+ -1 moreThe professionalism was not great. There was one person here doing the work and he was punctual. There was some nicks on the walls and damage on my drywall from their equipment. I couldn't see what was pulled out of the ducts.

+ -1 moreThe girl that wrote up the bill told me I needed a certified person who installs propane. I paid extra money to sears for that. When the man came out he told me he does not work with propane and that I needed a plumber. When I talked to them about this they gave me my money back that I paid for the extra work. We had an electric stove and had a plumber come out to unplugged the stove, if I would have known about needing a plumber I could have gotten my new stove hooked up at the same time. They were nice but, they didn't help either.
Description of Work: I bought a stove and paid for the installation.

+ -1 moreThe installation, especially of the dryer, was what I wanted. They promised to do it. But after they were there I discovered they had not connected the dryer to the outside of house. After complaining, they arranged to send another installer, for extra charge. The second one told that no such promise had been made and left me with no work done. Worse SEARS should not have promised installation even tho they asked for extra for the tubing to go outside house. Eventually I had to hire a handyman who did the job. My judgment now is that the Sears who had installed previous major appliances no longer had that service.
Description of Work: I paid extra to get quick installation of washer and dryer. I bought them thru Sears but only because they had the highly recommended ones in CR. They kept telling me that ones recommended by CR were never in stock. But I forced them to look up the ones I wanted and they did have them. So I am not reporting on this.

+ -1 moreThis was the worst experience of online shopping I have ever had, and I buy a lot of things online for my home and business, I never could get though to a manager, all I received was the runaround
Description of Work: Ordered Maytag Stove, Ref, Microwave & Dishwasher from Sears.Com on 4/14, delivery was scheduled for 4/28, the online widget said the truck was loaded so I got rid of all my old appliances this morning, the delivery driver called me and said he had a microwave, after 2 phone calls and a hour on hold, they told me today not all appliances were available. I can barely understand them, they are all from a foreign country. I ask a question and they give me a different answer. I thought ordering online was hassle free, their website and prices sure looked good, now I have no appliances in my home and can't get a straight answer. What would most folks do? I plan on going to best buy, big sandy superstore, lowes, home depot and buy direct in the store!!!

+ -1 moreIt did not cost anything because it was under warranty. I do not know that I would recommend. That is where I usually go and the warranty will take care of everything. I did not have any issue with the ice maker since the service was provided. They did what they were supposed to do and it was great.
Description of Work: I generally use Sears for my appliance repair because that is where we usually buy them from. The last thing we had them do a service was when our ice machine quit working and the refrigerator. They replaced a part.

+ -1 moreHonestly they liked Best Buy better, but they were tired of running around and Sears agreed to a price match and that is why we bought the fridge there. They delivered the fridge. Everything worked out fine; no problems. They came when they said, they dropped it off, and then left. They did price match, but we had to haggle first.
