THOMSON'S LANDSCAPING

Russ Thomson was attentive and respectful to our ideas but also gave us his professional opinion. His crew was very nice and respectful of our property and personal preferences. They were all very polite and paid attention to detail down to making sure the fence gates were closed when our dogs wanted to go out and expect their domain. They built a decorative retaining wall along the street side utilizing old stone from a flower bed we removed from the front. It really looks nice! Drainage lines were integrated into the wall which will lengthen it's life. The plantings are all new, so the big conclusion will be revealed in the spring. We will definitely use Russ and his team for any other landscaping needs we have in the future.

Very happy with work. Made several suggestions for the keeping of plants in yard. On time and the day that was scheduled.

They came out and did it all in one day and every body was nice to me. Their employees were very good, functional and easy to get along with. The work turned out excellent. I have had good comments from all my neighbors.

Jim is the designer who walked the property, made recommendations and provided the estimates. We asked for the work to be quoted as two estimates. We had to do the back yard re-grading and seeding, but theoretically could have cleaned up the landscaping ourselves. In the end we hired them for both projects because the estimates were so reasonable. Jim was punctual, professional, very knowledgeable. His quote on the re-grading/seeding was similar in price but very different in amount of fill dirt that had been quoted by Scot's last Fall. I called him about it and his explanation made a lot of sense: he thought we could use a lot of the existing soil and softly slope the lawn away from the house. The yahoo we hired last year had butchered it so badly, and had created a hard edge. It took longer to actually get on their calendar than we had hoped, but we foolishly tried to wait to get quotes from other landscapers. We were burned so badly last summer that we were trying to be overly cautious. When we did not get call backs from 3 other companies (even Scot's who had originally provided an estimate last Fall) we booked the work with Thomson's. Believe it or not, Scot's failed to respond to three separate calls AND a visit to their store by my husband. The projects were completed over two days and Jim was here at the beginning of each day to make sure the crew knew what was to be done. We had 4 different crew members There were a few things about completed work I was not quite comfortable with. Jim returned my call promptly and came out to do a walk through with me two days later. It was nothing major, but he agreed and said he would put in a work order for a return visit with no additional charge to us. We highly recommend Thomson's and will use them again.

It was a great place to select landscaping plants and shrubs for our house. The landscaping we had done two years earlier had many dead shrubs the following year. They were replaced and died again after this past winter. We went to Thomson's this year rather than the original landscapers; and are very happy with the plants and other items purchased.

.One man did an excellent job on a very hot and humid day. Everything was cleaned up after the work. Nothing was left except a very pretty yard. Thomson's does excellent work.

They did an excellent job. They cleaned up each day. Their work is more expensive than many but the finished product is great!

The services provided were wonderful. The workers trimmed the plantings and removed all of the debris to where it looked like that they were never even there. The lawn seeding came in a few weeks later and looks like a lush green carpet of grass.

Came in 8:30 in the morning and worked through lunch to get job done. Very friendly employees and answered any questions I had during job. Lift the job clean and neat. Recommend to others.

Thomson's Landscaping was pretty good but their prices were a little high.

They are very good. They are not cheap but they do good work.

We like them. Everything is fine and we always go back to them. Their prices are fair; they are as good as anybody else.
