service provided was very informative and time was taken to walk me thru all the steps to follow if another virus attacked my computer. I would highly recommend Golden Bear and would use again in the future without hesitation. Well worth the money spent and WAY BETTER than the Geek Squad.

He took my computer, set me up with another one and showed me how to work it so I was not without a computer at any point. He's polite, on time, and does a really fine job.

He was very honest and informative on what he could and could not do with the old laptop. He offered to take a look at it and if he couldn't repair it he would only charge me a small labor fee. He was able to repair it and charged a good price for the repair. I decide to purchase a new computer so that the old laptop could be used by my son in college.

In order to put together discs featuring interviews and television shows featuring my father, Mr. Ley had to find sections on 8 different tapes. He was very patient about having to take such care during the copying.

I called Eric when I had a Trojan horse "take over" my desktop. He was able to come over the next day. But, on top of the viruses, it also looked like the power supply had quit working so he gave me an estimate on a new power supply versus a new computer. I decided to go with a new one; he took my unit so he could transfer the data after he built it. After he bought the parts for a new one and got into my desktop, he discovered that it wasn't the power supply at all, but that the case of the computer wasn't making contact with the power switch. He saved me at least $400 by letting me know the problem and not building the new PC. I've used his service in the past and will continue to contact him with computer problems. It's good to know someone who is honest, reliable and responsive, when these unwanted problems arise!

everything went very well. Prior to contacting Eric I attempted to fix my computer myself. But nothing I did recovered my data. Eric was patient and explained what had happened, how to avoid it in the future, and how to best use my programs. He also explained Windows and Apple systems and which is best.

Eric was at our home in less than 24 hours. He worked promptly and told us what to do so he didn't have to charge for waiting around while the computer loaded the new programs. We are very pleased with his help.
