Contacted NEO, they came out gave me an estimate, and got me on their schedule. Due to a rainy period it took longer than they originally expected, but they kept me informed when they would be there.

The company provided an very good estimate and explanation of how the work would be performed. They were accurate with their estimated start date and confirmed the start date prior to starting the project. The duration of the project was very acceptable. The posts went up, later that week they constructed the fence panels and installed the gate for the drive way. There was a problem with the gate shortly after the project was completed but they returned within a day or two to address the problem, which I was very pleased with.

The fence looks great and is sturdy and is exactly what we needed. We love the inner fence that defines our dog run area. We've gotten compliments from our neighbors about our new fence. NE Ohio Fence started the project within a week of the completion of the landscaping. They dug holes and set the posts in concrete. We were expecting that they would be back in a few days after the concrete hardened (some of the days were quite warm). But they didn't come back until 7 days later to run the fencing. That seemed like a long time to us and indicates how the communication side of the project was not what we expected. Communication usually occurred when we initiated the call. They returned our calls promptly however. After the fencing was run, we noticed that dead man gate was not attached to the side of the house and the dogs had tried to push the gate open. We called to ask if the gate could be closed and they agreed (at no additional cost). They came and did the extra work without calling in advance and without letting us know it had been adjusted. But It is doing the job fine now.

Jim Randall (owner) came to the house and provided an estimate. His estimate was a little less than another estimate we had received. Jim also gave us addresses of a couple of his other customers for whom he had built similar fences. We checked out two of those addresses and liked what we saw. We paid a third down for Jim's company to start the work and paid the remaining 2/3 when the work was complete. About a week after the fence was up, there were a couple boards that had split. Jim said that sometimes happens on new fences. He promptly replaced them, and also left a couple extra boards if it happened again (it didn't). This was a very positive experience and we would definitely recommend this company to others looking to build a new fence.

They did exactly what we wanted, and it came out very well. Other folks came out to give us estimates, but they offered the best value and highest rating. I think though that they were a victim of their own success and popularity. We cut the deal and deposit in May but the fence didn't go up for nearly two months later. We were fine to wait, but communication wasn't the best because their business was overwhelmed with jobs. That's just a problem that good companies run into because they aren't built to scale with the popularity and attention Angie's list can provide, so I don't fault them too much for that.

We were happy with their services! Jeremy, the employee who I spoke with, always got back to me. They told me when they’d be there and called beforehand if there were any changes; they had great communication. The two technicians who installed the fence were nice, friendly, and quick. They were reasonably-priced and worth it!

Called several times and never had a response

I called for service which took about three weeks to have done. A worker came out and fixed the problem in about 30 minutes. He was polite and efficient.

The estimator came when scheduled and the estimate was given in a very professional manner which detailed specifically what they were going to do. They called on the day of installation first to say they were not coming (because it was raining); then again to say they were coming (because it stopped raining). I work quite a ways from home - so this would have been inconvenient except for the fact that my daughters were visiting from out of town and were at home. The work was completed as specified - no more sagging fences. The workmen were pleasant. I had tried to remove as much greenery as possible from close to the fence - a few things I missed; they took down with no extra charge. My only complaint was they didn't do a very good job of cleaning up after themselves - many small pieces of fencing were found in the yard (I have a picture on my phone if anyone is interested). My 'grand-dogs' were also visiting so this could have been a problem (paws are tender). I did do a thorough walk along and picked up every thing I could find so I felt comfortable letting the dogs outside. No children in the house; but this would have been a concern as well.-

The workers were friendly and professional, the work was completed very quickly. They also did an excellent job cleaning up the work area.

I am so grateful to have hired this company. From the start I was involved in the prossess. I was able to make some decisions after listening to their experienced suggestions. I am also a gardener and the installers took extra care to manouver around the landscaping. I was given excellent advise on how and when to stain the new fencing. I am so pleased that I am having Northeast Fencing build us a deck to finish our back yard in the spring. I will recommend this company to as many people as I can. It has been a true pleasure.

Overall things went pretty well. I worked with Rick, one of the owners, through the entire process and he was great to deal with. We had some issues with one of my neighbors during the permit pulling process which delayed us probably about a month and a half, but NEO Fence worked with us to get the work done as soon as possible. We ran into an issue with the location of the posts, but they came out and re-set them and got them into a position that would work better. While we weren't able to get the work completed as soon as we had hoped, in the end, we're happy with the product and I would use them again!

I three companies provide estimates. All three estimates were close but this company was the most impressive. We had a deadline we wanted for getting the fence done and they guaranteed me they would make it. In fact, they completed the project early by working around the 4th of July holiday. The crew was very professional and they did a great job. I was impressed with their site cleanup as well. I am very pleased with their work and have received many compliments on the fence. We will use this company again without hesitation.

The salesman/ estimator was knowledgeable and respectful. He kept his appointments and gave an accurate estimate of when the work would be done. The work was done as specified and the fence looks great!

Excellent service from start to finish: courteous, communicative, reliable, and professional. They were not the lowest bid, but the quality of their service and work more than made up the difference.

Called NEO Fence & Deck for an estimate to fence in the rear yard. Jeremy promptly came out, measured the yard and provided an estimate. We had wanted the job completed for our granddaugter's birthday party on May 5. Jeremy indicated that he would try to have the work completed by that date, but included on the estimate that if that wasn't possible, then work would be started after that date. We were happy that the work was stated and completed before the party. We would definitely recommend NEO Fence and Deck to others.

They do great work. They're prompt, on time, and courteous. Their A-rating is good with me. They did a good job. They're getting ready to do our front porch soon. They do excellent work.

Made a call for an estimate. Rick promptly returned the call and gave us an estimate within a week or so, which included a diagram of the fence so we were able to see just what work they would do. We had some questions based on the diagram and someone called back and answered our questions to our satisfaction. We agreed to have the work done by them. They told us it might take a few weeks before they could do the work since they were quite busy. About three weeks later the fence was back up. We were happy about that, but noticed there were a few pickets that we expected to be replaced, that where not. Called them back and spoke with Jim who was pleasant and assured us that they would get back out to replace more pickets. They did as promised without any hassle, or additional charge. Overall we are pleased with the work. We will see how the fence holds up during any heavy winds but we have faith that it will. Thanks, Rick, Jim and all who did their part. P.S. The rating on quality does not reflect the actually work but is contingent on if all holds up during heavy winds. Otherwise, we can say this company does excellent work!

They did a wonderful job. I had gotten three prices, which I usually do. The one company gave me a better price, but they couldn't do it as quickly. This company matched the price and did it more expediently. Within two weeks time, I had the fence in.

They had on their contract that they were a part of Angie's List. They had to repair 20 feet on the fence and put up two gates and then they also put some posts in the ground. It was a father and son that did this work on my rental property. The son also came and did some work for me at my own home and he put up a gate at my home and charged me $285.00. They have done work for me before years ago; they had put up a fence for me that is why I called them again. I will continue to use them again in the future if needed.

Beginning in 2011, we solicited several estimates to re-fence our backyard and, even though all estimates were within $200 (and just a few feet of materials) of each other, Jeremy at NEO Fence stood out as the best choice as his fencing design and solution was the most attractive for our property. We have a pretty unique backyard with an elevated lot, multi-level terrain and lots of rock; Jeremy didn't seem at all phased and I found it comforting that it would be 'his' crew and not subcontractors that will perform the work. He thoroughly explained the process to us and made sure we understood all of the options for the fencing.He has been very patient with us, as it's taken us a few months to make up our mind and also to save up the money for the project. We just signed the contract and work will begin in late May/early June (my husband and I requested the later start date; Jeremy made it clear they could have accommodated the work at any time). I have every reason to believe we'll be able to write a positive follow up review after the fence is completed.

I called on Friday March 23 to have a fence put up on one side of my yard where the neighbor has a wooden fence that is now in need of much repair. I have a brown vinyl coated anchor chain on three sides of my yard already. They came out that very day and quoted me the price and gave me the Angies list discount and said they would be back the next week. They came out the following Tuesday and installed the poles and today Friday the 30th and one week after I called the fence is installed! They are a courteous and call before they come, clean up after themselves and I would highly recommend them.

They provided excellent service and highly recommend them. Our overall experience with them has been good.

Our initial contact was with Jim who called me on my cell phone after receiving my voice mail on their office phone. Jim was able to take my information so that we could have someone come out and give us an estimate. Later that day I received a phone call from Rick the owner asking when I would be available. Rick was very attentive and responsive. Rick and I made an appointment to meet at my home for the estimate. Rick was not only on time but he was early and had called my cell to tell me that he would be a few minutes early. Rick was very professional and never tried to over sale any items or services that I did not need. He was also very informative when it came to the different options and the maintenance of the fence. We concluded the estimate and Rick told me and my wife exactly the date that they would be able to start building the fence. On the appointment date we received another call from Rick confirming the appointment. The two service guys showed up on time and introduced themselves giving me an estimated time that they would finish. They completed the fence long before the time that they had stated. The fence is absolutely beautiful and solidly built! The guys cleaned up the area before they left and were patient enough to allow me a chance to do a review of the fence before they left my property. We were so pleased with the work that we have already called for an additional estimate for a gate!
