+ -1 moreThe provider arrived at my home on the same day I called requesting service. I was experiencing an issue with the furnace safety switch kicking the furnace off due to lack of airflow. The Alum Creek technician, Colby, immediately found a kinked hose and examined the fule nodule. He explained the issue very in depth so I would understand what he was doing to remedy the issue. I asked him if he would mind doing regular maintenance while he was there and he was agreeable. I have used Alum Creek Heating and Cooling in the past for an AC issue. They were as responsive as they were this time. Both times they have provided service on my heating and cooling system I have been extremely satisfied with their work. I will continue to use them when I have heating and cooling needs in the future.
Description of Work: Unkinked the furnace fuel oil line, replaced fuel filter, replaced nodule, adjusted air flow.

+ -1 moreSince our system was under warranty we had it repaired by original installer, so Alum Creek didn't have to do the actual repair, but they were very helpful in determining the cause of the problem.
Description of Work: They helped troubleshoot a problem with our AC system not working by helping us find the exact location of a freon leak in the system.

The installation was professional - and they even came back after install a couple times to check out the unit to ensure it was working as it should for no charge.

+ -1 moreThe service was excellent. The technician showed up on time and very thoroughly inspected all our equipment. We had asked for an estimate for an outdoor sensor to perhaps improve when the heat pump went into and quot;emergencyand quot; (propane) mode. He explained how the thermostat controlled it now and, in fact, he observed it going into emergency mode on its own while he was there. I had some follow-up questions the next day. I called the main number, and within 15 minutes the technician called me back and patiently answered my questions.
Description of Work: Alum Creek provided a complete inspection and servicing of our heat pump / air conditioner and furnace.

+ -1 moreCalled to schedule service for a bad blower motor on my gas furnace. There was a tech in my area (Dan). He called before arriving and he was very professional while performing his work. He took the time to show me everything in detail as well as how to avoid future problems. Total time from my call to my furnace working again was less than 2.5 hours!! We could not be more pleased with the service Alum Creek Heating and Cooling provided. If I could give a higher mark than and quot;Aand quot; I would!!

Description of Work: Furnace turning on when A/C was selected. HVAC technician said mercury leaked out from outside thermostat(Road Runner cut wire), and shocked motor to get the unit going again. Said I was low on refrigerate.
