Reached out for a estimate and was contacted back with a reply that it is not a repair they wanted to do. Guess they don’t need the money . Why advertise if you don’t want to work?

We had five foot fence installed yesterday by Northeast. Rich and Roger came out first thing in the morning and the fence was done by 2:00. It looks absolutely terrific!!!! We are so pleased and can't believe now we waited so long to get a fence. Several of my neighbors have also had fences installed by Northeast, which is where I got their name, and we have all been very pleased. I would highly recommend them and their product. They know what they are doing!!!!

We had originally gotten a quote with Ron back in the end of June and signed our contract in July. We were told it would be 6-8 weeks which I’m was fine because we weren’t in a rush. Then everything got messed up with COVID and it ended up being a little longer due to the wood shortage. The only negative I have about that is the lack of communication letting us know it would be pushed back. I had to call multiple times to get an answer. Again, it wasn’t a problem but I appreciate when people just communicate with me about progress or setbacks. Last week, November 3 they sent out a crew of young men to set the posts and remove the old fencing. While the posts they set were great and I had no issues with that, they left a ton of posts still in the ground and a mess on our side yard. They left rolled up fencing and metal poles along with tons of the little spirals of fencing all around our yard. We had the salesmen back out to verify that they would be removing the stumps of the old fence they left as it didn’t seem like they should have left them. He agreed that they would be removed and he was not happy with their cleanup either. We had the final fence install yesterday, November 10 and I am beyond thrilled with their work. They were amazing! This crew was so easy to work with and they really did an excellent job. Buddy walked me around our property and made sure I knew what would be taken care of. Nick and Joe were also awesome! They had to deal with a hard neighbor and handled it very well and professional. It was such a different experience with these three gentleman than we had last week with the other crew. They cleaned up all their mess and ended up fixing the mistakes of the last crew too. You can tell that they treated my property like it was their own. We are so thrilled with how great our fence looks and I would recommend them in a heartbeat! Thank you Buddy, Nick and Joe! You are 5 stars in my book!

The work that was performed looks very good - but the communication was, and continues to be, very poor. After we accepted the quote we were told 4-5wks on the job to begin, but the job took 13wks. I honestly didn't care that the work was delayed because of Covid, I was in no rush. What I cared very much about was the fact I had to personally call in multiple times to get my own updates as to when the work would begin instead of the other way around. I then had more fence installed to complete the entire job on my property. You called me a day prior and said you would be out the next day to finish, and you never showed up...no call or anything, radio silence. After this was finally completed I received the invoice and an email stating you would just charge the card on file, to which I responded and said no problem and asked for the receipt to confirm the payment. The money was withdrawn out of my account, no receipt was provided. Fast forward a few days and I receive a call asking when I would be paying the invoice! I inform you the money came out almost 2 wks prior and to this very moment I still have yet to have any confirmation that this was resolved. Again, happy with the install, very displeased with the communication.

It went well. The fence took 2 days to install. Day one set the posts and a week later after the concrete dried they finished the rest. Fence looks really nice and before you read on I want to be clear. They really did a nice job from what I can tell. Fence looks great and I would definitely hire them again. With that being said there is always room for improvement, so the only reason they got a B and not an A. - I was very clear that I wanted to be there when they came out to set the posts. The main office calls me the day before saying "we will be out tomorrow to start the job". Well they got lucky that I happened to be available that day or the response would have been no. - I think they could have made my job of cleaning up the job site a little easier if there was less concrete spilled onto things. It is like pulling gum out of hair to get dried concrete out of the grass and hosing / brushing it off the posts. I've never done a lot of pouring concrete so maybe its the best that could be done, I don't know. - The contract states balance due upon completion and I guess I didn't take that literally enough because they charged my card without my authorization immediately upon completion. Personally I don't think that is right. There should be a phone call involved here or something should have been said when I made the down payment. What if I didn't want the remaining balance on that card? What if you just over-drafted my account? Why and how are you storing my card info? Maybe this all just due to my own ignorance but NEO Fence if you read this maybe consider making a change in this regard. Salesman gets an A, I contacted Heather that I wanted a fence and we set up a day for Scott the sales rep to come out and discuss the job / answer any questions. Scott was on time, called me he was on his way and texted me upon arrival just as I asked. I would say he certainly had the skills of a salesman. He was personable, friendly, and answered all my questions no issues. After he left I had follow up questions and he did a good job of getting back to me very quickly even if it was after normal business hours.

We received a quote after a representative came to measure and go over fencing options. We were told that we would have to get the yard surveyed if we wanted a precise boundary for the fence. After the quote was received (in November) we were informed that the manufacturer may not deliver materials until January. We determined this would be okay. So, we submitted our down payment. After several weeks, we had not heard anything and our check remained not cashed. I emailed and called with no response until a week later stating that they would keep us updated. A couple months later, we finally heard that they would be cashing the down payment check and would be out within a week. We were given a date and notified our neighbors, only to be called again delaying for another week. After the installation, we were somewhat pleased with the outcome of the fence - minus an area that was very lop-sided. Also, as the contract stated, they did not remove the dirt from the digging. Additionally, our yard was littered with plastic ties and cigarette butts. This was very disappointing. I would give this company an "F" for communication, "B" for work done, and "F" for after installation. Never once did they call to see if we were happy with the work. I would warn anyone to be careful about the company that you choose for such a large and expensive project. Nevertheless, we are happy the fence is up.

NEO Fence quickly contacted me, and showed up to give me an estimate. They told me it would be about 3 weeks until they could install it, but it took 6 weeks. The job was then completed quickly. I am pleased with how it turned out.

Couldn't put up fence where it was needed. The salesman was very truthful about everything. Would recommend this co. To every!

These guys are the best. I had a gate post settle over the winter and they came out and fixed it - even painted the hardware so it all matched - all under warranty. I would hire or recommend them in a heartbeat.

Northeast Ohio Fence did a great job from start to finish. We ran into some issues with city due to the previous fence being out of code. We were able to get creative and make some alterations to keep the job on track. They also tore out my neighbor's fence which had tree and brush intertwined. They blendend my fencing into my neighbor's fence seamlessly. The foreman Mike did an amazing job and the end result was amazing. Top notch organization from the owner to sales to installers. I would highly recommend them.

The new fence is awesome, tore down the old fence and hauled it away, straightened the metal posts on chain link gate installed a new drop down rod, they made sure my escape artist dog will not be able to dig under this fence. They took time to listen to us and went beyond what was necessary to make sure we were happy with their work!

The crew removed our old fence and installed a new one in it's place. The work was done quickly and for a fair price. Our new fence looks beautiful.

Bob Lewis handled the process for me. He did a great job, and helped me navigate Cleveland Height's process which required me to appear before the Architectural Board of Review. Once I had the required approvals, they had the fence up in less than two weeks. The installed fence is roughly `160 feet of six foot wooden privacy fencing. The fence is beautiful. Very even, no unusual gaps between the pickets, and the wood is all a uniform color. The crew also dealt with some bushes and tree limbs in the way, as well as various elevation changes that I thought was going to cause a problem. The crew also professionally handled a very angry neighbor who was not happy about the fence going up. If I had been on a job site under the same circumstances I'm not sure I would have stuck around!

Overall, I am very happy with the way my driveway gate looks. Sales staff, office staff and installers were very professional. Communication could be better between sales staff , fabricators and customer prior to installation.

I debated on leaving a review for this company because of the way the owner reacts to unfavorable reviews (peruse through BBB, yelp and here and you’ll see what I mean). We knew fairly early on that signing this contract with NEO was a mistake. Poor communication of install date, being lied to about why the installers couldn’t install on the date promised, the list goes on. I’d welcome the chance to attach ALL documentation we have but Angie’s list limits me to only 10 attachments and only 10,000 words. To sum up our review... 1. Poor communication 2. Poor handling of our final payment 3. Illegal threats by owner to collect the final payment by threatening to come on our property and remove the fence (!!!!) 4. Lies from the owner I’ve attached the transcripts of the owners voicemails where he threatens to come onto our private property and remove our installed, attached to our house, fence that is considered real estate property by law. This man doesn’t give up when he is wrong. He instructed us to give the installers a post dated check (we wanted split payment or postponement of final install) because we were never properly notified of an estimated date of install (have documentation of this as well) We received an email less than 24 hours before they told us they were coming. The owner deposited the check earlier than agreed upon. We were told by the salesman that the owner would contact us in two days to offer a remedy. Never happened. Caused a mess of problems for us. Owner doesn’t reach out to us to offer any remedy, bullies us and threatens us to enter our property and remove the installed fence, because he claims his contract states he can do that. His contract is for materials left behind, not illegally removing someone’s fence. I can’t make this stuff up. His story changes with every voicemail, email and rebuttal to BBB. I’d welcome the chance for him to respond to this review so I can show documentation of every lie. Folks, the cheap comes out expensive. Stay away from this business and pay the extra money for a reputable company that knows the laws and wouldn’t threaten a family with small children that he will take their fence down illegally. I’m including voicemail transcripts as well as a text from the salesman that tells us to postdate a check which was never our option. We can’t even address the boards that need replaced and issues with the actual install because of all this.

From the start to finish, each member at Northeast Ohio Fence & Deck was professional, kind and excellent in their service, and they listened carefully to our needs throughout the process. Our fence looks great and was installed with great care and quality. We're very glad that we hired them for our home needs. Angie's List reviews were also helpful in our initial selection of their company.

The service was phenomenal. The workers did a really good job. But my complaint is actually with the owner. The fence company came to take down my old fence and I had a lot of debris and I was going to get rid of it and I asked them if by any chance for them to take the debris out and the foreman said "Don't worry about it, don't worry about it." So we did not discuss any financial thing for it. So everything was done and after two days, after they leave I got a phone call an hour later from the sales person who said his boss advised him that they are going to charge me $500.00. The owner called right away and is not very kind to me. He did not even ask me about the service on the debris and just told me that I will pay them the $500.00. He was very nasty to me and on the conversation I was crying there. He even said "You're gonna be dumb enough to think that we would do that for free." But for the owner, he is getting an F for the overall experience, quality of the service, and professionalism.

Their estimator, Hank, came to measure and price out a fence. He said he would email me the estimate, which never happened. I called the company, and they instructed me to call Hank to find out what was going on (why am I calling around to find out why your employees arent doing their job?). Hank never did answer, return my call, or email me an estimate. Don't waste your time on these "professionals".

I met with about 7 other fencing companies before having Bob from Northeast Ohio Fence come out to give me a quote. He was the only one to come up with a great idea on how to avoid needing multiple permits and by doing this, also made the fence look a million times better. Bob was great to work with and had many ideas that I (and other companies) didn’t think of. The fence was installed weeks before the original estimate and looks great. There were a few minor issues with the fence after installation but they were taken care of quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them in the future.

We contracted Northeast Ohio Fence & Deck Inc. to install our privacy fence in our new home back in Sept 2017. We chose the Bufftech Vinyl Fence Lexington style in almond. Less than 2 months after installation two sections of the fence fell down. We contacted them to repair the two sections and were told that we it was due to high winds and that they don’t warranty the fence for 40 mph or higher winds and that it was an act of God. We live in NE Ohio and 40 mph are not uncommon. In addition, we were never told at the time of the estimate that it would not withstand more than 40 mph winds. Had they told us this we would not have chosen this product. They did send the sales person out to look at the damage and it was found that one of the clips that hold the panels to the post was missing. They gave us a quote to get the panels repaired. Whilst waiting for the quote my husband was able to replace the clip with one of the spares they left us. Upon repairing one of the sections that fell down, my husband noticed that the panels were cut a little shorter than the height needed to fit in to the horizontal piece that runs across the top of the panels which could be why the panels fell down. We emailed the sales person to let him know this finding and asked for someone to be sent out to take a look and to get it fixed for us. We never received a reply. If you are considering using Northeast Ohio Fence & Deck Inc., please think again as they don’t warranty their work and the installation is not done properly. Once they have been paid, you’re on your own!
