On Monday afternoon I contacted the company and set up an appointment for 8am Wednesday morning. Approximately 20 minutes before the appointment I received a call from the company to reschedule the appointment. The representative communicated the possibility of a lunch appointment for that same day. I asked for a 30 minute heads-up but did not receive a follow-up that day. In fact, still have not received a follow-up. I have made arrangements to use another company.

Our old aluminum porch was destroyed by an ice dam, so our home-owners insurance helped us get a new one. It was a complete re-build in wood. We asked the GC if we could have something added (lights and a ceiling fan). Applied Electric was the subcontractor that they got to do the work. Leave your pre-conceived ideas behind because Travis showed up with tattoos everywhere. Anyone who turns their nose up because of something like that is going to miss out on the best electrician I've ever met. The work was completed very quickly and with an eye for detail I'm not used to seeing. Most just slap things in and together. Travis was cool and methodical, happily explained everything so I know how to maintain it should I even need to in the future, and just a great person. The work was perfect, the details were well thought out, and he even anticipated future needs and did his work with what I might want in the future in mind. He was the first (of FIVE people) who looked at my panel and said and quot; Why do you think you need to upgrade it? Half your breakers aren't even being used and there isn't even enough draw in the house to max this out!and quot; Ever single one of the other five and quot;professionalsand quot; instantly said that I should go to a 200A panel. He explained it in a way that made complete sense and I verified to be true and accurate. I can't say the other five before him were truthful nor accurate. You want something done right? Done well? Done honestly? Call them. Call them now. Finally... an honest electrician! For the record, I can't speak to the exact price because there is a GC involved, but even with GC mark-up the line item was CHEAP. I didn't call them directly, so no idea on and quot;responsivenessand quot; either.
Description of Work: This was the sub for my GC on a home-owner insurance claim where I asked for an add-on
