He and his 2 helpers were very prompt and cleaned up everything, but the quality of work was poor. Boards left too long or cut too short. Lattice work was terrible. We will need to redo. They were very rough on our other deck wood, leaving gouges. They used a nail gun that left splinters instead of deck screws. Daryl said he would return to look at it but we haven't seen him. All we want from him at this time is one board removed that he cut short, and a new 16' board, and we will put it down with deck screws and cut it to the correct length. We will eventually fix the shoddy lattice work ourselves. Too bad he didn't come back to at least do that much for us. Lost all faith in him.

Daryl did a very good job. He was prompt and professional. I will call him again, I highly recommend his company.

Called on a Tuesday and he came out on a Friday. Said he would be at least 3 weeks to do the work, no problem. He also stated he just purchased a restaurant so he was very busy. No problem. He said he'd call Monday with a quote. By Wednesday, I called him to see if he had the quote, he answered the phone as if he wasn't happy to hear from me, stated he hadn't even looked at it and would do so tonight and call me later this evening. I asked if I would receive a call later that evening, to make sure I heard him correctly, and he said yes and hung up. That was the last I heard from him. His ad states if he can't do the job, or would prefer not to do the job, he would let you know and even suggest someone else. Him avoiding calling was a complete waste of 2 weeks of my time and highly unprofessional. I hope this does not reflect a representation of how he intends to serve his new customer base at his restaurant.

I wouldn't call him again because he waited until just before he was due and then called. He didn't even offer to make another time or recommend anyone else. The price he quoted was fair, but he said he was unable to do the job because his back was out.

Installation of two basement glass block windows with vents. Price was competitive based on several local quotes and I try to use local tradesmen and small businesses whenever possible. Work quality was good. Daryl and Jason were friendly. No major complaints but a few items keep me from giving top scores. Communication could have been better. I called the Wednesday before installation as I had not heard from him for several weeks after sending my deposit check. It was then he told me he'd be over Monday at 9 am to install the windows. While I understand the windows were custom ordered and taking longer than initially expected, short notice could be problematic for someone with a less flexible schedule. Daryl arrived between 9:30 and 10 am. Cleanup should have been more thorough. The mortar pan was rinsed in my utility sink. This would have been fine if they had rinsed the mortar from the sink and made sure the drain remained open. I didn't find the problem until later that evening and ended up having to unclog the chunks of mortar from the drain and scrub away a thick layer of mortar coating the sink. They swept the floor but left many mortar drips. They also left the old windows on my curb saying someone would come by to pick them up for scrap/recycling. They disappeared after a couple days. My husband was not pleased about this and felt they should have cleaned up better, removing all demolition and rubbish.

The job took 2 day since there was dry walling and mudding involved. They were prompt with their arrival and did the work in the time that was estimated. We are very pleased with the work and would hire them again.

Repairs made were completed satisfactory. In order to do the repairs it was necessary to remove part of the ceiling. The leak was fixed and any and all mess made when part of the ceiling was removed was cleaned up. Daryl will return at a later date to replace the ceiling that has been removed.

Daryl was terrific! Arrived on time and completed all projects, as well as a couple of other little jobs on the spot. Would definitely contact Daryl again.

He did not do things that did not need done the way others had said. what he did, they did well.

He did a really good job for me. He was done in an hour and a half. The price was reasonable. I watched him do the work, and it was very nice. He was very polite and friendly, and communicated what he thought with me.00

Perfection is all I can say.

Daryl has done several handyman jobs for my Mom over the last two years. He is very trustworthy. My Mom would leave him and his crew to work in the house unattended while she went out to her coffee group. If Daryl gave us an estimate, and it ended up taking less time than he thought he would not charge my Mom the full amount. We would have been none the wiser. I really appreciate his honesty and integrity.He does a good job, is on time and cleans up after himself.

I have used his services several times. He is fantastic and very reasonable. He does all sorts of projects from painting and remodeling. I am happy with his services.
