I can't say enough good things about Lee and his company. Jeff, the installer, was amazing, and the two glass block windows that he installed look fantastic. The pricing was exactly what I wanted to pay and has not gone up much from glass block window pricing from a decade ago.

Good communication, detailed quote, good explanation (including pros and cons) on options, showed up on time and installation went smoothly, cleaned up area. I would rehire and recommend to others. Fair price.

The Installer arrived promptly and work was done as promised. He was very professional and courteous. I am well pleased with the work.

From the first meeting with Lee (owner) to the completion of the job it was a pleasure. Jeff actually did the job and he is a fantastic worker. I only wish other contractors had his work ethics, great attitude, highly skilled and a very hard worker. One of our big concerns was clean up inside and outside the house. He left everything cleaner than when he got here EXCELLENT JOB. Our home is over a hundred years old and we thought it would probably be a mess considering the condition of the windows. Fortunately that was not the case. Too bad they only do windows or we would hire them for everything. Did I say we were pleased great communication, fair price, on time and excellent work...

Despite some scheduling difficulties (mostly due to uncooperative weather) I am thrilled with my new windows and the work done by Security Glass Block! Jeff was my installer and he was very prompt, professional, and friendly. He took a lot of time on our project to ensure that the windows were installed properly and beautifully. The price also could not be beat. Thanks so much Lee and Jeff!

My initial contact was with Mr. Giles on 8/8/2014; He arrived on time for our appointment, readily provided me with a list of referrals and a copy of their liability insurance certificate; measured all 4 of my widows and thoroughly explained the process of installing the new ones. He showed me a few window block patterns to choose from and addressed a few concerns and questions that I had. Allowed me to pick the day of installation. Very thorough. Professional. Told me when to expect a call from the installer and his arrival time. The installer Jeff called me the evening before he was to install my windows, as Mr. Giles had promised. Arrived when he said he would and worked continuously from the time he arrived until the time he was finished. He did a most AMAZING job of installing my windows. A true professional! They are beautiful, I absolutely LOVE them !! It made such a difference and I wish I had done it years ago, the rates are VERY affordable. Installer arrived early to remove four old basement windows and install 4 new glass block windows with vents. Job was a little difficult as one of the windows was obstructed, but the installer was able to maneuver around and complete the instillation. The job was done in about 4 hours, and the installer cleaned up after the job was done. My husband said that this was money well spent. I would recommend Security Glass Block.

Very smooth, on time, and punctual. Responded same day to request for estimate. Came to estimate appointment on time, explained choices, showed references, and scheduled the work. Showed up on time, worked neatly and quickly, and cleaned up. Double checked cleanup after being paid before leaving. Just real smooth, routine, and a great job.

Unfortunately this review is almost a year past the date of the initial work, but I recall the experience to be very good. The sales rep was quick to offer a quote and the work was scheduled to be done within a few days. The morning of the scheduled work, two installers arrived on-time and were very kind and courteous. I was present during the removal of the old windows/frames and they were receptive to my judgment and requests on installing the new windows (my old basement frames were very old and installed in an unusual way, so it was initially unclear as to the best way to remove and install the new windows). In the end, I was very happy with how it all went. The only "negative" I recall was that their selection of stock was low and I felt slightly railroaded into getting a certain style of block (I originally wanted the normal clear, wavy block, but they only had the "foggy" wave available). The rep was kind enough to email me images of the block they wanted to install ahead of time. After it was all said and done, I think I actually like the foggy block better. The price jumped $20 per window to install a vent, which was pretty much in line with other window installers, as was the price per window. I'm very much a DIYer and seriously considered doing this work myself, but after seeing what really went into tearing out the old windows and installing new ones, I'm glad I left it to the pros. The cost of buying the windows on my own wouldn't have really offset the cost of getting them installed anyway - at least not enough to justify the pain and suffering of busting out old wooden frames that were partly embedded in concrete. Plus, the windows are guaranteed! There was one goof-up where they brought one window without the vent. I decided it wasn't that important in the particular window, so I had them install the window without the vent. The naturally deducted the cost of the vent, and also offered to come back and install the vent free of charge if I changed my mind. You really can't ask for much more than that.

Everything went great. Mr. Giles came out, measured the windows and gave me an estimate. We set up an install date at that time. Because of the extreme cold weather, the install date was pushed back by a day. Installation went well, and I'm pleased with the new security windows.

The owner Lee Giles responded very quickly to my Angie's List inquiry. He was professional and brought proof of insurance and references on our very first meeting. I got the impression that he was a very fair and knowledgeable and he has been in the glass block business for a very long time. The installer, Jeff, arrived early and got right to work. He was very professional and did an excellent job. The windows look wonderful and I feel that even if there was a chance that I might have gotten them cheaper somewhere else, I would still choose this company.

Called company and Lee came out promptly for an estimate. Within a week Jeff was here to install 5 glass block basement windows with vents. Work was professionally done and windows look fantastic! Basement was left cleaner than when they started! Highly recommend!

He came all the way to Bellbrook to give me an estimate on one window. Ended up he could not do the type of window installation I needed. Very professional. I hope to call him again for another project.

The installation was carefully done. The old windows were removed and the glass block was inserted using mortar neatly. The windows are beautiful. All debris was cleaned up. What a lovely job! And my surrounding plants outside were carefully avoided.
