Architectural Remodeling

I hired Rich to remodel my master bathroom in October of 2017. The shower, toilet and the sink have each leaked. Most recently, the sink began leaking. It took 4 calls over the course of four days to get Rich to come to my home and find the leak (the leak came from a fitting that he installed). Other leaks were caused by improper material used to built the shower floor and poor installation of the toilet. The ceiling in my lower level is now visibly water stained and has a hole that was cut to find the water leak. Per the contract, the job was to take 4 weeks, but ended up taking 12 because of various issues unrelated to my job. After 8 weeks, I began to pressure Rich to show up and work on the job, and he sent me an email at 2 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning to tell me that he was quitting my job and I would need to find someone else to complete my halfway finished bathroom remodel (by this point I had paid him 90% of the cost of the job). Aside from the leaks that have occurred, there were a number of issues with the quality of the materials used and the finishes completed. Many of the materials used (cabinets, bathroom vent, counter tops, etc) were not in the same material discussed when the job was quoted. The painting, trim work, and other items also had issues that I had to correct after the contractor 'completed' the job. I like Rich personally, however I have roughly zero confidence that my bathroom will not have issues in the future. I also do not have confidence that any issues can be resolved in a timely and professional manner.

The whole thing went very well, and I'm planning to hire this company for lots more work!

We hired Rich to install a few canned lights. At first, they all worked fine. Then we had one go out without explanation. We contacted Rich and he said he was busy and would find time to come out to take a look. He told us multiple times that he would show up at a particular date and time. Those times came and went with no communication. My last communication with Rich was on a day he said he would show up around a certain time. After a couple of hours I texted him to see where he was. His only response was that he was in Grove City. Of course he did not show up or communicate with us at all. Realizing that Rich was not going to stand behind his work, we hired a professional to come out and fix the issue. I would think twice about hiring this company. If things go well you will be good, but if there are issues, good luck getting them to stand behind their work.

i hired this company ; nice people ;whom were very helpful at the beginning of project; but maybe i paid too much up front; or maybe i was just too far away to bother to return to finish project.never returned to finish and just kept blowing me off each time i contacted them. i ended up hiring someone else to finish there work.

I hired Rich for two small projects. He did wonderful work at a great price. He's great if you can get him. After those two jobs I had him give me an estimate on a larger outdoor project (estimated at $2,400). He estimated it and then I couldn't get him to do the job. I had a couple of questions about the estimate but couldn't get him to respond to the questions. I finally got him to respond via text and he said he was booked for the summer. Asked him what his fall schedule was like or if he could recommend someone else. He didn't respond. I need the job done so I'm moving on to some one else. Wish I could get him again but it appears he's too busy or doesn't need the work. He did a great job for the things he did for me. He's great if you an get him but that's IF you can get him.

Fair price, great communication , showed up on time and did great work. The thing I liked most about Rich was when I showed him what needed done he explained to me what he was going to do to complete the job. For me, it was nice to know exactly what and how the work was going to be done. I will be having Rich back out to my home in the near future. Thanks Rich!
