He had $86,000 of my money and just barely had the shell. Left it during the winter with some kind of a paper product on the rafters of course that fell into the sub floor. Sub floor warped and he only had the sub floor nailed in four corners. We had to get a sander in and drill everything down. It has been a mess. I had about $12,000 just fixing his mistakes. Beside the attorney fees and all of that. When we figured it up, he had $44,860 of my money when he left. That is after we had another contractor come out here and give an estimate of what I had done and that. Then they gave me an estimate to fix the mistakes that he had. The original contract was for $206,000 to finish the whole thing, he never got that far. He left it in the house wrap I called him in the winter to see where he was. He said he had a couple of roofs to work on. I called back end of March, that is when he told me that he hated to tell me that he spent my money. So, in a couple of days I told him I would give him til April 28th to come back here, and if he wasn't back here I would go to the Sheriff. That's what I did, I stayed til noon and he never showed up. The price was going to be right for the whole thing, but he never finished it. One wall on the back side was 2 1/2" off from one side of the house to the other. Every roof joice was put on 16' centers but the other side was 18' nothing was center. He was never on time. Never an 8 hour day. I have a judgement through the court against him.

Took money worked a month and a half and never came back have a judgement through washington co. Judicial system For 105,000.00 dollars he then filed for bankrupcy and i will get virtualy nothing

I can't get him to come back and fix what isn't right. There are large gaps between the roof and the wood underneath so that birds can fly in. The downspouts for the gutters are not draining properly. His 16-year-old son did some caulking work which was not done correctly. I had to hire a lawyer. There is no communication between me and the contractor unless he wants to cuss at me. It will cost an additional $6350 to fix everything that was not done right the first time. We cannot even verify his licensing.
