Mark THE HEATING & A/C GUY

Mark and his apprentice took our job and were on site within in about 90 minutes of our initial contact. He spend 20 minutes on the phone with us asking all the right questions about the project, so once on site he was able to get right to work without any delay. They worked quickly, efficiently and professionally. Their rates were fair and they were able to complete our project in 5 hours. We would definitely use him again as well as recommend him to others.

HE added the Freon, sped up the motor, then he looked at the unit and noticed the capacitor was about to blow. He fixed all of that for$300.00 and I have a very old unit. He told me that my unit is nice and he can probably fix most things on it for me. He recommended that I call him in about 3 weeks to check my Freon and seal it which I did today and he said I lost about 5-7% so he sealed it for me and he said I should be good. Mark can usually come out the same day you need him and he will show you everything that is going on and will explain everything to you. I would highly recommend him and he is not the one to tell you that you need a new unit. I thought he would tell me that but he said to me I am here to try and fix it for you. I have told everyone at work that if they need ac for furnace service, I have the perfect person for the job.

I called Mark after seeing his Craigslist ad and he was able to quote me a decent price and get out here the same day for the install. I bought the AC from Lowes and they were going to have me wait at least 10 days to have it put in. Given how blazing hot it's been in my new apartment, I'm glad Mark was available so quickly. My apartment window did not work with the brackets Lowes said they were "required" to sell me, but he was able to make it fit securely without them. All said, in an hour or so I was up and running. Great work by a friendly guy.

Wonderful business showed up promptly, was professional, fixed as much as was possible, gave us advice on the future problems, recommended shopping around for parts that we will probably need. Polite, knowledgeable, will definitely use in the future if I have to (crossing my fingers I will NOT have to)

Arrive on time or earlier, checked furnace informed me what was wrong, corred the problem. I would use them again.

My experience with Mark was awesome. He and his team are all very professional and knowledgeable. He provided me with options to fix my ancient furnace or purchase a much needed new one. He never once pushed a new furnace on me- he provided me with all the needed information so I could make the best decision for me and I selected the new furnace. He was able to provide a direct dealer discount on the furnace. My elderly neighbor had a question concerning her new furnace (which was not purchased from Mark) but Mark still took time to explain the answer to her question and he even offered to stop over to her house if she needed assistance. I would highly recommend Mark and his crew!!

I called Mark in for a second opinion and estimate on a broken furnace. Another highly rated company on Angie's List had just left giving me a $3000+ estimate to replace the furnace as it was "beyond repair", after spending about an hour (and a $95 charge) tinkering with it. Mark spent about 10 minutes, figured out what was wrong - apparently a relay switch need replacement - fixed it in another 15 and was on his way. Mark also recommended a better filter for the furnace and showed me how to replace it. Excellent job, professional and very fairly priced. Would definitely recommed to anyone who is not looking to be fleeced by one of these big service companies.

He did the work. He explained the filters and what I should do about replacing them, and showed me how to do it. He also replaced a switch, and gave good advice on who to go to for air duct cleaning.

Mark found me on Craigslist as I made a post looking to replace a boiler in a rental property. I was very hesitant to do business with service persons through Craigslist, but I needed the job done rather quickly. Mark replied to my post and was persistent about performing the job, and provided referrals from prior jobs, as well as, reviews from Angie's list. He assured me that I could purchase the materials with my financing and he would pick up. In fact, he called me from the supply house and put me on the phone with the counter person to make the purchases. He worked late and followed through on the job to complete it before cold weather set in. He was respectful to my tenant and her kids and is truly a man of his word. I would highly recommend as Mark can be trusted....what he says, he does. no price change at the end of the job, no surprises. Thanks again, Mark!

He spent a good half hour on furnace, tested his work thoroughly, he was timely, polite and very helpful.

i called mark and he came right out i wanted to have my furnace checked out because i just bought the house over the summer and wanted to see what kind of condition it was in.and give me a estimate for replacing it. i figured since i just bought the house and i might rent it out i did not want any problems i the near future with it.but when mark took a look at it he said that the furnace looked pretty good and told me that it was about 10 years old and since it was a gas furnace that he would not have it replaced because it should last another 5 to 10 years if i keep it maintained every year.i was IMPRESSED that he did not try to take advantage of the fact that i was prepared to buy a new one and that he convinced me to keep the one i had.i do not think that their are a lot of honest repair man out there but i will have to say mark is one of them.i hate guys who always try to upsell you on everything. mark is the type of guy who will will service only what you need.

After receiving several quotes to provide air conditioning in our near century old home we found Mark “The Heating Guy” to be the most knowledgeable and cost efficient choice. Mark provided several options for whole house A/C systems as well as creative solutions to assist in dealing with the very unique architecture of the home while maintaining the original esthetics and charm. The installation of the whole house air conditioner system including all new duct work and was scheduled and installed over just a few days. Both Mark and Darryl were extremely professional, courteous and prompt. As the construction progressed they both took the time to answer any questions we had and explain the different steps they needed to take to complete the install. Towards the end of the project my wife and I found ourselves looking for other items that the company could assist us with due to their high quality of work and fair prices. We scheduled a time for Mark to both replace our hot water tank as well as provide additional venting in our attic. These services were provided with the same top notch quality experience as the A/C installation. I have recommended Mark’s services to my closest friends and family.

Mark gave me quotes on several small jobs around our new home. We selected one job to do now and prioritized the others for down the road. They came prepared and did the job in less time than they thought. I gave them a tip for getting done so fast and for doing such a good job cleaning up.
