Dan The Cabinet Man

Dan came to the house on a Tuesday evening and spent more than 2 hours helping my wife and me choose cabinets for our new kitchen. Dan provided us with resources and allowed us the time and his expertise to make the best decision for us. He was patient and thorough and was able to show us on his computer what they would look like before leaving. Dan came when he said he would and never left until he had done as much as he could. He fixed it so we could continue to use our kitchen sink during the installation as some of the cabinets had to be removed a week or more in advance for work related to water damage behind the existing cabinetry. This was a huge advantage. He even loaned us his saw horses for weeks as ours were not high enough. Dan knew that we wanted this done as the holiday was approaching. Dan came on a Thursday, stayed at least 12 hours, came Friday for as much, (we had pizza on Friday I think!). Now comes the cool stuff. Dan came on Saturday, at my wife's request even though he had plans for that weekend. He came back on Sunday to finish up so we would be ready for the floor to be put in before Thanksgiving. Dan helped me with some extra work of moving outlets around and put then new microwave in for us to. He adjusted the dishwasher and the sink changed the sink plumbing for the dishwasher to make thing simpler and a host of other things that I can't recall. Amazing! Dan was detailed oriented and never cut corners. He spent the extra time and effort to make sure it was right. That includes replacing cabinet doors twice because they were not exactly the right shade, each time returning. Dan would not take any money up front, stating that he didn't want payment until the job was done and we were completely satisfied. I have to admit I did pay him prior to finishing as there were issues with the flooring which delayed his ability to finish the job. Dan worked with the flooring company to make sure they were on the same page regarding the trim. Dan has returned a number of times and tonight will finally finish after a month or more of delays that he was not responsible for. The cabinets are beautiful, just what we wanted. Thanks Dan!
