If this company cares as much about lawn irrigation as they did trying to save my dog, your lawn is going to be the best on the block, let me explain.... This past December, while grieving the loss of both my dogs, each passing away in less than six month of each other, I was heartbroken. For all the families with beloved pets you can only imagine how empty, lost, and lonely I found myself. Devestated by the decision to put both dogs down due to age & health issues, those joyful days before Christmas became unbarably lonely without my two fur babies. Family and friends were supportive and kind; reassuring me that come spring time, we would find another senior dog in need of a loving home to spend their golden years. I could only hold out about two weeks. Those four legged alarm clocks become such a part of your life, your routine, and somedays are the only source of unconditional love... there was just to much love in my heart to wait until Spring. I found myself meander off my regular drive home from work and stopped at an animal rescue in Fairlawn. I brought home another senior rescue dog that night - another Bichon who only knew the confines of a puppy mill. Having birthed many litters of puppies, at nine years old she couldn't breed as she once had, but she was still young and healthy enough to serve as my "emotional companion". The vet reminded me that rescuing a dog from a puppy mill would be a challenge but was confident our family could do it. Just like people, physical scars fade faster than the emotional ones. Merely glancing in Noel's big brown eyes you can sense her fear and hesitation to be loved. We bonded very fast but the next hurdle has been separation anxiety. She's made progress in that she's adjusted to our family, she's more comfortable in public, at home she's playful and more "doglike" but still cant grasp the concept of milkbones or squeeky toys. Noel is curius and will follow family members around faithfully yet she is still deathly afraid of any humans touch, anyone besides me. It's sad to watch her be confused by human affection. With me she is expressive and energtic, but she still shuns the touch of her human grandparents and her human brother/roommate. There are good days and bad - which brings me to how the story relates to an irrigation company. Noel has also recently discovered she likes to run, those little legs were kept behind a pen for far too long. As I had just left for work this morning, I assume she was waiting by the door for me to come back and carry her to the car, as we normally do somedays. Today though I had an early meeting so she'd have to hang out at home alone for a few hours. We did our morning thing, a quick walk, breakfast, the debate on whether to poop in the basement (an unfortunate but necessary stinky habit for small dogs that get swallowed up by snow) or in the yard on that plush green grass that stains her white little paws. Today I won, she agreed with me, "poo-poo is better outside". So on went her little gray anxiety Thundershirt, a few fresh squirts of her "calmer dog-pheromone" spray, as did the soothing sounds of spa music on the satellite radio. I told her I'd be right back, I was going to work, and "be a good girl" before all **** broke lose. A few minutes later, when her human brother/housemate came home and opened the door - out she went, running to her favorite telephone pole but then straight back to our front porch. However, because she is still scared of anyone but me picking her up or even approaching her, my brother didn't have a chance in **** to get her back in the house. Nobody would. Suddenly though, the real chase just begun, she darted up and down the street, around the block onto a very busy main road during morning rush hour. Jetting around cars through the street, big brother could barely keep up. She crossed the street, ran between backyards slipping out of my brothers grasp any time he get a hold of her. He finally chased her down a quiet side street, Monica Lane, and just about gave up the chase. She was losing speed, probably scared and confused, yet she just kept running. Sunshine Irrigation was also on Monica Lane and didnt want this to have to come to a sad ending. "Get in the truck! We'll help you get her, c'mon!" So they did. With their help, finally a 250 lb guy was able to catch a 10 pound dog. Actually it took three guys and a truck to catch a 10 pound dog. At last they had her cornered and got the leash on her. I cringe at the thought of losing a third pet in less than a year. Little did those two Sunshine Irrigation employees know, what they really saved was my heart. Compassionatly they drove Noel and my brother back home. Grateful for their help, my brother offered the two guys whatever little cash he had on him, "at least take a few bucks and get yourself some lunch". Nope, they would not take it. "We did it for the dog". If this is what Sunshine Irrigation does for a crazy confused dog, can you even imagine what they'll do for your lawn? I'd say your in pretty good hands with Sunshine Irrigation. In fact, I'd bet my dogs life on it. Thank you Sunshine Irrigation Sincerely, Paula, my brother Charlie & of course a little dog named Noel. Xo

They are a very nice company. My landscaper actually recommended them so I heard good things about them. They were professional and courteous. They showed up on time and they didn’t try to sell me stuff I didn’t need. We didn’t use them because it was just timing and we decided to do a different house project instead.
Description of Work: Sunshine Irrigation gave me a quote to install a sprinkler in our property.

quick and efficient with little disruption to my yard
Description of Work: Sunshine irrigation did sprinkler work for us on two separate occasions. Several years ago they installed a sprinkler system in our front yard and last fall they installed one in our back yard. Both times, the installation was very professionally done. What disruption there was to the garden beds was completely restored to the original state when the job was finished. They took time to explain how to operate the system and the company has always been available to answer any questions I have about the workings of the system. I highly recommend their work.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, HE JUST SHOWS UP AT OUR HOUSE. YOU CAN CALL HIM AND HE WILL SAY NEXT TIME HE IS IN THE AREA HE WILL COME, I TELL HIM TO CALL AND HE DOESNT HE JUST SHOWS UP. ONCE SHOWED UP ON SATURDAY AT 9 P.M. AND WANTED TO WORK. LAST TIME HE CAME IN THE SUMMER, MY HUSBAND HAD CALLED 3 TIMES FOR HIM TO COME, HE SAID HE WOULD COME AND WE WENT OUT TO DINNER. HE SHOWED UP ON A SUNDAY WHILE WE WERE GONE, AND WANTED ACCESS TO THE HOUSE AND MY SON SAID NO. THE MAN GOT VERY ANGRY AT HIM AND STARTED SWEARING AT HIM. SO MY SON TRACKED US DOWN AT THE RESTAURANT AND HE WAS REALLY UPSET. EVIDENTLY, HE CAME 2 MONTHS BEFORE AND SAID HE WOULD BE COMING TO COLLECT ON THE MONEY SO THEN IT BECAME AN ISSUE OF MONEY BECAUSE WE NEVER GOT A BILL. LAST WEEK SHOWS UP AT MY HOME AT 8:30 AND TOLD HIM I DIDNT WANT HIM IN MY HOUSE AGAIN OR ON MY PROPERTY AGAIN. WHEN I SHUT THE DOOR HE ASKED WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND I EXPLAINED HOW HE HAD BEEN RUDE TO MY SON.
Description of Work: WHEN WE BOUGHT OUR HOUSE, THEIR STICKER WAS ON THE HOUSE. SO WE DECIDED TO USE THEM FOR MAINTENANCE AND WINTERIZATION OF THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM.
