He has done work for us in the past and did decent job. However, he never has supplies handy. Recently he asked us for money before doing any work. We gave him $100 to start with. Then he came back and asked for $200 more because his wife needed dental work. We gave him the money, and then he never returned our phone calls. I am now taking him to court to get my money back. I have also reported him to the Better Business Bureau.

Overall, the house looks good. The painter discovered a rotten part in the wall between two different height roofs and repaired it. Mr. Edmond's father repaired the trim of my bay window and did a wonderful job. However, I was dissatisfied that the job took five weeks for a mostly brick house. The painters came one or two days a week. They would promise to return the next day but not show up. They would promise to "finish this week" but not follow through. If the contractor is overbooked, I would prefer a realistic assessment of job delivery. Moreover, the detail work was shoddy. They painted all the outdoor outlet covers closed. This summer, we had to pry open all the windows that had been painted shut. They had promised to come back last summer and take care of that but did not. They power-washed the patio but ran out of solution and did not finish the job. They stained the wooden decks and walkways. The stain is already wearing off the deck.
